Don't get me wrong, food was very tasty. Good service, nice ambiance. However, the portion size on the pasta was ridiculous. I got the daily special to-go and it was similar sized. 100$ and I was still hungry

Small little place around from our hotel that delivered high quality service and food. We went out with clients and walked in and were seated by the window. Server was fantastic, super friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. I started with their seasonal manhattan cocktail and was blown away in terms of how tasty it was. We ordered oysters and clams for appetizers, and the claims that were topped with a pesto, cheese and breadcrumbs were amazing. I had the buttermilk pork chop and I have to say- that was the best pork chop I have had in my life. Perfectly cooked, flavourful with a nicely balanced sauce. I finished with their sticky toffee pudding that was presented well but was just okay. In all - everyone enjoyed their meal and it was a delicious evening. I can't wait to come back.

Great fish and chips! The locals steered us in the right direction. Near cruise port and well worth the visit. Really nice local business. Don't skip dessert!! We loved the bread pudding.

One of the nicest restaurants of many in this vicinity. At East Coast Bistro, I have had excellent fine-dining experiences coupled with delicious food. The fresh flowers at each table is a lovely touch. Every time I have had a meal here, I tried to have something new and each time, the food is exceptional. Everything is prepared fresh, but what's surprising is the cost is not astronomical and portion sizes are reasonable. If you're in the Maritimes, you definitely want to try their seafood. It's a must! Their starters, entrees, and dessert are all delicious. I am the type of person who usually skips dessert, because I always get too full at the end of a meal. Not at East Coast - dessert is not meant to be missed! Service is exceptional. I'm not sure if they know me here as I've only dropped in a few times, but one of the servers always has my dietary restrictions down pat. The other servers are attentive and willing to answer any questions I have. They're forthcoming with suggestions and I never leave unhappy. If you're driving, street parking is available but just be sure to put money in the machine.

Best meal I have had this year. Fish chowder was great. Gnocchi with scallops was amazing and my wife's burger and fries outstanding. Highly recommend.

I had a late lunch today at East Coast Bistro. It's burger week in Saint John and I ordered the Big Bistro Bacon Mac (with no lettuce or cheese). It was a delicious messy burger. The bun was really soft and the patty (cooked medium well) was juicy and delicious. I'd get it again. Because I focused on the burger and it was filling, I only had a couple French fries and they were good. The servers were friendly and pleasant. I'd go back.

The Saturday Bakery is an almost weekly routine. Sourdough bread loaf and roasted tomato soup are a must!

They no longer have lunch specials!! I had their Halloumi grilled with watermelon. Wish I had taken a picture because mine looked nothing like Bill K.'s. Cheese was 1/2 the size of his picture. It tasted delicious just wish I had gotten his plate, mine was small both cheese & watermelon sizes. I was also very surprised the cheese wasn't even warm. I'm not sure if the pre-grilled it or what. My husband had the most flat Diet Pepsi ever. Service was very nice, the gentleman who was waiting all the tables did a great job. We were allowed up on the observation deck but if we wanted to watch the 12 minute film we each had to pay $15.00

Didn't see as much as I hoped, but that's the thing with Mother Nature. But honestly, I loved this restaurant! The staff and the owner were super nice. As a lowkey One Piece fan, I loved that it's One Piece themed and named after The Baratie in One Piece. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced. I loved their $16 lunch special. $12/ cocktail. The ambiance of the restaurant/ the view was amazing. We even went up to their viewing platform free of charge since we're dine in patrons. But honestly, just the view in the restaurant alone was worth it. If I ever have to come back for work again, I will be back for sure. Recom
