I wasn't looking to learn any tricks, but had become comfortable enough on the road that I wasn't feeling the need for much rudimentary work. I had taken the MSF class a couple years ago but never rode again until recent weeks, at which point I had taken the bike out for a collective 100 miles or so. Do I really need a riding lesson? Come to find out, I totally needed a riding lesson! I didn't realize how much I would benefit from physically getting to know the bike, from experimenting with my weight, counterbalance techniques and handle bar steering, being encouraged to make tighter and tighter turning radii. It was all so basic, yet all so enlightening, and 3 hours flew by. Cassie is a tiny little lady who handles a big@ss BMW adventure bike like a dang legend (and she seems to be in proper standing with some other legends in field too). Even my annoyingly self-confident husband handed it to her. But also, she's super unassuming, very knowledgeable, and intuitively perceptive about what needs explaining and how. As a female rider, my experience with male riders (husband included) has been that they are less likely to understand my fear of dropping a bike, falling over, or breaking a hip! Female riders have been more understanding of that initial timidity, and Cassie offered just the right level of empathy and encouragement. That said, she doesn't only coach gals. Her website actually advertises "Everybody Only. Motorcycle Training for Anyone." And you better believe that she's prepared to train you, regardless of your gender, your riding level, or your goals for motorcycling. For the record, her prices are very reasonable, and she offers individual and class training environments. She travels to location too. We met in a big parking lot off Pan American, but from what I could tell she was willing to meet me in a location of my choosing. Highly recommend this trainer, and can't wait to go back!

He was great about taking pictures so i was able to have some pictures of myself during the tour. You could tell that he really loved the land and history . I was very happy that he was thoughtful enough to provide a porta potty. The jeep is a tight fit, but he does everything possible to make i it comfortable . I was able to see wild horses, Indian petroglyphs', a Spanish Land Grant, a slot canyon that had many fossils and many other amazing things.. .Everybody should do this while they are in the area

Had we not booked this tour, we would've been walking around thinking what a lovely old area of Albuquerque. Misty was our tour guide and she was fabulous! It is amazing how much detail and knowledge she was able to give to everyone. She was a walking encyclopedia! Lol We saw things that in passing, we would've had no idea what the deep history was for that place or that thing. Misty really brought excitement and wonder alive for us which she packed in during our tour. What a wonderful memory she created for us during our visit to old town Albuquerque. Prices were reasonable. The team was professional, structured, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. I never felt endangered or scared during the entire ride. We saw the sun rise and had a great 360 view of Albuquerque. When we landed the trackers were there to assist and and bring us back to the take off site. Upon returning we had a champagne toast whole listening to a story on the origins to the hot air balloons.

I've hiked, driven my car, and taking the tram several times. The tram way is by far the quickest and easiest. Lol. As a woman who was afraid of heights, I put myself in many high places. Yet even for me, the tram was not scary. It certainly is high. Somehow though, I've always felt secure. Moving at 15 miles an hour, you're at the top before you know it. This time we went to dinner and watched the sunset. Coming down after dark was an interesting experience. There is plenty of parking at the bottom, and plenty of space to spread out at the top. This is a phenomenal piece of engineering holds up to 50 people at one time!

This was an awesome experience to ride the 2nd longest tram in the world up to the top!…read more First of all, the day we rode was the 60th annual celebration of the tram. Thus, our tickets were all 50% off. We found out we'd be riding the third generation. It's been so long since I last visited the tram that I probably rode the second generation. It's roomy! Even with the 60th celebration, our wait wasn't extremely long. I believe there are about 30 people on each ride, but I didn't count. I was hoping I didn't feel crammed and it wasn't too bad. Once you're up there, it's amazing to be so far above the ground. On the way up, our 'captain' gave us a bit of trivia about the area, the tram, and our trip up. At some point, you'll pass the other tram coming down, which gives you an idea of how fast you're really going! Wow. Once at the top, it's about 10 degrees cooler. Bring a light jacket or sweatshirt. You can choose to hike a trail that begins on the back side of the restaurant. You'll see the ski lifts and options for different hikes. OR, you can grab a drink from the Ten 3 restaurant and check out the views. We put our name on the list to eat and sipped on cocktails during the wait. It was nice and relaxing up there at the top! We ate at Ten 3 (our wait was 30 minutes) then made our way down. Our guide on the way down didn't say a word, but I suppose it's the same as the way up. There's only one bench on the tram so if you have trouble standing make sure you let it be known. My mom sat going and coming. When you're back at the bottom there's another restaurant if you'd like to eat there instead. They also have a gift shop with some Sandia Tramway, and Albuquerque memorabilia. It's a cute shop. I bought a few items. It's a nice trip. I've ridden before, but it's been so long I don't even remember. Check it out.
