Warranty for paint job lasted just long enough for the old paint to start blistering through the roof. I know it's not a super high quality paint job, but I've had 3 vehicles painted here and Jorge wouldn't back up this work or his word. Very disappointing. Had a minor incident (car got keyed , front to back) went by got a quote for $600+/- to paint whole side which at the time I thought wasn't necessary and probably to expensive- well was I wrong !! Got 2 additional quotes from other shops and they ranged from $1800 - $3400 which made my original quote of $600 very enticing. Now my caveat as to why 4 stars instead of 5 - my car is a 2008 Toyota Rav4 which is a beat around town go-for , and that's the paint job I got - not fancy - not 100%match existing- no frills paint job ! . If I had a luxury car and I was a perfectionist I probably would have gone somewhere else - but for a blue collar paint job ? This place is great ! read more

I had both of my vehicles (a '90 Corolla and a '93 Dodge Ram truck) completely repainted at Earl Scheib. They beat the competition's quotes by miles, and did an excellent job with both of my vehicles. The Corolla needed quite a few dents and dings fixed, and there were a couple of those on the truck as well. They did excellent work with that - can't tell there was ever a problem now. To give you an idea of how much I like these guys, I live 350 miles away from them and still take my vehicles there. They're great, and they've saved me a bunch of money. Update - 06/26/2016 - In the 2 1/2 years since I got these vehicles repainted I had to go back twice with the Toyota because I can't seem to stop dinging the the poor thing up. The first time I backed into a cyclone fence and gouged the right rear quarter panel. The second time I hit someone's bumper which had fallen off of their car on the freeway. No fault of my own on that one, a big rig had pulled in front of me and then straddled the bumper which was in the middle of the lane - I never saw it coming. Then my cable chains broke and scared up the front fender. But Jorge and the guys at Earl Scheib made it all look like new again for a very reasonable price. And even though there is now new paint and 2 1/2 year old paint on the car, I can't tell the difference. It's been holding up quite well. Lloyd, who I had dealt with originally in getting the work done, advised me to wax the vehicles twice a year to make the paint last as long as possible, and I have done that each year, so maybe that has helped. I was deciding between this place and one other very popular body shop in the same city. Llyod made the decision a no-brainer -- he offered me the best price for a paint job AND was going to have my car back to me a day before the other place would. He was super professional, friendly and made the process as painless as possible. He didn't even require I make an appointment, just told me to bring the car by when I could. My paint job turned out absolutely flawless...everyone who has seen it says it looks like a brand new car. The best part? It was the cheapest of ANY body shop around. I had 4 fiberglass vacuums that needed to be patched and painted a bright sunny yellow for my carwash. I called around, but didn't want to pay $2000 - $3000 for the job, or wait a month for them to start the job. Jorge at Earl Scheib was able to paint them within a couple days. After getting several quotes from customer service representatives offering me latte and snacks. It was nice to talk with the actual operator who in this case was also the manager. Jorge knew what he was looking at and gave me the price off the top of his head. Other quotes literally had Misc. material quotes exceeding $200 work that cost me $650 from here. This was not done under insurance, but if it was keep in mind one way or another you pay for it. Final quality was as good as any from the expensive shops. Worst service I've ever received and horrible paint and body work. Got paint on the inside of my new car and left bodywork unfinished and cracked paint the day after I picked up. One of his workers got paint on the inside of my car and they used it to drive around before I picked up. Worst service I've ever had, was very respectful and tried to work it out with him for them to just be disrespectful and not take responsibility. If you want a half done worse than maaco paint job and someone to ruin your car interior then I would say contact them for an estimate. Don't cut corners stick with caliper or someone who will actually do good work. read more

After going to two other companies to try and get my 2011 Sonata bumper looking good again and receiving horrible results, I was offered Lloyd's number by a Hyundai parts company employee. I called Lloyd and was given an excellent quote over the phone for a full paint job on the rear bumper. I dropped my car off at 1pm on Monday and got a call at 9am the next morning to tell me the job was complete. My bumper looks as good as new and I'm a happy customer. They appear to do quality work however to paint my car after I have completely dismantled it so they do not have to tape anything off for painting the cost was still $3800. I'm not exactly sure what they would do that would cost that much. I'm painting it myself for $500 in materials. read more

I have a 91' pickup truck, our agreement was to fix up all the body work with premium paint. Sadly all the bodywork wasn't done correctly for what we agreed for. it seemed like it wasn't sand down correctly and no primer at all, it was like they just painted the car and barely fixed the dents. The paint looks good, but they didn't put the three layer paint we agreed on. it was like just one layer of paint with clear coat and again no primer at all. the reason why I know is because I took it to another body and paint shop and they told me and showed me what they had done, And they even missed a spot. Total was 1020.00 total for fixing up the dents , body work with premium paint that I didn't even get. I am very disappointed and I never will return or recommend to anyone. read more

this is the worst paint shop I have ever had the misfortunate to do business with. un professional in manner and in service. sand dust all on the inside of car they used no cover for floors nor for seats. they took off a front hood cowl and threw it in the back seat instead of the trunk, dirt and mud all over cowl, therefore, got all over back seat.missed spots on hood not painted, overcharged. just can't emphasize how awful my 2005 Toyota Prius looked. this place is not a place you should take your car to be painted there.i took my car in and wrong info and detail was passed to the painter.i wanted a different color but when i went back they painted the same color.they repainted to the color i want in a rush which took only two day.the paint starting to chip and you can see the original color that they was supposed to sand before painting like they just painted over.its not what i paid for.so if you decide to take it there than good luck. read more
