I don't think I've ever had a better server. She was the friendliest, kindest, attentive server I've seen. She had a huge tableful of people and us on the patio - she made sure not to ignore us even though the other table was busy and they also all paid separately, so that would take up a bit of time for most people. When they left, we had one other couple join the patio. She made sure to come out often enough but also let us enjoy our time. She made some great food recommendations as well. She also treated us to Fiasco Gelato for dessert once she found out how much I love it and because it was our anniversary. How sweet is that?! The only reason that I am giving four stars is that the patio is small and you are sitting very close to know another. There is no music or anything so you feel kinda awkward having a conversation (especially if the other table is sitting there quietly). There is also no hostess to show you where to go, so we weren't sure where and when to sit. The view is spectacular though and the course looks amazing! The food is delicious and the drinks are good too! Big kudos to Jenny though. She certainly deserves a five star rating.

Ha! I thought I'd written a review for this venue but apparently I just drafted it in my head and…read morethat's as far as it got. I've been spending a lot more time here in 2012 than I have before. I used to come once a year or so for a corporate town hall, but my current company holds a speaker series here pretty much once a month. Getting to the Metropolitan Centre is easy by foot - there's an entrance on the +15 level and ground level to outside. Parking is like any other parking downtown, so we won't dwell on that. There are multiple sizes of rooms, from a boardroom table of 12 very comfortable chairs with an awesome view of downtown, to rooms that seat 500+. In terms of catering, I've only ever had the sandwiches, but they're really good and the catering staff can tell you exactly what's in them, which impresses the heck out of me considering some of the service you get nowadays. And the cookies are legendary. Let's leave it at that. The staff is also very accommodating - they have no issues pulling in extra chairs if you exceed what you've got available, and once I had opted to stand at the back instead of taking up a chair and they brought one just for me.
