New Image Emergency Restoration Services

New Image Emergency Restoration Services

New Image Restoration was hired for a fee of $1,000 plus tax to remediate a mold issue measuring 2'…read morex 1' x 2' x 1' located within the wooden structure above the bathroom ceiling (sheetrock). The contractor(s) from New Image Restoration removed and disposed of approx. 2' x 4' x 2' x 4' of the ceiling (sheetrock) that exhibited signs of mold, treated the exposed wood with a mold and mildew killer, identified the source of a leak, and recommended that I hire a plumber. I found the quality of the work to be satisfactory however, the identification of the leak was inaccurate, as no pipes were found to be leaking. The contractors were courteous and presented identification upon request before entering my home. Nevertheless, I consider the cost of the work particularly expensive for seniors given that it represents only (1) component of a (3) part job. Additionally, I was asked to sign a blank contract that stipulated a 50% charge, the cost was not explicitly detailed in the agreement. I had to inquire further to clarify this matter. Despite the fact that New Image Restoration was aware of my insurance company's $500 deductible, I was required to pay (2) both payments of $500 plus. Moreover, I began to receive multiple invoices totaling over $1,500 for services such as drywall repair, patchwork, priming, and painting, which were not performed by New Image Restoration or Super Steamer Carpet. It was also concerning to discover that New Image Restoration billed me through a subcontractor, Super Steamer Carpet, without prior notification regarding the involvement of subcontractors. Ultimately, I found it necessary to hire multiple contractors to complete the work on the ceiling mold issue. This experience has underscored the importance of inquiring about the entire scope of a project, including a comprehensive written description and a complete estimation of costs, accounting for any deductions.

Pretty responsive as far as generating the quote for a mold and asbestos remediation.read more

Thankfully, I contacted Gibellino Construction and spoke with directly with Gabe on that first phone call. He was helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. He immediately put my mind at ease. To say that the situation was challenging would be an understatement, but Gabe never wavered in dealing with the insurance company and the many vendors that were involved in the reconstruction of my home. Their work is impeccable, and Gabe spent many hours working on my case to ensure that everything was done to my specifications and within the allotted budget. He also worked tirelessly to incorporate some other renovation projects into the rebuild so that everything would be done on time. While I hope that no one reading this suffers a loss due to fire, flood or some other disaster, if you do, I highly recommend Gibellino Construction as one of your first phone calls! I will use them again should I have any other home renovation projects in the future.

Our home burning down was nothing compared to how miserable working with CRDN has been…read more In short: The vultures at this absolute grifter's paradise of a company will steal your belongings, deliver other people's used underwear to your home, destroy your items, and render your clothing unwearable. It is seriously as if they put out a want ad for the most incompetent staff possible, and paired them with a management team directed by a toddler. Some highlights from our experience are below. If your experience is anything like ours: They will charge you an obscene amount of money for "rush" service. When they charged us for it, they left our three year old without any of his belongings because they lost all of his things. We later found out that they just hadn't actually washed it. Super fun experience having the whole family recieve a special package of belongings after a house fire ... Except a very sad three year old. You'll be treated to their staff constantly complaining about their jobs and about the allegedly rampant nepotism in the organization. They will ABSOLUTELY charge you for things they never did, and they will charge you an unreasonable amount for it. You'll have to call and email them repeatedly to return for items they failed to pick up, and they will have the gall you bill you for those pickups. They will submit false claims to your insurance agent and they will do so without your knowledge or approval. I'm not kidding. This company is a legal liability; an absolute sham. The staff will blame management and other departments, and management will blame other companies or just outright lie or otherwise fail to respond to complaints. The electronics division has to be the most useless, fully unqualified, blundering excuse of a department in the tristate area. The few items they don't "forget" will be returned to you with soot and debris still on them. They took a days old gaming PC and returned it with soot still on the internal fans. The returned multiple items for a baby still covered in toxic substances. Staff will repeatedly and constantly complain and heavily suggest you have things listed as non-salvageable so they don't have to move it. Don't do it. They're committing insurance fraud because they're lazy, and you'll be the one who takes the hit. Our shirts and pants shrank multiple sizes in their care, logos were fully removed or frayed on sweaters, shoes are comically small after being returned. They will bill you for cleaning items they never cleaned, too. They charged us for a full cleaning of an electric guitar with the staff saying "I love guitars. I know so much about them and I enjoy breaking them down to clean them and putting them back together perfectly." Yeah, the staff didn't even loosen the strings and wipe under them. What a joke. The list goes on. It's as if CRDN is King Midas, but instead old gold everything they touch just turns to trash. Please don't sign with them. If you did, or if they were recommended by your insurance company, push back and get out of it.

This company provides horrible customer service. If you value timely, organized cleaning and…read morereturns, look elsewhere! For the price they charge, their service is unacceptable. From poor communication to outright lies and constant rescheduling, they made an already stressful insurance claim even worse. Do yourself a favor: stay away!

The service tech Ben was more concerned with me having one car in my driveway and another being parked in front of my house that was a loaner or my mom. I truly believe that he saw that and me having a home and decided to overcharge and incorrectly diagnose service resulting in me stuck with a monthly payment that accrues interest. There was no pipe collapsed as he noted and I was not provided the video evidence showing that. All I knew, being in my home for only two months is that water was backing up in my basement and after taking a shower or flushing the toilet, the water in the basement had to be removed from the basement sink one bucket at a time. When cleaning the pipe, Ben only removed some old fabric softener sheets. I was able to flush and run shower not seeing any water at that moment, but he noted it still was not fixed telling me to look at how low the water was in the pipe...later I found out that this is the same even after their thousands of dollars repair. I didn't know what to do and no where to turn. He actually said you cant have one issue without the other even though I saw no collapse pipe. Young and dumb...listening to a professional I thought because I did not know. During the entire pipe line replacement, no one communicated with me. If water would be turned off, turned back on, what I should do afterwards, nothing. It appears this company has a record of steering single women the wrong way for their own benefit. I'm glad the three other women I've seen that had similar experiences had a father or male figure to turn to avoid this. I would not recommend for women.
