Inside the long tunnel at East Portal Viewpoint!

This is an awesome park to come to to get a view of the I-90 Floating Bridge and a view of Mercer Island and Bellevue. This park is mostly for viewpoint purposes and isn't your typical, large playground type park. This also seems to be a major intersection for a couple city bike trails. Not only that this is the place to go if you want to walk across the bridge from the Seattle side. You can also walk across the bridge on the Mercer Island side too at a park but if for some reason that doing it on the Seattle side is your thing this is the point to come to. This park is not really by anything major as far as nearby businesses go. It's in a residential neighborhood and you have to go in quite aways from any major road to reach it. However because of that this park is very peaceful and their is not a lot of disruption other than the traffic from I-90. Really a great place to come to and take in some views!

By far one of my favorite viewpoints of Seattle!! Kerry Park is a must stop if you are in the…read moreSeattle area. A couple things to consider as you are planning your trip to Kerry Park: 1) the park is located on a extremely steep hill (you can definitely walk to it, but you'll likely be exhausted walking all the way up to the top from lower Queen Anne), 2) if you are driving it may take some time to find parking as the park is tucked away in a neighborhood, and 3) Mount rainier is viewable from the park on a clear day, you'll want to stop by on a sunny and clear day if possible (the view is still beautiful if the weather is overcast, but it's even better if it's sunny and clear). When you arrive to Kerry Park you'll be greeted with a postcard perfect view of Seattle/the puget sound, and a relaxing atmosphere. It can get busy but spots will naturally open up where you can take photos. I'd recommend going close to sunset if you can time it. Btw, if you are a Grey's anatomy fan some of the house filmed at are tucked away in the Queen Anne neighborhood.

Even though it was a cloudier day, we still have a beautiful view of the city skyline. We found street parking nearby. It's located in a gorgeous neighborhood. They have a few benches and a sculpture in the middle. It's not that big of space, but a great quick photo opp.
