Isn't the YMCA supposed to be affordable for all? The prices have gotten to be ridiculous.

Thank you staff for listening and responding immediately to my comments and concern about the condition of the Family Locker Room. I appreciate you taking care of the problem. I'm not a fan of posting negative comments on social media. But after bringing the problem to staff's attention, I decided to reach out through this venue. Again, thank you for your swift and immediate response to the problem at hand. The locker room looks very nice.

I like the YMCA, I do. I also liked this one in the beginning, I did. But there are so many things that didn't seem to make sense after being here for some classes and the remodel. My kid is here for gymnastics, she loves it. But after missing the one class they were testing the kids to the next step, we had to wait again a couple more month for the testing to the next level again. We took a month off during summer and now back, which they now have new staff. So my kid who is in the next level is now with the beginners. Seriously, the scheduling of the classes could be better. I know the gymnastics and the swimming program here are two of the biggest drivers to this Y. Speaking of the swimming, yes our kids have done that also. They liked it. Again, when the staff here changes and it changes for not the better, it does affect their mood of coming here. I'm just not sure about the turnover here or how the program director runs this place but I would take more time reviewing it if driving new customers and retaining loyalty is something they desire. I do like the new remodel with the kids playing in a newer room. I do wish, however, the waiting area by the windows about the pool could be done better in some way. This is always a cluster of parents and strollers in a narrow hallway. More seating would be so much better here to accommodate the parents waiting. Other than that, I do like the Y here and the services even though I live closer to another one.

Wanted to write a review because some people have given bad reviews and I genuinely love this place. Let me tell you why... Child care: I can take my two kids and leave for up to two hours at a time while I workout. The staff is super attentive with my kids. My daughter loves Jessica and begs me to go every day. Classes: They got many different classes, but I'm faithful to any of Angelica's classes. She is super intense and runs a yoga class as well as a cycling class. Both which are very small. Staff and Facilities: Staff is all very nice! The person who complained about the life guard probably was the same person I saw get kicked out of the pool because they kept throwing the balls around and had no regard for others in the pool. If that is you, you deserved to get kicked out. You're lucky I didn't tell you something. The life guard kept asking you to stop and you laughed and continued. I'm glad they are strict. I want to enjoy myself and not have people acting disrespectful in the pool area. The facilities are old, but next year they are looking to remodel the entire gym. Looking forward to that. Price: I pay $50 something for my kids and myself. I think it's worth it because other gyms tend to charge every time I take kids. They also have a family summer special. This is a family gym and no one cares how you look. Give the place a try.

Fees are exorbitant. Wanted to sign my kiddo up for a water babies swim class, but the cost would have been almost $20 per 45 min class!

They have group classes (varying between 5-15 people,) small group training (about 3-6 people & priced a little bit more) & personal one-on-one sessions (1-2 people priced a little higher.) You can even drop in & try a class as a walk-in (for less than $20) & see how you like it. Every trainer is different in teaching style, but with the same goal in mind--to get their clients a good workout & good sweat. If you need modifications because of an injury let it be known & they'll tailor it for you. Having the right form is extremely important to me so I appreciate when the trainers would correct me or show us the correct form. I found community here when I wasn't even searching for it. I was reminded to have a strong & positive mindset & that I would only see results if I put in the work. This isn't just a gym. Melissa puts in a lot of hard work, time, energy & dedication to not only her clients, but also in providing equipment that measures up to those same standards. So what are you waiting for? Get in here! I promise you'll leave every sesh feeling sore & sweaty, but also full of endorphins & thankful you moved your body. (Oh! & you can rock the cute merch.)

I primarily come to this location because I value a well-maintained, clean pool and this pool consistently delivers. It's always clean, clear, and well cared for, which makes swimming here a great experience. The locker rooms and showers are also consistently clean and properly maintained. Early on, I did have a concern about members taking photos and videos in the locker room while others were changing. However, management addressed the issue by posting visible signage on the mirrors, and it has made a noticeable improvement. Anytime I've brought up a concern, the staff has been responsive, respectful, and quick to take action. That level of professionalism goes a long way. I've been coming here for over a year after having a bad experience at another gym with poor pool conditions, and this location has been consistently reliable. My only downside is the distance I drive about 10 miles one way just to work out and use the pool. That alone should say how much I value this gym. If I lived closer, I'd be here even more often. Highly recommend this location.

Getting access to basic equipment is a struggle, and the "bring a friend" perk only adds to the congestion. It's hard to get through a workout without long waits. I also wasn't offered any type of trial period before signing up. If I had been, I would've realized the environment wasn't a good fit and avoided this situation altogether. Because of all this, I requested to cancel my membership and asked for the cancellation fee to be waived. The conditions didn't reflect what was advertised, and the lack of a trial made it impossible to make an informed decision. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I hope the gym takes this feedback seriously
