The hotel is located in a very nice area walkable distance to just about everything. Upon arrival the front desk was amazing, the people held doors, showed me how to use my elevator, the view from my room was nice, and the room itself was great. The staff was very friendly and had great suggestions on what to check out as I was on a trip to clear my head. I didn't have anything planned but since it was prime location there was a list of things to do. The one complaint was I was solo I'm not sure if that is what caused a lot of confusion at the pool?¿ most of the groups were taken care of immediately while it took almost an hour to get a menu. The pool area itself was nice and the food was okay. The gym however was a lot nicer than most hotels . It had a great variety of equipment and the times I went it wasn't too full however I've heard it's super busy in the mornings. The hotel also has a nice bar on the rooftop with great views. The times I went were fun and amazing even on a Monday it got pretty busy. The cleaning staff was also super sweet and accommodating and they texted me when to clean my room or when they missed me because the room had a do not disturb button. Had good views , cool tub, rainfall shower , etc. Overall really great hotel . High tech you can choose the lights in your room . From my previous stays in other hotels this one has the nicest mirrors for pictures. I'd recommend especially on the weekends it's close to everything !

Stayed in the Residences for a special birthday weekend celebrating a friend's 30th. Being my first time at the hotel, I was super excited being located in the heart of Brickell and the added fun of taking the elevator down into the mall (need to buy extra clothes in a pinch). Also a plus that Sugar is located on the rooftop. The rooms were clean, balcony's provide awesome views, accessibility very welcoming and easy, my only complaint was the pool staff. Not once were we ever asked if we'd like to order, how we were doing, if we needed towels, even after having stayed there for 3 days in a row hungover. If asked, we would have gladly ordered. We ended up going to a different hotel pool for a day of fun!

After our last visit to EAST, my daughter and I were able to make our wish come true and do a stay-cation at this beautiful, upscale hotel for a weekend! It's located in the heart of Brickell and connected to the Brickell City Centre for shopping and restaurants. You have everything located in one place for convenience! Our room was everything we hoped for. We had a fantastic Miami city and Miami River view with a nice sized balcony, 30 floors up! The Miami night lights were incredible! We had breakfast on the balcony two mornings in a row overlooking Miami. It was amazing. The king bed had the perfect mattress, giving me the best sleep I've had in a long time. That was very important to me. The room was very well designed with lots of storage areas. They also have blackout curtains. The bathroom was large with huge counter space. Quality mirrors thruout with vanity lights in the bathroom. The toilet was higher, larger, and quality made. It was in a large cubicle separate with a privacy door. The best water closet of any hotel we have stayed at. The shower cubicle was amazing with the shower head built into the ceiling, so the water rained down on you! There was also a regular shower head if you wanted to shower like you do at home. There was a huge, built-in coffee closet with cups and coffee-maker for coffee or tea lovers. Also, there was a pull out drawer with a safe in it. The counter above the long dresser had room for suitcases or your personal belongings. Besides that, there was a regular closet as well. For your dining pleasure, the EAST has 2 upscale dining rooms plus a rooftop patio bar . The Tea Room is a speak-easy and a very sought-after place to be seen in Miami because of the exquisite views and delicious food and drinks. It is located on the 40th floor. You go up in the special star-studded elevator! Close to the Tea Room is Sugar, the very popular rooftop patio bar where everyone loves to hang out and listen to music while sipping delicious drinks. For a very different vibe, the Quinto is downstairs and is a gorgeous fantasy-style South American jungle with large, comfortable wooden furniture with lots of pillows for comfort! It has lights strung in the palm trees and foliage for night lighting. The food is delicious! The hotel service was gracious and attentive. We had no complaints. We wish to thank Juan Alvarez for his kindness and assistance and Cynthia at the front desk for her help in checking us in. We look forward to going back again in the near future. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Hotel definitely provided the service we anticipate. We were visiting the area from Arizona for my birthday so I wanted to find a nice spot we could stay at with a nice view with a balcony and this spot was completely amazing. I have to say we made a great choice, staying here. It was in the heart of the city in the Brickell area. We had fast and easy Uber access to get us around the city to any of the destinations we had planned on our itinerary. The service was outstanding from the front desk, housekeeping, the restaurants we visited to the bar in the pool area, as well as, the rooftop bar. I definitely highly recommend this hotel if you happen to plan your next trip to Miami.

Iris @ Domain (lobby bar) is one of the most attentive member of the entire hotel. Her kindness and attitude will brighten your day while you eat some nutritious foods before you get your day started.

Love this hotel! It's very modern & has an earthy aesthetic. The gym was an open space with clean & newer modeled machines. It's best to go early to beat the crowd. I was able to enjoy the small breakfast buffet once. It wasn't an amazing selection, but maybe it depends on the day. Wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities, but I'll definitely be back. Also, you might spot a couple celebrities lodging here if you're into that kind of thing.

UPDATE: I have been contacted by the hotel and they insured me the employee did not follow their policy before entering a guests room and the situation has been handled accordingly. ......................................... The location for this hotel is great but the staff have their own way of doing things at this establishment! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! I have stayed at the East Miami hotel twice within the past year and both times I have come across bugs and/or coaches the come from hiding upon me checking in. This displays the lack of maintenance and sanitation being conducted at this hotel. Additionally a MAN from guest services took it upon himself to enter into my room as I was undressed to take a shower while I had the DO NOT DISTURB signage on my door. I had already ordered towels and toilet paper which the SAME gentleman had just brought to my room. The first time he knocked and waited for me to come to the door. He then returned with more towels without me asking and starts entering my room. I yell and he walks back out of the room. I immediately call guest services and ask the manager to contact me. The manager on duty named Marvin NEVER CONTACTED ME. I finally talk to another manager name Dan who asked me to write a statement so they can investigate. I AM STILL WAITING FOR HELP FROM MANAGEMENT REGARDING THE MAN FROM GUEST SERVICES ENTERING MY ROOM AS I WAS UNDRESSED

EAST hotel was our first Miami base for 4 days during our anniversary getaway (last week of March). Eversince I stayed in EAST Hong Kong a few years back, I knew I had to keep following their developments and when I knew they finally had a US property, I was set on going there to experience the same hospitality. Overall, just like their Hong Kong property, the hotel is gorgeous and incredibly modern. From the elevators to their room lighting, it's all tech. We got the corner King Room and was assigned to City Views. While I loved all the Brickell light and views, I still would have wanted to have been given the option if we wanted Bay Views during check-in but wasn't. Still, the only person who I'd actually want to commend was Marvin during check-in, greeted us Happy Anniversary and gave us a late check-out at 3PM. Nice gesture. Everything else was then all glam. The room is impressive, the whole balcony and being on the 27th floor was incredible, and our deep soak tub all added to the charm. There was no anniversary greeting or note or any thing at all. Made me wonder if we should have stayed at Mandarin Oriental instead to continue our MO Anniversary tradition. Either way, we enjoyed our stay because we chose to. The pools were wonderful and when we found ourselves a nice spot early mornings. Otherwise it gets pretty packed and crowded. We ordered food by the poolside from Quinto (prosciutto pizza with mushrooms, chicken tenders and fries + pina colada) but it was just okay. We intentionally didn't go to Sugar because unlike the HK property, this one required $100 minimum amount per person to enter, regardless if you're a guest and despite the allure of it all, there are better ways to spend $200++ (like renting a private boat for 2 hours with your own private Captain which we happily did!) than just that. Location is pretty good and a quick easy Uber/Lyft ride wherever, if you choose not to drive as well. We liked going downstairs to the Brickell City Centré Mall for quick buys and got our daily coffee from Starbucks at The Shops at Mary Brickell Village. Lastly, quality of sleep was just okay. There were blackout curtains thankfully but the bed and pillows were way too soft. The shower pressure (was telling my husband I had my best rain shower at East Hong Kong so was expecting the same naturally) was unfortunately a let down and the drainage situation wasn't really good. Like while you're showering it could really leak the entire floor if you're not watching out for the water to drain. Lastly, during the last day of our stay, March 30th, my husband and I actually found some broken glasses while swimming in the pool and we were almost cut and could have had major bleeding. We have pictures and videos of this. Eventually one kid from another group got hurt and there were pending 'negotiations' happening during the time. They eventually decided to send people to 'take care of it' and closed off the pool for awhile. Was alarming that they weren't checking how safe the pools were early mornings especially considering there were a lot of families with their kids. Our guess was perhaps some drunk customers threw some bottles in the pool hence all that glass. Overall, it was nice and good to cross off my list but we didn't feel the heart and soul of the place. Was it Instagramable? Without a doubt. Was service memorable? Unfortunately not. If we ever have the chance to come back, I'd sincerely wish for staff and service to be warmer and better. :)

We booked a King Bay room for 2 nights! The view was great, both city & ocean view. Our room was clean & bed was comfy. We got the chance to go have a drink at rooftop bar, Sugar, & they were really good... the downfall was our experience at the pool.... The pool & hot tub were great but the service was very slow and our "server" was not very attentive. I had to get up to go order our drinks & when they were no where to be found 20 minutes later, I had to get up and ask for them again. Honestly the server just didn't seem to care. I am in the service industry so i always give people a break but this was just straight up bad service. Other than that, everything was good.

Walking distance to a Publix, the mall, bakery, etc. The hotel checkin is on the 6th floor, the first floor is mainly a seating area and concierge. They offer free hot breakfast, mini fridge and microwave in the room, cruise shuttle at time of this review is priced at $12 with pick up times at 10a, 11a, and 12p. If you miss breakfast, they had breakfast bags with fruit and other grab and go items. You will need your room key to access the laundry room and guest floors. There is no carpet in the room I was in (basic king- not the elite level) and pets are not allowed. Service animals only. The hotel has a lobby bar, three restaurants are located right next door (Sproutz, Batch Gastropub, and Shahs of Kabob). I dined at Sproutz and Shahas of Kabob and both are good, but they are not affiliated with the hotel. I stayed 3 nights prior to my cruise and I really enjoyed my stay. The air conditioner worked with no issues, pillows are very soft, bed was firm, but not uncomfortable and I slept better in that bed, than my own. There is a master light switch to control the overhead light in the entry and bathroom. You can operate them separately (it just takes some flipping of lights to figure it out). Decent water pressure and nice, hot water at night. Morning time I suggest getting your shower in early. Hot water is still present but not as hot as it was the night before. Tip- I took my shower at 5/6am the morning of checkout and the water was hot and perfect for a nice shower before leaving for cruise. Staff was always smiling, friendly and willing to assist. Carlos at the concerige desk is very helpful, ask for his recommendations and he is more than happy to assist. The 7th floor has the laundry facility, but many machines were out of order. This is going on my pre cruise hotel list because it was the perfect hotel and the perfect location. It was about a 15min ride to the cruise port and airport. The cruise port ride was booked for 8am, so I beat the 9am bumper car cruise port traffic. The video I posted is short and quick, but a glimpse of the room

We had a two day stay before heading out on a cruise. An extended vacation if you will. The service was phenomenal! We stayed on the Elite Level which provided extra goodies, and benefits. Sharing a picture below of what they define as the elite level and the benefits included. The location is perfect, in the middle of all things Brickell/Downtown. We were surrounded by restaurants/eateries, coffee shops, stores, the park, city centre you name it! Super convenient because we didn't need to call a Lyft to get around. So you better believe on the days we did go out, we got our steps in. It's giving HEALTH! 2026 who?! We are starting NOW honey! Okay, back to the review....hot (and cold if you're into that) breakfast was served each morning for free! You read that correctly. Free food honey. I mean you did pay for it so why not go ahead and eat? Your business not mine. Non-smoking hotel. Pools. Fitness center. The whole ordeal. A little store with snacks, drinks, and whatever else you feel you may need or want. I should also add that the hotel prides themselves on being accessible. Let's move towards cleanliness. Because cleanliness is next to what?! Godliness! Okay, I see yall! The room oozed of cleaning products. You would have thought the staff had just left from pouring Clorox and whatever other good smells needed to make a space smell delicious. Oozing with fresh aromas! The bed, not mine, but theres, was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in when traveling. Hotel beds typically don't bring out the best in me, I am in fear of all beds that are not my own. Laugh if you must but I am who I am! However, a soft bed with clean linings - sign me TF up. The elite levels are on the 14th and 15th floors. They provide robes and slippers. Did not wear the robe. Read what I said about the beds and sit with that. Anyway, I did wear the slippers and they are about as thin as a sheet of loose leaf paper lmao! The chair rolled on top of mine and ripped the back of it so they lasted about 12 hours for me. #SelfInflicted I know. It's a nice touch to have in your hotel room though. Me personally, I travel with slippers. As I bring this review to a close, I want to highlight the staff members that assisted during the stay. Mr. Ernest, Russell, and everyone else at the front desk that extended a warm welcome and consistent assistance. Thank you again! One hiccup that was addressed immediately. They have an "in-room dining option." This particular policy states that you can order food and have the food delivered to your room. Okay convenience! And accessibility! Well I ordered some food from a nearby eatery and the delivery person was not allowed up. "We don't allow people to come up to the rooms for safety reasons." Heard. And appreciated. Truly!! They value safety. My issue was when asked about the policy in place, being asked if I had a medical condition to where I couldn't come down and to get my delivery. While a relevant question, that is something I'd recommend treading lightly around. You never know anyone's health/medical condition. Furthermore, if your policy states one thing then every staff member needs to be on one accord. The issue was taken care of and the person was able to deliver my order. The front desk member was also not rude just inquiring. I appreciate how quickly the matter was resolved. If you're headed on a cruise or you're in need of a nice hotel that is conveniently located, Hampton Inn Brickell is your girl (or boy), be who you are!

My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

You must walk through the lobby and across the outside area. The sauna and the one person steam shower is located here. You Check-in then you get changed into the robe and walk across the lobby check-in area to the elevators. You are walking through the area with all the guests and their luggage in your super large robe that doesn't close very well. I did not enjoy this. Some disappointing things which was not their fault is the parking garage construction noise even on Sundays. The noise took away from my spa experience. They did nothing for the noise control. Also, the SPA requests you must arrive 30 minutes before your treatment time. I got my parking validated BUT we stayed for brunch who also validated our parking but we went over the 4 hours so we got no discount for parking and we were charged the full $35 fee plus tip for the valet. The valet staff was quite nasty telling me we were there too long for the discount BUT each one of those alone qualified for a discounted valet. You can not do both in the 4 hour window.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night prior to a cruise. We used credit-card points to pay for the room. The employee at the front desk spoke nicely with us and allowed us to check into our room early. Our room had a balcony, king-sized bed, television, desk and chair, sofa, closets, large walk-in shower, wi-fi, and views of the bay. The room was comfortable and clean, but we could sometimes hear our neighbor's loud music. I did notice that the floor boards had gaps and that some wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Building amenities included a business center, meeting rooms, swimming pool, fitness center, a restaurant, etcetera. This hotel has a restaurant called Caña, and we ate one meal there. I will review it separately under its Yelp listing, but it was decent.

Ultimately, this review is mostly moot as the hotel is planned to be demolished in May (I wish I…read morehad known this prior to booking) and that explains a lot about the property. First, the good, it's an awesome location on the southern tip of Brickell Key. The pool was wonderful and gets mostly continuous sun exposure during the day. My balcony faced west so I had sun during the afternoon as well (perfect for a tan). Honestly, I never felt like I needed to leave the resort being a pool guy. The base price room was spacious and mostly clean with a separate shower and tub. The bad- the service wasn't great here. I felt like anytime I needed something I had to ask 3-4 times before staff would remember (including freebies that were part of the room rate). The one time I asked a concierge for assistance he was super brash telling me to go talk to the front desk. The property felt old and in need of a renovation (again it's being demolished so not surprising in that context). Also, a lot of the ads for the resort promote its beach which no longer exists- it's now a model home for the condos going in. The hotel is pricey and gratuity is auto-included at 20% for everything which would be fine if the service was better and they didn't ask for additional tip on top of it. I wish I stayed here 20+ years ago because it felt like in its hay day this was a swanky hotel. Today, it's tired, on its last months, and the staff really don't seem like 5-star talent (as a benefit to the doubt most people would be unmotivated if things were shutting down too). Part of me is excited to try the new hotel whenever it opens, part of me wonders if the poor service is just part of the brand. The gym was tacky- literally they just through equipment in 6ish guest rooms with the doors propped open. Kind of funny but not 5-star hotel caliber.

There is a minimum spend requirement for the cabana, but it was super easy to hit between food and drinks. After a long day of travel, we received two Prosecco as soon as we checked in and arrived. Our room was upgraded and it was located right across on top of the Naked Taco where the rooftop pool is at. It's perfectly located for anything you want to do, all the good food spots, bars, places, etc. The next day we went straight to the beach and they provide complimentary beach chairs, towels and umbrellas upon request and you just walk yourself to the beach with them. There's nothing like Miami Beach! The water was perfect and it felt so good to just defrost on the sand and dive into the gorgeous turquoise water. After a few hours at the beach, we went back, enjoyed late check out and headed to crunch fitness - which was absolutely worth it! The Brickell area is a vibe, walkable and full of restaurants and shops, which makes it a perfect pre- or post-cruise stay. The hotel's proximity to the cruise port was a huge plus. Check-in is self-service, but assistance is available if needed, which made the process easy and convenient. The king bed does take up most of the room, stretching from the window to the wall, so the room feels a bit compact--but it's thoughtfully designed. The sink is located in the main room across from the bathroom, and I actually found the setup pretty functional. The shelves around the sink were stocked with a washcloth, hand towel, hair dryer, and tissues, plus hand soap and lotion at the end of the counter. There was also enough counter space for toiletries. There's an open closet area and a nice touch of wall art, and the laminated wood flooring gave the room a clean, modern feel. One of my favorite features was the in-room iPad that controls everything--such a fun tech-forward touch. I also absolutely loved the decor throughout the hotel. The colors are vibrant, playful, and stylish without feeling overdone. The second-floor seating areas were spacious and inviting, and the rooftop/pool space was another highlight. There's also a bar on the second floor with outdoor seating, which is a great spot to relax and people-watch. Overall, this hotel has a fun atmosphere, smart use of technology, and an unbeatable location. I'd definitely stay here again, especially for a quick stay before a cruise.
