I submitted an application for my daughter for the year 2023-24 and never got a call from the staff as I was told they would after reviewing my application. I didn't make a big deal because my daughter was only 3. I fill out another application this year 2024-25 and didn't heard anything for months so I decided to go to the district only to hear that I needed to submit some documents "again" so I did. Weeks later I call and was told that everything was good with my application and documentation and just needed to wait for someone to call me. I waited 3 weeks and no call, so I called back and was told that I didn't qualify for the full time program and I needed to submit additional income!!! and that they actually still haven't gotten to my application because they're working on applications received prior to mine!!! WTH.... Why are they so unorganized??? at this point I don't know what to do. I'm so disappointed and not to mention that the only two options of school are on the other side of the lake. I grew up through this school district from elementary to high school. I graduated from Elsinore High School and had a wonderful experience. When going back to Elsinore to visit, everyone there still knows and greets me. It is a small town feeling and its the best. As far as Elsinore High School goes.....Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger!

A few days a week, they do 100 mile club runs in the morning. It promotes physical activities for the children and also the parents, since they're allowed to participate as well. There could be a better process to picking up the kids, but this is more for the parents than for the school. Some people need to learn how to take turns going into the school for children pick up.

Social aggression in the class was happening and my daughter was suddenly refusing to go to school. I started paying close attention to the group chat the girls had going and quickly realized there was a lot of exclusion and bullying happening. I took screen shots of the girls' chats and the teachers messages she had with a parent that another mom had sent me. I was polite, respectful, and very patient. I was promised a confrontation with the girls, coaching sessions, etc. however, weeks went by and although they kept promising interventions, which I was very accommodating and supportive of for everyone involved, they quickly went silent. they swept it under the rug. I ended up having to pull my daughter out of the classroom. I had tried to approach the teacher, Miss G, and she was rude, dismissive, and accusatory of my daughter being the culprit (mind you, this is one girl up against about 6). I had recorded this conversation as well. The principle was nice and "I'm a christian" to my face, but she did nothing about the behavior and never reached out- even after my daughter was pulled from the school. Don't send your kids here, they seem to favor the majority of the minority.

IMO…read morea student will get out of school as much as they put into it and how much the parents do their jobs by making sure their kids do their homework and being actively involved on what's going on with them in and out of the class. With that said I had two sons go through William Collier. My youngest just promoted from 5th grade and is on to middle school. My 13 year old who is entering the 8th grade went preschool through 5th grade and my 10 year old who just promoted to 6th grade went K through 5th. Both my sons really liked WCE. My experience through the years is the front office we're always kind, helpful and friendly. And all the teachers they had seemed to always care for the students. Maybe I'm being a little sentimental but I'm going to miss having a child attending WCE. Thank you for all the fond memories. So...... IF you're one of those parents who just expect to drop their kids off and their kids get straight A's then maybe a private school is more your thing.
