Below is an email I have yet to receive a response to describing my experience at the office. Noemi, I'm sharing my experience with you because I'd want to know if I was the manager or owner of the doctor's office. After my visit, I was asked by the front desk when I was supposed to see the doctor again and they didn't know what prescription the doctor had called into my pharmacy. This feels backwards because typically the doctor communicates with his team when the patient should have a follow-up visit and the patient or his team receive a note with the prescriptions to be filled. I then had to wait until the front office communicated with the doctor to determine when my follow-up visit should be and I was told the prescriptions were put into the pharmacy. I picked up the prescription from the pharmacy; however, it didn't include the most important prescription which was for a skin pigmentation issue on my back that I not only discussed with the doctor's assistant before the doctor came in, but also with the doctor when he diagnosed it during my visit with him. Essentially, I have lighter skin pigmentation spots in the middle of my back that the doctor said was a common fungus typically caused from tropical climates. The doctor said you can treat it via a shampoo or cream and he said he'd prescribe me the cream so it'd be easier for me to apply on my back. I left a message and the doctor called me back today saying he doesn't remember any issues with my back and that it wasn't in his notes which I find to be concerning and unprofessional. I'm meant to have a follow-up visit in May to do a body scan check up for any other potential issues; however, I'm unsure why that wasn't taken care of during my first visit and I don't feel confident in the professionalism of the doctor's office, so I don't know if I'll be returning. Can someone please submit the prescription I was meant to get to heal my back and let me know when that has been taken care of so I can pick it up from my pharmacy? Thank you Ashley

They informed me that the doctor takes his time with each patient, which may be fine, but then don't make appointments every 20 minutes, make them every 45 minutes. When you call, they sound indifferent and bored you need to pry information out of staff. If you ask for refills or test results they act like you are a big intrusion. For example, they have no patient portal that you can log on and find test results. If you ask you you will see at your next appt you will be told Joanne but may see someone else. That's fine they are all good but consistency of care is good too. If you call a few times in a row to clarify something you may get a snarky remark like "yet again." It's as if you're bothering them by trying to take care of yourself. I would say the professionals act professional, the others are who they are. You overhear comments like they can't wait for summer people to leave and so on. Wait time is short and generally service smooth. There is a doctor associated with this practice but never seen him/ her. Never been given the chance to make appt. with them. Usually takes a few calls to get a message through hardly get a call back on results unless it's a ca. Screen. In person though is fine. This is a short term solution as I look for a full time physician where I really feel comfortable and welcomed.

I had lung cancer since 2014. I did surgery chemo and radiation. And in 2017 they said it was in my…read morespine.  In Nov 2021, I was in the hospital, they said I had blood clots. But the blood clot medication was not working. I had to be in the hospital on the IV for 3 days.  I couldn't move, drive, walk, I was in a wheel chair. Then they said my chemo stopped working. Then I started to wear all of the Photo Therapy patches you recommended. I did those every day faithfully.  I lived with my sister, because she was taking care of me. Now I take care of myself, I can walk, run, I can drive. I am able to do work around the house. And fully take care of myself. So I moved out of my sisters house. And a lot of my protocols that I was doing before, went by the wayside. I wasn't doing all the things I was doing in my therapy. And I started to feel something was off. So I remembered what I was doing before. And one thing was the patches. I started to wear them again, and have been wearing them for 2.5 weeks again. I have a lot more energy now. I was wearing patches for 3-4 month, in 2022. After that, in Nov 2022, they did X rays, and the doctor said that my lungs look better than 2021.  I have a girlfriend who is doing chemo and she said, I wish I did what you did, take my health into my own hands. And do all these alternative protocols.  I did chemo 4 times before and it didn't work. And it made me extremely exhausted.  My Chiropractor told me, you look like walking death. He thought I was going to die that year. And now I can run. I breathe better. I have more energy. I can drive, which is huge. I take care of myself. And my Chiropractor said I want to know everything you are doing. What I would say to a person who is curious but scared, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. The patches regenerate your stem cells. I haven't seen any products that can do that. That's what intrigued me because you need new stem cells all the time when you have cancer.
