The absolute worst service. I've lived here for 4 years and there are limited options in EH. There is always a wait of more than 30 minutes and you have to advocate 10 times to get anything you need like call back or a sick appointment. Dr. Lado is very nice and once you see him, he spends time with patients but he told me yesterday a fever of 105 is nothing to be alarmed about in an 11 year old. I'll literally drive an hour away moving forward to avoid this place. read more

I took our 2 year old son there over thanksgiving weekend because he had the worst cold he's ever had. We saw a Dr Perry. I generally didn't like his disposition but attributed it to it being a holiday weekend and his not wanting to be there (our visit happened the Wednesday before thanksgiving). He diagnosed him with Croup. I was immediately concerned with our other child who is 5 months old. I asked him about 3 times during the visit if our baby could become sick as well and what the repercussions would be. He seemed annoyed but three times this man looked at me in the face and told me Croup was not contagious to infants. That she would most likely get sick but that it would be something else, not croup because croup is not something infants develop (according to him). Fast forward to the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We're driving back to the city. And out of the back of the car I hear that awful croup sounding cough coming out of my five month old baby who had developed a bad cold. I immediately called our main pediatrician and explained to her over the phone what Dr. Perry told us. Her first question was "are you sure you saw a doctor?" Then proceeded to explain to me that not only is croup highly contagious to infants but it's actually extremely dangerous as their larynx can close and they can stop breathing. It also develops extremely rapidly and it requires urgent treatment. It was 11am. She told us to pull up at the first pediatric urgent care we found on the way to give her medication because if she was already expressing the cough she would worsen fast. She did not want to have her spend the night untreated to see her personally the next morning. I cannot help but imagine what could have happened should I have listened to this Dr Perry and not called my own doctor. Would she have stopped breathing in the middle of the night? Given this was such a serious issue I called this pediatric clinic two days ago and asked to speak to a supervisor. A detailed email was taken while I held on the phone and a lot of questions were asked to me by the front desk. I called back this morning as I never heard back from the manager. The front desk told me an email had been sent to her and they could not imagine why she didn't call me back. I guess her lack of response tells us everything we need to know about this place. They are careless, ill educated and frankly I'm certain it's dangerous to take your most loved beings here. I wish I had never found this place on google but I'm thankful I at least had another primary care doctor who's actually properly educated. Had I not had that it's possible I would have lost a child because of the medical incompetence of this place. read more

Literally the most horrible place in east hampton I was SO sick last summer for months. Went to see "doctor" schonfeld and she dismissed me for "anxiety" and whatever else then I got a bad uti and she said it was "anxiety" I was so pissed off I suffered for two months bc I was convinced I had something wrong in my head. 2 months later I was in so much pain up in my back went to a diff doctor turns out I didn't have just a uti I HAD A KIDNEY INFECTION AND A UTI all bc the "dr" couldn't do her job. Unbelievable and y'all might read this and be like she's lying but I can promise you I'm not and my sisters and other friends children have become so sick and had to go the ER with severe pneumonia because these drs dismiss everything here. I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled because the entire team at East End Pediatrics was incredibly thoughtful and supportive in their approach to practicing medicine. We recently moved from the city post Covid and my son had a prolonged fever which was concerning to us. Dr. Schoenfeld (and Dr. Favre as the secondary doctor) was so transparent and thorough in her thought process and ultimately correctly diagnosed the issue. She also proactively coordinated with my child's pediatrician in the city and later communicated directly with the specialists at Mount Sinai in the city to provide a complete historic report to the doctors as they were assessing a surgical procedure. My pediatric surgeon at Mount Sinai reiterated that the medical advice and recommended care we received from East End Pediatrics was exactly what he would have recommended. I am especially grateful for the emotional support and access to the pediatricians at East End at all hours of the day (even after regular office hours). I am relieved to have found such excellent pediatric care in East Hampton after moving from NYC. read more

Dr. Schonfeld and the staff of East End Pediatrics were amazing today. They saw us for an emergency appointment after my almost 2 year old son hurt his leg on the playground. Dr. Schonfeld was so caring and attentive to my son and her and her staff calmed and reassured me and my husband. They even blew bubbles for my son and gave him a lollipop to help him get through the appointment. Between their flexibility of seeing us on extremely short notice, their willingness to facilitate an immediate X-ray at the adjacent xray facility (Karen and Michele at the x-ray facility were incredible too!), and their kind professionalism throughout our visit, we could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this physician and practice. read more

For every single appointment the wait time runs from 30 to 50 minutes, seems to be overbooked constantly. Unpleasant front desk, who seems not to care at all. The place needs a better management system. read more

Dr. Lado & Dr. Schoenfeld are great but the front desk staff is terrible. Every single time I interact with them, on the phone or in person, I am upset that they are our only choice in pediatrician on the East End. Ever Every single interaction with the front desk is unpleasant, even down to the voicemails they leave. It is an incredibly unpleasant experience and I hate that they are our only pediatric office on the East End. I would go elsewhere if I had another choice based on the front desk staff alone. read more

Not a huge fan. We've been with the group since our first child was born and while their hours are great - definitely designed for working parents and high patient volume - the primary physician's bedside manner needs severe improvement and the supporting doctors, while kind, don't really provide much in the way of effective solutions. All the nurses but one are incredible. (Her ignorance is terrifying.) The front desk staff is a 50/50 shot. They're either kind and prompt, but still hosting inappropriate side conversations right in front of you in English or Spanish, or they are new and overwhelmed with zero answers to the most basic of questions. Needless to say this practice is good in a pinch - if you have to - but the ignorance of the last nurse, the non-resolution of on-going issue, coupled with having to specifically request NOT to have the primary doctor because of her bedside manner which is dismissive of men, and in our experience included her putting an ungloved finger in my then, first, newborn baby's mouth; then having me breastfeed on demand without even getting my name. Over all, we found this clinic is not for us. We will not use the primary physician there, and the other's, while kind, tend to give us home remedies that simply don't work - further elongating the discomfort and/or pain for child. read more
