I preferred a Saturday appointment and their first available was about 2 weeks away but it's expected since it is a Saturday appointment. Andrea asked what kind of cut I'd like and I told her I'd like a mini schnauzer cut but just a little shorter because my dogs fur grows quickly. 3 hours later my dog was ready and I couldn't be more pleased with his cut! Do not go here! Took my Austrailian labradoodle in for full grooming. She did have some mats in her armpit and leg joint areas but they said they would work their tricks and would call me with any questions.They scalped her! There were no mats on her back but they cut it to 1/8-1/4 inch and shaved armpit and leg joint areas! They even shaved her tail leaving a 2" poof on the end! She looks pitiful, ridiculous and COLD. She wouldn't eat for two days. Of course they had me pay BEFORE they brought her out to me! I told them we were there for 5 weeks while my husband was receiving radiation at Mayo, so I guess they thought I would not be back so they would let someone cut her that did not know what they were doing. Went there today. My dogs look amazing. I can only describe it as they didn't just have a groomer they had a stylist. Best hair cuts ever !!! Also, they usually come home acting traumatized after a grooming appointment. After coming home from fluffy cuts they were happy and playing. Makes me know they were well cared for since we all know we hate leaving our animals at the groomers for endless hours. I can tell the dogs had a great experience. I visited Fluffy Cuts to check the cleanliness and see where the dogs are kept when they were not being groomed. The owner showed me little rooms the dog would be, no two dogs in a room. Impressive. I made an appointment, dropped my Shitzu off. When I went to pick up, she was in a cage, hair on ears cut soooo short, long hair spots over the body, toenails were not clipped. Sad. Will not go back. $58 plus tip! To answer your reply: When I visited the business, no one told me I had a choice of a room or cage! No one! I was told each dog had a room. Concerning the ear infection, I told the person when I picked up, she had an ear infection, and I told that person she had a prescription. No reason to cut all the hair off of the ears of a shitzu, no excuse. This all cost me $68. read more

I love Fluffy Cuts! My Yorkie Winston was in desperate need of a groom. My boyfriend's parents just got their shih tzu groomed here and he looked amazing. Seeing as how we were far away from home I decided to give them a chance. I am so glad I did. Andrea is awesome. I usually don't like him cut really short but she listened to me and gave him a really great cut and trimmed up his face perfectly. She was also quick, I dropped him off and an hour later picked him up. The price was very reasonable, $40 for a full groom/cut plus I used the yelp coupon and got $5 off. I am just coming off of a really bad experience with a highly rated groomer in the area. My dog was kept in a play pen prior and was placed in his own private pen open completion of his haircut. They discussed with me his behavior all during the visit and have shown true transparency. I appreciate the approach they take to animals and their owners. I passed Fluffy Cuts a few times and when my dog was due again for a grooming I decided to give them a shot. Best. Decision. Ever. 1) I waited until last minute to book it and they were very accommodating. 2) my dog had the best groom he's had in about 5+ years - honestly. 3) they cost less than going to the groomer that gave unsatisfactory grooms. I just picked up my Maltese after getting him groomed. I am completely blown away by the high level of attention to detail they have. Customer service is also off the charts. They answer their phone right away and get you in even with short notice. They had my dog done in less than two hours. Be very careful leaving your pets here. They advertise limited cage time which means the dogs are allowed to roam free and unsupervised resulting in potentially dangerous escape and dog fighting situations. This is exactly what happened to our dog. He got into a fight with another dog and they tried to blame it on him just because he was a pit bull. Went as far as to declare him a dangerous dog with Jax Beach. Unbelievable when you consider no one witnessed how the dog fight started because all the dogs were alone in the room. We had to hire an attorney and the appellate judge in Jacksonville reversed the Jax Beach magistrates decision and sided with us. The Jax Beach magistrate was an idiot. Neither a real judge nor a lawyer. The owner became eradict and unhinged and acted like lunatic on the phone. He was not reasonable and declared that he should have known better that to trust pit bulls which he declared a dangerous breed and never to be trusted. We ended up settling with his insurance company. If you love your pit bull or other "Bully" related breed, you will steer clear of this place. They put up a good front initially but show their true colors when any issues arise. read more

Terrible! Nightmare!! I tell all my friends who own pets to stay away from this place!! I brought my little Oscar to get groomed and he came home violently ill and vomiting everywhere. He was in perfect health prior to his visit at Fluffy's but when I went to pick him up I saw he looked different, too quiet and not his usual self. Then I took a step closer and saw that he was sitting in a pool of vomit and I was immediately alarmed and demanded that they tell me what the fed him but no one knew anything! He threw up the entire way back home and refused to eat or drink for more than a week. I had to rush my dog to pet clinic not once but TWICE for IV fluids and X-rays! The veterinarian said the lining of his stomach was irritated by something he ingested (which was what I suspected). I called Fluffy's in an angry rage and demanded an explanation but no one, even the owner, would tell me what happened and I wasn't even offered an apology or an offer to pay for vets bill which cost me several hundred dollars. I am telling you, If you care for your pet and their well being, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO GET GROOMED AT FLUFFY'S!! read more
