Wow, love this place! Took my 7 mo old Cane Corso pup in to get her nails trimmed and they were great! I couldn't believe how quickly they trimmed and filed her nails with the dremel tool. It took maybe 5 minutes! The girls in here couldn't be friendlier and treat your pet like their own! My pup isn't aggressive with her nails, she's just too much for me to do on my own. It was nothing for them and they handled her with ease, even being 75 lbs! The service was very fairly priced in my opinion, $20 for a walk-in service and you're out the door in minutes. Last week I had my dog Bella groomed. Bella is 4 years old and 14 pounds. The appointment was scheduled for 8 am, the groomer called about 10 minutes before to let us know she was running late. That's fine - things happen. I let the groomer know Bella is not a fan of being groomed. When I went to pick her up, she looked great. I asked how it went; and nothing unusual was stated. I've had Bella groomed at other locations before. But, when I got home, I noticed cuts by her ear and when she rolled over there were what looks like razor burns all over her belly and her nipple was bleeding. Bella even snapped at us if we touched her belly - unusual behavior for her and behavior that I do not want repeated or learned. I called and spoke to a receptionist to let them know I was upset and wanted to know what happened. If she's too difficult, you should stop and I will come get her. They promised they would call back later that day or the next. Have not heard from them, and it's been almost a week. This experience is very frustrating. And I feel terrible I put her through this experience. read more

So so so pleased with the staff, store, and grooming department at EarthWise Pets! So long as I'm in Jax Beach I won't be taking my sweet girl to get groomed or buy food anywhere else! We just got our pup Thea from a shelter a little over a week ago. She's super shy and nervous about going places so I knew it was going to be hard to get her groomed the first time. Whitney was our groomer and she came out to meet Thea and immediately showed her to love to make her feel welcomed. I came in about 2 weeks prior to just scope out the place before I even picked up our Thea from the shelter. Once I made the grooming appointment online, I received a call to confirm details of what I wanted done since I was a new costumer. And the lady I spoke to (can't remember her name) remembered me coming in talking about my new pup! The above and beyond customer service makes or breaks a business and EarthWise is certainty making it. When we picked Thea up they told us how sweet she was and how well she did during her grooming. I do not normally write reviews but I felt I needed to. I called the store to let them know I would be about 10 minutes late for my grooming appointment for my Yorky and they immediately told me that there would be a Late Fee for being over 10 minutes late. Even my own doctors do not charge unless you miss an appointment completely and they give you at least 15 minutes leeway! I rushed to get there through traffic And when I arrived they told me they canceled my appointment and I would have to reschedule. Next time, I will go to a true groomer, not a dog and cat supply store that also does grooming. read more

We have two Chihuahuas and a golden doodle. It's really hard to find somebody who can do the cut on a golden doodle properly. Earth wise does a really good job. There are at Jacksonville beach in the shopping center just down a little bit from Home Depot. We make a reservation with them and take the dog by and couple hours later they call us. Store is clean. The greeting staff are excellent. The manager very good. The problem was the groomer. She had a attitude and was taking it out on my dog. My dog is 14 years old and has hip issues. Told them to be careful and gentle with her. I was standing behind the store shelves so my dog would not see me. The groomer keep jerking my dog into position to trim her. My dog fell off the table, hung by the strap and was choking. The groomer took absolutely too long to help her back on the table. They charged 100 to bath and trimmed her. Very disappointed!! Almost in tears when I picked my dog up because they cut so much hair off after discussing that I wanted to keep his hair. I requested to have his feet, ears, and butt trimmed, nails cut and they could touch up his underbelly, but wanted to keep his hair. He didn't even look like the same doggy. All I received was a we are sorry. I requested to speak to the groomer to find out the disconnect and basically was told I should have been more specific, but we're sorry for the miscommunication. I got charged full price for the wrong services. Highly upset! The groomer seem to do her job well, but first priority is listening to your customers! read more

I called to find out when a former friend was going to be there tomorrow so I could come in and ask her some cat stuff since something happened to my cat and I have always trusted her opinion. Well she checked the caller id to see the number and than had the manager call me and leave me a voicemail stating I was not allowed in that store ever at all. So with that fact and the fact I needed some great advice and help I will be telling lots of people to avoid this place like the plague. this review will also go on google and yelp too. I have never been in this place and was also going to look around and get something for my moms dog too but as you said I am not allowed in a store I have never been in and FYI you have to have Jax Beach Police issue a trespassing paper and it has to be given to the person while they are in the store. Telling someone they can't ever come in is against the law. You have to have a trespassing warrant issued. read more

Such a wonderful store! I took my 100lb husky to EarthWise to use their self-service wash stationer the first time and the visit was terrific. I was looking for a store that has a self service wash station because I got tired of being exhausted after cleaning up my three huskies fur in my own bathroom. Earthwise self-service wash station was really awesome. The sales associate walked me through all the wonderful tools available for use including: shampoo and rinse system, extra shampoo, towels, blower, and scent spray. The sales associate was really nice and checked on me if I needed any help. My overall experience here was wonderful, will definitely be back! read more

This is a very classy store with all the lastest in chew toys and highend pet food. I really love to take my little sheltie mix there to wash her in the self service dog wash area. They have everything you need to wash your dog and a ramp for larger dogs to get into the wash basin. I wish I would have had something like this when I had Golden Retrievers. Before you leave they will spoil your dog with all kinds of treats. She is so happy before she leaves she has amost forgotten she just got a bath. read more

This place is like a Nirvana for pets and their owners. They have everything from upscale doggy treats, assorted pets foods, to CBD products. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The self wash is something I've never seen before and intent on trying. We had our beautiful Australian Shepherd groomed here recently. I got there early to take a look around and was very impressed with the cleanliness and variety of pet products. The only issue I had was the grooming (and why I only gave it a 3 stars). I asked the groomer for a clean up. I wanted him bathed and his hair trimmed. I supposed I should have been more specific as to how I wanted my dog groomed. The groomer took a lot of hair off. She used a clipper/trimmer and you can see the choppiness of the groom. She cut him down to his undercoat. She also removed his mane. Why would anyone think this application would be attractive to any dog especially an Aussie is beyond me. My only consolation is that it will grow back. I am taking advantage of the shortness of his fur to do a good groom of his under coat. I will return to try the self wash and to buy some of their awesome specialty products but NEVER have him groomed there again. To be fair the store manager did apologize and gifted my pup an awesome bully stick with he loved. read more
