Yesterday I underwent TPI and was feeling terribly stiff and achy. I searched for a place to go and landed on New You (they were the only place with availability). I arrived and explained that I needed more than the average 30 minute chair massage, and combined for 45 minutes. I was under the care of Jessica (or Jessia) and I almost cried. This skillful masseuse instinctively knew that I needed a very strong and deep massage. And she ended with my neck. I whined when it was finished because I had never felt so good. And once I sat up she stood behind me and messaged my neck for another couple of minutes. I have no idea if that is typical, or she knew the sheer level of arthritis and muscular pain I walked in with. Relaxing massages are great but that's not what I need, and I didn't even have to explain that. She was so lovely and skillful. We were put into a room. My Masseuse left the room for 10 mins and a different person came and finished my massage. The person massaging my wife left the room a total of 5 times. So we're touching our phones and then massaging our face...I know she didn't have anyone up front but thats not our problem, we paid for a service and we are being short changed. so we missed sections of massages due to our masseuses coming and going, leaving the door open with our bodies exposes. all said in done when it came time to pay the person in charged pressured us for tips asking how much of a tip we wanted to leave, and giving us her suggestion of $20 each.
