At auto zone you can do it for free. When I mentioned this to him he started to tweak out saying well my machine is 6,000 dollars and theirs is only 50. Well guess what, I did take it to them and they narrowed it down to two things one of being what was actually wrong with the car. Next he charges me 30 for a gas cap. I get it you have to make money but 60 for the scan and 30 for the cap all together is robbery. Whenever I go to my guy he never charges for the scans and will actually work with you. This guy didn't like that I had said I was upset about the price and then he starts going off on me. You would think being a smaller shop you'll try to work with the community for a better experience yet I get charged dealership fees for a small business. I will not be returning and sticking to my guy who won't rip others off. I later called around a bunch of small businesses none of them charge close to 60 for a scan

D Their brake special included pads and rotors including labor for $150 per axle. ($10 more for suv) I called to make sure, only to be reassured that what I read was correct. I made an appoint for the next day and received prompt, professional and friendly service. Both vehicle were done that morning for a total of $620 dollars plus tax. I have saved over half of what I was quoted and I am very satisfied. If you are looking for auto mechanic work they are the ones to consider.

I asked at several garages about getting an inspection done, but they all told me it was too late in the day. I was driving down Grant Street around 5:00 PM, when I noticed there was an inspection sign on the Liberty Auto Plus shop. As I drove in I could see that they were closing down and getting ready to leave. I asked about an inspection anyway. The attendant asked if I could come back the next day. When I explained that it was the last day that I could get the car inspected, the man agreed to stay late and do the job. He did a thorough inspection, checking the entire car out. My car passed and didn't need any work. The man just charged me the standard fee and refused to let me give him anything for the inconvenience my late request caused him. Liberty did the job even though it meant that the attendant had to stay late for a guy who was not a regular customer. He did the inspection correctly and only would take the standard fee. These guys are good; they are honest and were willing to help out a stranger. Next time I need any work done on my car or want to buy a used car, I am going to this shop.

They are fun to drive when the roads are clear, which is when I test drove them a few times. I tested both the electric and the gas versions. The electric wont get you as far as I often need to go, so that ended up not an option for me. But they drive nicely. However, I can only recommend you do homework before considering these at all. The dealership is pleasant, and so beautiful. Makes the Honda and Toyota dealerships look rundown. But safety is the issue with a car, and the smart cars are not there yet
