RUN! He'll ask for a $100 deposit (in case you cancel on him at the last minute??) and tell you he's a Berkeley grad and therefore trustworthy?? And then he'll disappear for good. With your money. Disgusting. Shame on you, Kevin. I tried reaching out to you several times and you never responded. I suspect you're out of business now...figures. But remember Kevin, stuff like this will catch up to you. Karma. read more

First of all, this is a customer-oriented company; a rare find these days. They responded to my request for a quote promptly and politely and were able to come out to my home with 24 hours. This is a late review, but Kevin and his team helped me out big time in May! My dog got into some chicken bones in the garbage and had multiple accidents (fecal and throw up) on our pretty white carpet in both the living room and bedroom. I was out of town at the time, which caused me to be extremely stressed as I was worried about both my dog (obviously) and getting the stains out of our new carpet. Kevin came over AFTER HOURS as soon as possible, met with my boyfriend, and cleaned the carpet in both rooms to perfection! They were speedy, professional, and did a wonderful job. What's more, Kevin's prices were reasonable given my emergency situation. Will be using them again soon to get rid of some foot traffic on our carpet. Highly recommend! read more

Kevin provides friendly service, at a reasonable price, with a smile. Our place had difficult to remove stains on our rugs and upholstery the size of golf balls and softballs that we could not remove ourselves. Kevin's company picked up the phone yesterday and came over the next day. The only way he could have been faster was if he was lightning personified. After sifting through several yelp reviews, and ruling out other carpet and upholstery cleaners we came upon this business and breathed a sigh of relief. Getting a quote was easy and working out a final price was also easy and the results speak for themselves. Kevin and his workman worked quickly, tirelessly, and thoroughly. They were in and out of my house almost as if they were never there. Admittedly, I have an affinity for great deals, and this was a GREAT deal. Kevin also has an air of good feeling about him that draws you to want to work with him. I highly recommend calling and supporting this business. And we may be using them again in the future for sure! P.S. They can also help you move some furniture to get the cleaning done. read more

Fast call-back. Kevin was close so agreed to come right over. Ok, so as his CL ad stated, he charged more (a bunch more) for my really dirty carpet left by a renter. But BOY did it come clean. Saved me a bunch of time and $$s over replacing it. I'm very happy. Kevin, the owner is a really nice guy - support him. read more

WOW.... Is all that I can say. Company A which I do not care to mention here, left my carpet in shambles. East Bay Carpet to the rescue. They used a truck mounted machine. They were affordable and they used EMPOWERED WATER (PH Rinse extraction) to clean and restore my carpets. Nice guys shouldn't always finish last. read more

While pet sitting for a friend, I noticed a pet urine stain on my recently cleaned carpet. It was a Sunday and I knew I'd have a low probability of finding a professional carpet cleaner. I remembered Kevin doing a great job before and when I called, he answered the phone personally and was able to do a same day appointment. He did a great job and now I have an excellent carpet cleaning service on speed dial. read more

Kevin and his guys were extremely professional, amicable, prompt and hard working. Scheduling was a breeze-- I was able to talk to Kevin on the phone to arrange the details and he always called back within literally 5 minutes when I wasn't able to get in touch the first time. We were able to book the job for two days later, which I wasn't expecting but was very grateful for. Kevin worked with my partner and I to offer us a very competitive and affordable rate after we told him what we were looking for and what our budget was. Not only did Kevin and his guys clean our entire house for an amazing rate, they also cleaned our vintage van which was covered in heavily stained 30 year old upholstery and carpet. I actually called around before calling Kevin and found out most companies will not clean vehicles, but Kevin was up to the task and him and his team did a spectacular job. We were originally thinking of reupholstering and reflooring the van but after having it cleaned by Kevin's crew, it looks great the way it is. They've saved us a lot of headache, time and money we would've spent redoing the van's interior which we thought was pretty much helpless. After the job was done, we did a walk through of the house and van with Kevin and he was honest about certain kinds of stains that can not be removed like rust stains. He waited for us to inspect the house and vehicle and told us if there's anything we're unhappy with, he'd be happy to try his best to bring it up to par or work with us otherwise to make sure we're satisfied. We assured him we're happy with the work he and his team provided. All of the workers he brought were very polite and all around a pleasure to work with. Please consider supporting this local black-owned small business next time you need a carpet cleaning! read more
