For the most part this location is on top of their game, especially since they are located in a high-trafficked lobby at Equinox Weho. This is by go-to location since I typically will purchase a smoothie after a workout. I'm a regular and many of the employees working the smoothie bar are familiar with me. I have to say, today was a disappointing experience. They have an employee who clearly behaves like customers are an convenience. He's distracted by other things around him, is not communicative at the register and doesn't bother to do simple things like ask if I need anything else. He basically transacts and treats you like you're in the way of him being his good looking self. From a description standpoint he has a sleeve of tattoos. This should be fixed. read more

I've only been to earth Bar West Ho twice &both times I had a bad experience.. For one, staff cold & snotty. They stand behind the counter like they be bothered.. just punching the clock! My first smoothie I asked them to swap banana for Kale bc I can't have bananas. She said no problem we'll do it. After a long wait they finally called out my Drink order and it came with extra banana! It was so thick & gross I couldn't even drink it! I lnow it was intentional too. Stopped into today thinking I would give them a second chance; which was a mistake. Ordered my smoothie, waited forever, and someone walked off with my drink, and I got someone else's. When i brought it back & explained the mix up, she gave me the third degree like I was a criminal or something. Then she asked if it came from their store. I come here almost every time after my SoulCycle class, and I look forward to it! My go-to is the Chocolate Supreme, which satisfies my sweet tooth and fills me up. The food options here are minimal, especially for vegetarians like me, but they do have a small refrigerated area and some protein bars if you want to grab a quick snack. If you're ravenous, their Pad Thai is good. Prices aren't terrible. Smoothies are usually about $6.50 and portions are big. I love coming to EarthBar! read more

I had bad service at Earthbar the other day, and I shared my experience here on Yelp. I was pleasantly surprised I received a private msg almost immediately from a manager of the establishment. He apologized for my bad experience, and invited me back at his expense, saying he'd like to send me a free smoothie coupon in the mail. And sure enough I received my coupon a day later. I plan on using it, and trying out Earthbar again. Now I give them 3 stars for their urgency in correcting the matter. Thank you Earthbar. I've only been to this location, and I've only been once, as of posting this review. LOCATION: It's in a little center near on Sunset. It was kind of hard to find because the center was tucked in, but at least it was nice and clean. One thing to note though is that this Earthbar is located right next to an Equinox (gym), and there's no door in between, so people getting done with their workouts often just come in right from there. At least it's convenient for them, and probably helps a lot with Earthbar's business). 3/5 ATMOSPHERE: It just looks like a stereotypical juice bar in there, most similar to how a Jamba Juice would look. 3/5 SELECTION: They sell a variety of juices, smoothies, and they have acai bowls too. 3/5 WHAT I GOT: I went there specifically for an acai bowl because my friend said they were horrible, but me, being the acai bowl connoisseur I am, had to try it for myself. And after looking at Yelp reviews and pictures, I got the feel that they were actually good, and they looked like they were a good size. So I went there, and ordered the one option for acai bowls they have, and then the girl tells me they're out of granola and didn't even act like it was a big deal or at least say sorry. But I didn't go there for nothing, so I just ordered it (big mistake -- I should've just tried one of their simpler smoothies or juices, and tried the acai bowl the next time). So I got my pathetic acai bowl, which was a good size, but it tasted just like they blended an acai packet with a cup of hemp milk. It was not thick enough and was more like a smoothie. I mean, I guess it tasted okay, but maybe they need to cut back on the liquid, and add some frozen berries into the mix. Plus the banana on top was not ripe and the strawberries weren't good either. And then there was no granola -- like how do you run out of granola if you sell acai bowls that come with granola -- and it was in the middle of the day too! I don't understand. Anyways, granola is a must for acai bowls (I don't know why I went ahead and ordered it without it), so this bowl was pathetic. This all said, I still kind of want to go back and try it with granola and see if it's any better lolzzz. 2/5 SERVICE: They really need to make sure they're properly stocked, and not act like it's no big deal -- like I said, the girl didn't even say sorry, nor did she give me a discount because it was missing a topping .. And when I got my bowl, they didn't even give me a spoon, and because I didn't realize it at first, I had to go back to the counter and call someone over to get me one because I didn't see them out anywhere, up for grabs. 1/5 read more

Generally I frequent the Earth Bar on Santa Monica Blvd, where the staff are unbelievably friendly and knowledgable! This morning, I decided to mix up my routine and hit the Earth Bar inside Equinox after Soul Cycle. There were two men working behind the bar, and only three people waiting on smoothies. One guy had already ordered, I placed my order then the girl behind me placed hers. The man making the smoothies was not engaging and came across as though I was a disturbance to him. He placed a smoothie on the bar and it looked like my usual. When I asked if it was mine, since there was no customer name or smoothie name announced, he glared at me and said no. It was for the girl who placed her order after me. Once my flax-master, extra thick with cacao nibs was ready, I tasted it as I was walking out. It was not extra thick and tasted like ingredients were missing. It wasn't good. I walked back inside and asked the guy at the register if this Earth Bar was different than the others because how contrasting and lousy this smoothie tasted compared to what it usually tastes like. He said no, they all offer the same menus. He then offered to make me another smoothie. The guy who made the smoothie the first time just glared at me. Despite the offer to make another smoothie, the second one was worse than the first. A bad smoothie is not the end of the world and neither is someone having a bad morning and taking it out on me. This just means that this particular Earth Bar will no longer receive my $11 dollar daily smoothie business. read more
