He claimed he could expand both sides of my driveway and it would look like one even finished job. Well, it did not. Looks like a hot mess and clearly not as he promised. When he asked for payment, he somehow for got the original quote he had given me and added $300 additional to the cost of the job. My advice to others is to get his initial quote in writing - I did not and took his word that he would remember. I called and asked him to return and fix the mess and I haven't seen or heard from him since. It's been about a month and nothing from Mr Garcia. Next time I'll just call the real pros and just pay the cost instead of trying to work with these small local guys who really don't know what they're doing. I think they just get lucky in some cases and some people might get decent work from them, but it's probably 50/50 on what type of results you'll get.

While the primary work was mostly completed, the overall job felt rushed and lacked attention to detail. My property was left with noticeable damage, which I have documented with photos and sent to management. I understand that tree removal can involve some risk, but what was most disappointing was how this was handled or rather, not handled at all. At no point did the crew inform me that anything had been damaged. I only discovered the issues afterward, which came across as both unprofessional and avoidable. This lack of communication made the situation even more frustrating. In addition, several heavy items in my yard were moved during the process and not returned to their original positions, creating unnecessary inconvenience. There was also a very large branch that was cut and fell a few days later that was not removed during the work completed. This could have fallen on my small child or dog. These details may seem minor, but they reflect a larger issue: the job was completed in a sloppy and careless manner, without the level of thoroughness I expected. I did bring these concerns to management/owner (Matt) but the response I received was dismissive and did not show a genuine willingness to address the damage or take accountability. Offering to trim a damaged plant was not an acceptable resolution and then stating "it should help the plant" show lack on my concern. For the price paid, I expected a much higher standard of service and customer care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. There are many other companies to choose from and I would recommend picking a different one.

If you are in need of tree work, take a look around at most of the "big" named companies, and you will find quite a few bad reviews, and believe me, I checked. We had quite a few trees to take out, and one topped, most of which were either over a neighbor's house, or over our pool, fig tree, and other neighbors house, making the removal far more complicated than normal. I called, and one of the owners (brothers) came out the same day, and gave a very fair estimate. Made a deposit, and scheduled the work appointment. The day of the work they showed up on time with an entire crew, multiple heavy equipment, bobcats, 5 ton, and a chipper. They meant business. All of the crew were friendly, and took great care of our property. All were in hard hats, glasses, and hi-vis vests, which speaks to how seriously they take the job, and safety. The other owner was the Master tree work tech, and he clearly knew exactly what he was doing, including tying off large feeders/limbs before cutting, so they swung down, as opposed to falling and/or damaging the neighbors houses, our fig tree, or pool. The removed the very large stump and root mass, and cleaned up every square inch of our yards, front and rear, and with the exception of the missing trees, you couldn't even tell they had been there. This included placing heavy mats down over drainage inlets, and other areas in the yard to protect them while they worked. Probably one of the most professional aspects of the crew, is that they clearly knew what they were doing, and it appeared as if they have been doing it together, for quite a while. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and now that we have witnessed their work, and professionalism first hand, will make sure to pass them on to anyone who needs quality tree work done.

They showed up when they said they would, they had a crew of six show up and they knocked out all of the work in just under two hours.. the crew was super friendly and helpful and they did an even better job of the clean up after they did the work! I will always use them for all of my tree/landacaping needs!! I can't recommend them enough!! Also... I got six quotes to do the work - Golden Tree was one of the lowest, and they were able to do the work the quickest!!

I was flat out shocked when, a couple of days after I agreed to the very reasonable quote to have some stumps ground, the guys from Fine Tree Care came out and completed the job to perfection. As if this wasn't impressive enough service, Tim stopped by a couple of days later to make sure I was happy with the job. I'm not used to this level of competence, professionalism, service, and old-school courtesy. I was pleased to learn that Tim is a certified arborist, so I absolutely plan to get Fine Tree Care back over for some more delicate tree work. I absolutely, without reservation recommend Fine Tree Care.

About an hour after starting the job I was informed that he underbid the job and he would be "walking away". The reason is because he "didn't realize how big the trees were.".... WHAT? The trees which he , the owner, came to look at prior to giving me an estimate. This wasn't some new laborer who screwed up. It was the owner of the company. If this is what you do for a living why can't you properly assess the size and scope of a job? I read all the reviews online and they probably do decent work if you can get them to stay; but if you don't want to ask if they're charging you enough money I would suggest you look elsewhere.
