The head dentist is a little off, and the man who did my normal cleanings cared more about that was on the TV, rather than my teeth lol. They don't even floss, which I felt was very weird. I just got new insurance and they had called me about my upcoming appointment. When I told them I had a new provider, the woman at the front desk just hung up the phone. I saw Dr. Rajeev Trikha and he was kind and personally did my dental cleaning. There is a TV in the waiting room and inside the dental cleaning suite so you won't be bored if there's a wait for the provider. On my way out, they gave me a nice care package that included a cute teeth themed bag, toothpaste, toothbrush and floss.

The whole team is thoughtful, GENTLE, consultative, and kind. Dr. Hasan is knowledgeable, smart, and has fantastic bedside manner. My husband and I have had great dental work done, and the hygienists have been fabulous. Rarely ever any discomfort or pain, and if I've called out that it's painful, they immediately do what they can to make sure I'm comfortable. Even recently, my 2 year old chipped his teeth and we got him in to Dr. Hasan pretty quickly. She eased our worry (the parents) with a calm and light hearted approach, to an easy-fix situation. She helped to keep my child comfortable while she filed down a sharp tooth, and he did not cry or show any signs of fear - she and her hygienist kept him happy and smiling the whole time. I wasted insurance money from other dentists because they couldn't fix my issue. After doing alot of research, I finally decided to call Allen Dental Braintree. Thanks to the front desk (Gina) who was very patient with me, explained and assured me that the dentists there can and will fix my issue. The dental hygienist Nicole also had a very friendly attitude and because of this, I felt less nervous. Other things I've noticed: I did feel my appt with the dentist was rushed. The place is roomy but there was some unpleasant smell in the waiting area. I got a sore throat a couple days later after the appt and I do think it was from this dentist office. I did not have any work done at this place so I cannot say about their work. But their referral specialist did fix my issue that had been bothering me for years. Wish I had found this place years ago.

Falsely stating a patient is calling repeatedly for pain medication is very serious. I'll never return to the practice, but this is to warn potential and existing patients that facts aren't a priority with Nankin Dental. This wasn't the only inaccuracy, but it was the most serious and deserves further attention.

Until a horribly cracked tooth forced my hand earlier this week, there was nothing in this world that could have dragged me to one. That said, like all matters in my life I turned to the people I trust and respect in times of necessity. For the past two years I have been lucky enough to have DR. Katarina Pavlicic as a client of mine and felt comfortable seeking her advice as the pain mounted and the need for treatment became unavoidable. Surprisingly, on her vacation, she took my call and was kind enough to listen while I whined on and on. She gave me many suggestion and solutions on dealing with the pain with the bottom line being that I could see one of her recommended colleagues, or wait and see her in two days. I chose the latter and have been thrilled I did so. From the moment I arrived and was greeted by Rene at check- in, to the dental assistant Ellen's amazing way of being comforting and funny I was put much more at ease than I expected. I relaxed and put my trust in Katarina. Before I knew it, I was walking out the door. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR BILL!!!…read more Back in February I was having dental issues (cracked tooth that needed to be pulled ) all of my "in network" dentists were booked that day so I got referred to Oral Surgery South in Quincy. I called before I went because they were "out of network" and I explained my situation. I also explained that I didn't want to pay over $1000 to get a tooth pulled to please quote me a price, because if it was super expensive I would just wait a day and go to an "in network" dentist. The woman who I was speaking with assured me that getting a tooth pulled was about $200 for in network patients and a little over $400 for out of network patients. I once again went over how I didn't want to pay $1000 to have my tooth pulled but if it was only going to be $400 I would come in and do it. So we booked an appointment. I have no complaints about the dental work, The equipment itself is a little outdated (besides the fancy xray machine they charge an extra $75 without asking you for) but the work was mostly painless and efficient. The problem is when I went to pay my bill and leave, instead of it being a little over $400, the new total was $1,181.90 I admit I made a mistake by swiping my card when I got to the desk without looking at anything, my head was foggy and I just had a tooth pulled. When she told me the price I told her that's not what she told me and what we agreed to on the phone, she told me there was an additional $800 charge. Nobody told me about additional charges, nobody asked me about additional charges , nobody explained anything about additional charges to me , nobody said the words "EIGHT HUNDERED DOLLARS" at any time, until after i got the bill. I felt lied to and taken advantage of. My card was already swiped so even though I told her I disagreed with the charges and I didn't want to pay the extra $800, I would still pay the $400 and that I wasn't signing anything to authorize that additional $800. They still charged me $1,181.90 and refused to give me an itemized receipt, the receipt they gave me has the total on it and nothing else. I tried to dispute the $800 portion of the bill to my credit card company and they said because I swiped there is nothing they can do and I have to contact the merchant. The merchant will not refund the $800. I agree that I still owe the $400 to get the tooth pulled, but I don't want them to UNETHICALLY up- charge anyone else like they did to me. I was desperate and they knew it, then they used bait and switch on me with unethical tactics. I was a sale and a dollar sign and that woman at the desk was rude and she most likely made commission on putting me in that fancy x ray machine they charge you extra for and the extra $800 they tacked on at the end. Going to the dentist is hard enough, nobody should have to deal with this after the fact. So AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS !!! BEWARE OF UNETHICAL PRACTICE AND BAD CHARGES!!!!

I arrived to my appointment a few minutes early, and did not have to wait to be seen. The staff were very pleasant and provided great service. During my exam, Dr. George Salem was very thorough, explained everything very clearly, and was extremely nice. I also had a consult with Dr. Michael Kacewicz, who was just as pleasant and had a great personality. I will continue to be a patient at Dr. George Salem & Associates :)

I have never had a cavity in my life, go to my appointments regularly, and I had just been to the dentist six months prior. Something about it felt off to me so I got additional opinions without disclosing what I had been told, and learned that I had absolutely no cavities. I see that this has happened to others in these reviews so I did feel like it was something people should know while they are searching for a new dentist.
