This place is awesome just be mindful that you get your laundry the next day but the charge fee for same day isn't bad at all very clean and they fold the clothes afterwards (as someone who hates folding clothes that alone made me give it five stars) overall they are clean and thorough. 4 stars for laundry - maybe. I am trying to be generous. -2 stars for folding stuff I didn't want folded. TWICE. -1 star for not following instructions. -1 star FOR NOT USING SANITIZER PROVIDED IN EACH LOAD, AS INSTRUCTED. (0 stars left) 5 stars for Harvy's response time. -3 stars for Harvy blaming my laundry sanitizer for strong smell in laundry. -1 star for having to ask for a part refund because some of my laundry has to be done again before the clothes can be worn. Refund hasn't shown up yet on my credit card, so I notified my credit card company. (One star left) I didn't really want to send out our laundry, but I am recovering from a bad whiplash injury which was re-injured earlier this year. I thought maybe this would solve my laundry woes. Not so much...Harvy is very responsive, but I had issues from the start. I gave Spin Sudz 2 tries, so that there was an opportunity to fix the errors. Then I had to terminate using their service. If your laundry needs are pretty basic, like wash, fold, you don't care how things are folded or if they are folded consistently, you don't care what it smells like when it comes back, etc etc, then this service is probably fine. If you have allergies, or need things folded a certain way because of reason X, Y, Z, or have things that you want folded and things you don't want folded, or want things folded consistently, or you want them to use the laundry sanitizer you provided on all of your laundry, you might want to check out several different services before settling on one. (I could tell there were at least 2 people folding, and if they were both using the same method, I'm not really sure how things were so inconsistently folded.) LAUNDRY INSTRUCTIONS NOT FOLLOWED: um no, they don't follow them. How do I know? Because I asked them to use Lysol Laundry Sanitizer in each load, 2 caps filled to the shorter line. OMFG, I could tell they hadn't because there wasn't enough missing from the bottle if they had used it in every load and separated colors from whites from darks from delicates! So disgusting, because I don't know what has been sanitized and what hasn't!!! FOLDING OPTION is MISLEADING. It looks like you can give specific instructions, but unless the instruction is Do Not Fold (more on that later), it seems specific instructions are not really followed because they use the "Marie Kondo" way. Which left me confused when two towels of the same size were folded two different ways. They fit into the bag in which they were returned fine, but I had to re-fold them to fit into cupboards and drawers, so I'm not really sure how that saves space for me. As for Do Not Fold: both times my panties came back folded despite my request not to do so. I had also instructed that due to injury, I wanted sheets be folded inside out and top to bottom first, then however they wanted. (It's more efficient so that I can just plop sheets on the bed and unfold them.) That didn't happen, and I am too injured to unfold and refold the sheets on my own, so I can't even change the bedding on my own, which is a pain in my neck. And back. HYPOALLERGENIC NOT SO MUCH - there are options for different detergent brands and fabric softeners, etc etc. I asked them to use All Free & Clear detergent, white vinegar as fabric softener, and free&clear dryer sheets. I also provided Lysol laundry sanitizer with instructions (you can't get the unscented any more, but the vinegar helps keep the scent down, as does adding it at the beginning of the wash cycle). The second time I used them, some of my shirts came back smelling so strongly of Tide, they need to be washed again. I tried to wear one of the less strong smelling shirts and had to take it off after a few minutes because it set off my allergies. When I contacted Spin Sudz, Harvy blamed the Lysol sanitizer, except if they followed my directions (including their option for white vinegar), then the laundry shouldn't have smelled of Tide detergent, or anything else. If it had been the Lysol at fault, ALL of my laundry should have reeked, not just a portion of it, and only, maybe, if they had added the Lysol at the end (which was NOT my instruction). But then, they didn't seem to have used the Lysol as directed, so who the hell knows? And yes, I can tell it was Tide smelling up my clothes, just like I can tell if the smell of raw onion is fresh or old. In addition to which, I have been using Lysol sanitizer since before covid, and if used per instructions, laundry shouldn't smell of it. I now have to wash those clothes again. And I had to ask for a part refund to re-wash them, which I think is pretty poor. I get they performed a service, but the result is I have to have it re-done, so they should have offered a part refund instead of my having to ask first, though Harvy was fine about it once I asked. (Note the refund is the amount they would have credited for a Yelp review.) So far, I see a charge for my laundry on the credit card, but no refund. read more

Superb service. I live in a co-op with the laundry room in the basement of another building. I broke my ankle falling down those stairs and was put in a non weight bearing cast for over three months. I dealt with a Man named Harvey... I asked him over and over again if I could speak with the supervisor he wouldn't allow me to and just kept telling me that we needed to part ways. against my will he canceled my disabled mothers account, I have footage of the laundry service not knocking on the door my mother is paralyzed and cannot speak I made Harvey aware of that when I first signed up he told me I wouldn't have any issues... I have submitted the video footage of no one knocking on the front door or the back door... He told me that the gentleman knocked on the back door and when I submitted the footage he changed it and said that the gentleman knocked on the front door... he also said that he was the supervisor, and the manager and that the owner has no time for people like me... He told me that the conversations are recorded so I'm hoping that the owner will pull up the conversations as well as the videos... This laundry service is terrible at first I was very excited I thought they were understanding especially about the fact that she is disabled and it turned out to be extremely stressful and they treated us extremely unfair. read more

I can't believe I'm the first review! I just unpacked my laundry, and let me tell you....WOW. Coming home after a long day with one less thing to do is wonderful, but when one of those things is done beyond your expectations is just amazing. I posted a few pictures on the packaging of my laundry. First, I absolutely love how neatly folded my laundry is. I can just grab them and place them into my drawers. The plastic bag you see came in a thick blue water proof laundry bag. Second, they smell amazing! Honestly, when I do my own laundry it doesn't smell as good as this. When I moved in to my apartment, it was the first time I lived without a washer/dryer. I was stressing about what would be the easiest way to get all of my laundry done with the very little time that I have. (I work two jobs and also go to school, therefore free time is very slim). I did my research and found Spin Sudz, I must admit, at first I was very skeptical being that I've never even heard of such a service. After my first pick up/drop off, it was a done deal. Spin sudz lets me choose all washing settings for my clothes, they listen to every single one of my instructions (where to pick up and drop off, I also separate clothes that I do not want dried and they return it separately from the clothes that are washed and dried normally). They fold my clothes and put my socks together to a T. Once being worried about how much I have to set aside time to do my laundry, I now only spend all of 10 minutes a week prepping my clothes for pick up and putting it all away once it's arrived. First time using and had to wait three days until they serve my area ( ok i agreed because drop off still in time and i understand logistics.) and then they never show. No show. No communication regarding not showing. Plenty of other options and i chose them now forced to rush somewhere else and i wont have dry cleaning back in time. Bad business period, people. My husband and I live in a co-op with the laundry machines in another building that you have to pay for. It is extremity inconvenient especially in the colder months. We were using our local laundromat not too far from our home but I would have to stay on top of my husband about when he was running out of socks or underwear, pack up 3-4 garbage bags full of laundry, lug them out to my car and drop them off before work and then hope they can finish them by the next day. They were constantly bleaching my whites other colors etc. I somehow came upon spinsudz online and our lives have changed for the better!! They give you a giant blue bag after your first pick up/drop off and we fill it all week for our pickup every Monday; if it's a light laundry week we have the option to cancel and wait for next Monday or reschedule it for Thursday. Either way it has always been so convenient for us. They text us to remind us Sunday night to leave it out Monday morning, you get a text when it's picked up and dropped off. You can also go online and choose your detergent, fabric softener, if you want your whites bleached and other options for how you like your laundry done. They will do whatever you ask for the most part!
