Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, and place was filthy. Wet clothes grazed the floor for a second as I removed from washing machine leaving a dirt mark that I couldn't remove. This was at 9 a.m., so relatively early in the day when I'd expect the place to still have been clean. It's not right when a place you go to clean clothes is itself dirty. Very disappointing. Also, rather than having you purchase a card (the way most laundromats do in the city) this one requires that you change dollars for quarters, then spend a couple of minutes shooting 52 quarters into a washer's coinslot (for largest machine; 27 quarters into smallest). Kind of nuts, and needless work for staff who have to empty coinboxes on each machine and recycle coins back to change machine. read more

Been staying in the hamptons for the past 7 summers and this is the only place I bring my laundry. I usually don't take the time to even write a review, but I really feel this place gets the credit! From being the friendliest staff I have ever encountered to keeping their facility in pristine condition I must say I am very impressed. It's a great atmosphere to just relax, eat some lunch outside by the fish pond, listen to the birds chirp and take in the scene while waiting for your laundry. Overall I'm happy there is a place that takes pride in getting the job done. Recently, I tried their pick up & delivery service and it was so convenient. I visited their website and scheduled a pickup and that same day they picked up my laundry from outside my door and returned it later that evening! read more

A good and very well managed and well run laundromat. Don't mind the pool table in the back. Saturday nights they also have a Latino party here - or so I am told. I dropped my clothes off at 6:15 and I come back at 7:45 to see my clothes taken out of the washier and thrown in a basket all wet. The women at the front desk starts raising her voice at me saying their closing and I have to come back tomorrow when the sign clearly says on the front door they close at 9!!!! I'm furious because first thing don't touch my things second why raise your voice at me??? Mind you she's doing this in front of other customers and they chime in and defend me as well. Other then all of that my clothes came clean just don't trust the hours of this establishment! read more

This is the dirtiest, smelliest, most unkept, by far the most expensive laundromat I have ever been in. I used one large, one medium, and one small machine and they were all old and questionable but, most importantly, they didn't even remove superficial dirt from my comforters - I literally had to come home and wash them by hand, again! If you have any other options for your laundry while in this area, please use them. If you don't have other options, think twice about even driving there. read more

This place is a bit of a hike for me, but its' completely worth the long trek into Suffolk county knowing that the equipment is always in mint condition and the facility is clean. I believe this place has been open more than 15 years and still the floors and machines look as clean as they did years ago. The prices are fair (especially for the location) and as an added bonus, they have two foosball tables if you don't want to bury your head in your phone/ipad to kill time. East Hampton Laundry is the best! I drop off my linens on Sunday after spending the weekend in Montauk and then pick it up on my way back to Montauk on Friday. All of my linens are always fresh and folded immaculately. The ladies who work there are so pleasant and there is never a wait. Best place. Same owners as South Hampton. read more

You expect to pay more for everything in the Hamptons but this place is outrageous. First of all, they only let you use the dryers of you wash too. The gas is more for drying was their reason. They extorted me for an extra $5 on top of the $1.50 it cost me to dry 4 towels for 30 minutes. Mind you the towels were already 2/3 dry and the 30 minutes on high just barely got them dry. So $6.50 for 30 min of mediocre heat on 4 towels. Nice racket this place has going on.... read more

If I could give no stars I would...This guy has a racket goin...not only is this laundromat the MOST expensive I've ever visited, but if you complain that the laundry isn't drying, even after an hour and a half, they go behind the machines in a "secret" room and turns up the heat!!! MIRACULOUSLY THEN your things dry. They keep the heat turned down till you complain, meanwhile you just keep feeding the dryer... $.25 per 5 minutes. I'm used to people ripping you off in the Hamptons, but this guy has hit an all time low.... It cost my wife and I over $40 to do one weeks worth of laundry. Avoid this place at all costs, worth the drive to Hampton Bays or Riverhead instead. read more

After living in the Hamptons 20 years, only a few miles away, could not believe how rude and unfair these reviews were. (just goes to prove, for the most part, only malcontents and miserable people leave such negative reviews....would almost guarantee they're tourists as well!) I have properties here that I rent and have washer/dryers in them all, but occasionally have to do comforters, blankets and larger items. (sometimes normal wash too, when we have guests come and go the same day) Their triple washers are great. Open and airy, lots of light. Great large tables to fold and big wheeled carts to transfer laundry. Well run and organized. Am so grateful we even have this available to us close to home.
