The staff is friendly and helpful and their office times perfectly fit my schedule which switches back and forth between days and nights quite frequently which is a big thing for me. Always getting an assistant to the doctor, never the doctor -even though you requested an appointment with the doctor for physicals. Long, long wait times. No excuses. Will not even entertain letting you in the office until they have cleared all of your insurance. read more

Stay clear of this place. The staff is very rude and angry. The owner Meciko A. Muharemovic, MD assaulted me after lying about when my son's covid test results would be ready. Unfortunately, it appears that the physicians at Hampton Medical Care are more concerned with collecting money from insurance companies than caring for patients. I cannot comment on the quality of the physicians here because despite being billed for a doctor's visit, I was never seen by a doctor and never stepped foot in the facility. When I called to inquire about my bill, I was told "How much we bill insurance is none of your business." If the remaining balance is coming out of my pocket, I believe it is my business! There's a Northwell Health Urgent Care less than a mile away just down Montauk Highway and would recommend you take your business there first. This place don't respect patients, you only are the number of your insurance card. They don't care about you. I been waiting for more than 2 hrs. And also you never see the doctor, only the nurse assistant because. They just wanna give appointment to charge more to the insurance. If you need a specialist they don't send you. Totally I make a mistake changing mi PCP to this place. Only Brenda is nice the rest of them don't deserve a penny of the money they charge to the insurance. I have been a patient at Hampton Medical Care for about 3 years now and while I was initially apprehensive about switching to a new practice after many years with my former family physician, I have been very pleasantly surprised by the care I receive from Dr. Muharemovic and the nurse practitioners who work with him. The support staff is courteous, professional and willing to assist you in any way they can. Dr. Muharemovic is kind and understanding, always willing to listen to your concerns and provide information and explanations when needed, and is very sensitive to the individual needs of his patients. Most importantly, the doctor and nurse practitioners all provide thorough, excellent care to their patients. Have been going there for years, very professional and up to date as far as having all of your medical info. In fact today, I went in to set up an appointment to check if I had a hernia, ( after my noticing a small swelling in my pelvic area) They told me to wait and I was able to see someone in less than 20 minutes and they confirmed that it was a hernia( fortunately very small & no pain) Gave me a script for the surgeon & phone # , assured me that it was not life threatening, and I was able to set up an appointment with a general surgeon an hour later. read more

I contacted Dr. Mac's office for a friend who needed follow up after a motorcycle accident. I called on a Thursday and they were able to schedule the appointment for te following Monday. They then called me back within an hour that they had a cancellation for that afternoon. The office staff was extremely helpful and professional. The initial exam was completed by a resident, Nathan. He was thorough and explained everything to my friend, the patient. Dr. Mac followed up with his exam. Again very thorough and professional. He explained the consequences of the injuries, what to expect and what the patient needed to do. Follow up appointments were scheduled. The patient is covered under No Fault Insurance and the office had not problem with that arrangement. A major practice in Southampton declined to see the patient becuase of his insurance. I would highly recommend Dr. Mac and his medical practice. read more

I was a walking for a somewhat serious dog bite( which she didnt even ask why i was there) and she asked me to come back in a few hours(rudly might i add. i get it, they might have been busy, but honestly didnt look like it) so i said i was going to try another place, maybe i can get in sooner. and she made a snarky comment. people these days.
