Aqua Jett Pool and Spa

This is a great company! Steve, the owner, is a great guy and is always super helpful. I've been…read morea customer for the past 20 years and have never had a problem with Aqua Jet. Their pool service and products are excellent and their prices are reasonable. My family and I highly recommend Aqua Jet!!!

My elderly parents have, unfortunately, been 30 year customers for care of their in ground pool. Over the years it has become harder for them to do the physical openings and closings, so in addition to maintenance, they added opening and closing to the services from Aqua Jet. This proved to be a huge mistake. Our family spent significant money on the pool in the last two years, including a new pump and a heater. I hired a close friend general contractor to advise us and do the install, no problem, except of course for Steve who, when he discovered this seemed more focused on who did the job and why we didn't use him as a vendor. Boy am i glad we dodged that bullet. Last fall Aqua Jet came to close the pool and took apart the filter as usual. At the time we mentioned removing the diving board and were told this would be no problem, and it was agreed verbally that it would be done at the spring opening. Well, spring rolled around and Aqua Jet showed up to open the pool, but the workers said they knew nothing about the removal of the diving board. My father ended up contacting and subsequently arguing with Steve, who had "no recollection" of any such conversation. Finally they did it, it took all of 10 minutes. Then things got worse. There was a problem with the filter, and the pool was continuously getting a fine black grit in it. We had water tested, the pumps recalibrated, nothing fixed it. Finally it was determined that during the fall filter disassemble a piece had been damaged. My father brought it over to speak to Steve about how to move forward. Instead of being willing to work with a customer of 30 YEARS, Steve told my 84 yr old father it was his fault, that he (my father) had broken it somehow, that it was an electrical problem (not true) and that we were too much trouble as customers and he didn't want our business. He even went so far as to yell and CURSE at my elderly father in his store! Steve you should be ashamed of yourself treating ANYONE this way, let alone a long time customer and senior citizen. My parents contacted Shore Pools & Services Inc and they were as pleasant as could be, responsive and helpful, COURTEOUS!!! Just check out all their 5 star reviews compared to Aqua jet's numerous 1 star reviews. Unless you like being a 30 yr customer and being abused and denigrated, take your business elsewhere.

WE GOT ROBBED! We…read morehad a minor problem with our air conditioning. The technician that showed up (Eric) told us it was an easy fix and the part was not expensive ( a capacitor) about $40. I said GREAT, but then he said it was still a very expensive job. I asked him why and he mumbled something about overhead and cost to do business. He offered us a one year warranty on a capacitor or a 5 year warranty on a different capacitor. One was $650 the other was $850. By the time he got done we had a $967 bill for a job that averages $200. Look it up, and avoid this predatory company at all costs. Im pretty sure we were taken advantage of because of our extreme age and the fact we needed the air conditioning to survive.

Because the "salesperson" ordered the wrong size boiler Jim was honest and upfront about it being difficult to complete in the promised time frame. But he and all the installers worked their butts off to get it completed in 1 and 1/2 days after thinking it could take up to 3. I cannot say enough about the install team. Amazing professional guys who went above and beyond to complete our job. The "salesperson" on the other hand kept telling me how he's been doing this for 14yrs but yet ordered the wrong boiler and also did not inform the install team about the difficult access. Overall, extremely happy with the install team not so much with the "salesperson".

Our plumber, Pedro, was so nice and professional. I forgot to clear under the sink and he kindly did it for me and cleaned up the mess afterwards. He was efficient and tidy while snaking the sink. From approximately 2023 through 2026, I was repeatedly told my pipes were clear or that there was no major issue. Now I am being told I may need more than $10,000 in pipe repairs. That raises serious questions about the accuracy of the earlier inspections, especially where camera inspections were represented as having been performed. Roto-Rooter has also discussed reimbursement related to prior services, which only increases my concern about whether those inspections were properly completed or documented. I have requested my full service records, technician notes, camera footage, inspection reports, and an explanation for why the current diagnosis is so different from what I was previously told. I am getting an independent second opinion before authorizing any major repair. For a long-time customer, this has been extremely disappointing and has seriously damaged my trust in the company.
