Visiting Albuquerque for a couple of days and thought this tour sounded like a great way to learn about this town. It was! Bonus - it's dog friendly for small dogs that can sit on your lap, which was perfect because we have our pup with us on this trip. Our driver Mike did an amazing job navigating through town and our tour guide Blake was really fun and informative. We saw parts of Albuquerque that we would have never seen otherwise, learned a lot about the history of this area as well as fun facts including fil I g locations for show like Breaking Bad. Absolutely LOVED the ABQ trolly tour! The tour is conveniently located for in Old Town right across from the park, steps away from the Blackbird Coffee. The staff was very friendly and entertaining and completely impressed with the amount of information and history provided by our tour guide. I was a bit hesitant about 100 minutes with no bathroom stop but the tour flew by and I was completely engaged the entire time. A great option for newcomers to ABQ or anyone visiting! read more

I always enjoy taking city tours when I go visit a city. After reading great reviews with this company, I thought I'd check it out. Instead of signing up on line, I had took my chances and went to the appropriate hotel where the tour starts. Checked in with Stephanie (I believe) and found out I'll be the only one on the tour.... SWEET! Nothing like a personalized tour. Needless to say, we hit all of the hot spots as the brochure stated. Best City Tour! So glad we took this tour. This happened to be a swap from our original Groupon deal. I originally purchased the Albucreepy Downtown Ghost Walk Tour (hubby likes this stuff) but I did not know that the company already has daily schedules for their tours and the Albucreepy tour was only on weekends which we won't be able to make. I called the company and left a message. They immediately called me back and said that they would be happy to exchange and accommodate the tour that was scheduled today which was the City Tour. Awesome! DAY OF TOUR: We met at the Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town. We chose the 11:00a tour with our driver, Chris, and tour guide, Rorik. What excellent and comprehensive job they did. In this 90-minute tour we covered some historic and current points of interests. We hit some places we wouldn't have known to visit on our own. The tour included Old Town, Museum Row (ABQ is part of Bill Gates and Microsoft history), ABQ Country Club Neighborhood (if you like Breaking Bad you must visit Albuquerque), Downtown, EDo (East Downtown), Nob Hill (not quite like ours in SF but the idea was there), Bart Prince house (very different!), University of NM, Sports Stadiums (did you know about Bart Simpson and the Albuquerque Isotopes?), Railyards/Barelas, Rio Grande Zoo/Bio Park. Great experience of first impression of Albuquerque. It helped us plan our day and what points of interest to visit. At the end of the tour we were given a discount brochure to merchants around ABQ. Great way to introduce yourself to the area! My flight arrived a little earlier than my family so I decided to explore ABQ. I saw this pop up under things to do. This was a great value for all the stuff they show you. You get to go around the town and see all the landmarks and filming locations-- including the ever-popular "Breaking Bad." (Sidenote: if you're a super fan they also have a full tour dedicated to that). Our tour guide was super energetic and very knowledgeable. Overall at $30 for a full 90-min tour- definitely worth it and lives up to its motto- "The Best First Thing To Do in Albuquerque." **TIP- you can book this online in advance. Great, off the beaten path tour of ABQ! These guys are rated number one on Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed. In fact, the 66 minute tour is now 76 minutes, so you get more bang for your buck. It was a hot day but the trolley was cool and comfortable. The trolley itself is really clean and nice. Jesse and Mike are great tour guides and also answer questions on the tour. They hooked us up to a bunch of things we wouldn't have found on our own. I recommend this tour as a must do when you get to Albuquerque! Pick up a free tourist card in the tourist information shop in Old Town and save some money on this tour too as they give a 10%-15% discount if you have the card. read more

Great introduction to all the history, architecture, different neighborhoods, restaurants and shopping etc that Albuquerque offers. My 10 year old daughter and I enjoyed the trolley ride. Aweful planning and lack of communication on the day of the event. The trolley arrived more than 25 minutes later to the published boarding time. No one was at the boarding point to update customers anxiously waiting IN THE COLD, not knowing when they're going to arrive. I think maybe an automated text message would show some courtesy to the patrons if they are delayed for whatever reason. The ride itself was fun(ish) but because I was so aggravated by the long delay, I don't think I got the full experience. My daughter fell asleep within first 30 minutes so I was so disappointed that she didn't get to see more than half of beautiful Christmas lights we went to see. The Christmas Light Tour is a great idea and MUCH better than the Luminaria City Bus Tour (Never again!!). They take you to the neighborhoods you wouldn't normally go or won't have access to and that would be too much driving on your own. Be ready to be engaged in a very loud trolley ride too. The guide is very energetic...of course that's their job to get the patrons engaged and have a grand old time...so she was going up & down the isles hosting trivia, stingingly all crazy, etc. if I wasn't already pissed off I would've probably enjoyed myself. Next time I'll take the earlier time so my daughter won't pass out as soon as we get going. Good concept. PLEASE do something about communication in case of a delay. read more

Joanne was our guide this morning. She was extremely knowledgeable and also full of wonderful side-bars and tidbits of information. A natural story teller. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and wish we could have done this tour on our first day here in Albuquerque. Nevertheless, we loved knowing the rich history of the land and the people, learned about the Pueblo architecture, Xeri (??) landscaping that the city initiated 25 years ago thus saving 50% of water consumption! Would definitely recommend taking this tour as you first get into town. We went by historic places, famous filming locations, and beautiful Pueblo style shopping areas.
