It never feels generic or rushed everything we do has a purpose. One thing that really stands out is how organized and thoughtful she is. She created a clear, structured day-to-day plan for our sessions and even shared an Excel sheet so I can easily see and track what we're working on. Being able to visualize my progress keeps me motivated and accountable, and it shows how much she genuinely cares about helping me succeed. Her approach is incredible. There's absolutely no pressure or intimidation just steady encouragement, positivity, and motivation. She knows exactly when to push me and when to adjust, which makes every session both productive and enjoyable. We have fun, we laugh, but we also work hard going from lifting heavy to even heavier weights that I never imagined I would be able to do. I feel stronger both physically and mentally. On top of that the studio is not crowded. It's truly one-on-one, and the focus is completely on you. The entire team at Studio Flex is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The environment feels supportive, comfortable, and uplifting, which makes showing up something I genuinely look forward to. I'm so grateful to be training here and would highly recommend Gabrielle and Studio Flex to anyone looking for a supportive, motivating, and results-driven experience.

As a result, I had all but given up trying to reestablish a routine. My back has been an issue for decades and I thought that I'd tried everything - chiropractics, physical therapy, massage, acupuncture, accupressure ... you name it. I'd resolved to just live with the nearly constant discomfort and occasional debilitating spasms. However, Gabriele has changed my perspective by focusing on carefully building core strength while not aggravating other issues. She listened carefully to my problems, asked about my desired outcomes and she designs each workout specifically for my physiology and my state of progress. I can't say enough good things about her adaptive approach and positive energy!

This review is long overdue. I started my fitness journey 6 years ago and I've been in and out of…read morevarious gyms depending on where I live and where I work. I have to say out of all the gyms I've been to: FBBC, UFC, Planet Fitness, The Camp, and many other local family owned gyms, Concord fitness boot camp aka Fit Body Boot Camp concord has been the absolute best! I lost weight but the change was not just in appearance. I actually felt stronger and could notice the difference in my strength. My energy and endurance was like my teen days. The crazy part is appearance wise this gym has been the least impressive. But Virgil makes the small space functional and you really don't need much more than this. When I showed up for my first trial the location made me hesitant. Virgil's customer service was great and he made me feel welcomed. The other members were friendly and there were all ages and body types. I stayed and loved it. Everyone was extremely helpful and motivating. They all push you to finish your reps, to keep moving and not quit, and if you struggle they make you feel okay with modifying while teaching you ways to work on it until you can one day do what you're struggling with. It was hard but it seemed like within days my body learned how to handle doing sit ups and push ups. Another major part is nutrition. Virgil helped me with a shopping list and meal ideas. He is respectful but also doesn't sugar coat. With each weigh in he reminded me what I needed to do to stay on track. I also learned how to count calories. If I still lived in the area I would see about joining again. If I didn't give it 5 stars it is solely because of the cost. When I went it cost around by $300/month. Is it worth it? Yes. Is it affordable and feasible? No. I could not keep up going there as it was too much for my budget. Pictures for comparison of cheeks and chin when I first started in March to September

With reassurance from the owner (whose phone number was on Google), it was indeed open for business, I was excited to get moving for my Friday workout. I was introduced to the owner and other people who showed up for the class and I could tell they were regulars. The place looked pretty legit as you know I love legit gyms :-) I was asked to disinfect the bottom of my shoes as street shoes aren't allowed on the floor, since we laid on them for floor workouts. That made me feel better because I ain't tryna rest my head on a floor where people before me don't know where to walk sometimes and you don't know where they come from ahem, SF CITY STREETS!!! This was my first Bootcamp class in a long while so I was pretty thankful that Virgil (owner and trainer) allowed me to modify my workouts. It was a damn good sweat and I had great energy the rest of the day.

I have now been working with Rich and the PMPT crew for almost 2 years. When l started I couldn't…read more get up from the ground without effort. I labored through 2 minute "jog"/walk intervals. I was very unhappy with my health. My goal at that point was to some day do a triathlon. Some day . My last review was 6 mos into working through personal training. Since then I switched over to group training. I do at least one class a week. Well, I did achieve my triathlon goal. In August 2015 I did my first sprint triathlon. In October my first Olympic distance tri. In December my first half marathon. Then this past October I completed a half Ironman! Over this time I have not had any significant injuries. I have consistently been able to set higher goals and meet them. These changes happened because of the culture of fitness I was introduced to by PMPT. We've always focused on form and discipline. It's never been about higher weight, more reps, or any degree of competition. I learned the value of slow, incremental gains. Let me also preface that this is all completely new to me. I had never been an endurance athlete nor a gym head. My time with PMPT represents the most significant period of fitness in my life. Ive never done anything like this before and I know I would not have if PMPT hadn't been part of the shift in my culture. In March my first Marathon awaits. Then the full Ironman calls...someday. I know that PMPT will be part of getting me across the finish line.

The trainers are super approachable, friendly and excited about fitness. I love all the outdoor activities they offer such as the stair group, trail running and foundation. It's nice to have that community feel outside the gym. I have been going to see Rich for years and he keeps getting better and better. Classes usually start with a warm up, dynamic stretches, some cardio and or foundation. That takes about 7 minutes and the remainder of the class is dedicated to the workout, usually intervals, but he does switch it up quite a bit. If you are looking for longer periods of cardio I would try one of the classes offered on the weekends, such as the stair group....that's a killer workout. I love the variety of classes ranging from mobility and foundation to intense interval training and strength. This is a small gym and there no showers that are offered at the larger gyms, but it's not intimidating, they offer reasonable prices and everyone from the trainers to the members are super friendly. Give it a try!!

With that said, I really want to highlight how amazing and attentive Coach Alex was. She was incredibly supportive and helpful , even going as far as telling me that if she ever saw my name on the class roster again, she'd put together a workout that focused less on legs because of my disability. That level of awareness and care meant a lot. The front desk attendant was also incredibly sweet. Overall, it was such an amazing experience. The workout itself was fantastic, and I genuinely cannot wait to go back when I'm able to reactivate my membership. Highly recommend!

Ya'll this place will get you in shape in no time. I tried the Lagree class. The instructor was so nice and allowed me to switch over from the Climb x Boot Camp class when I showed up. I was also able to purchase a pair of grippy socks onsite for about $10. The music was good, the lingo will take sometime to learn, but I appreciated the instructor coaching me and helping to position me in the right position, and gave me words of encouragement. There was only 7-8 ppl in the class so I wonder what it's like when it's full. I appreciated the work out bc it challenged me to push myself just a bit more. I had a good sweat and worked my upper body to the point where my arms were going to give out on me, half way through but I kept pushing just a little more. I appreciated that there was no pushy sales person trying to get me to purchase a membership. Now I can give it sometime and a proper think. Everyone was pleasant and professional from the staff to the members in the room. Nicolette was subbing from Danville and she was a great instructor. Provided me with a quick history about how Lagree was established. I definitely hope to come back and try the climber/boot camp class.
