My new SawStop from Eagle Tools
John C.

What a gem! Gabe, John, and everyone else at Eagle Tools is great and helped me in finally upgrading my table saw to a new SawStop PCS. They also set it up for me, calibrated everything, and were able to deliver it for me! And the showroom is amazing--there's just nothing like it in the area. And if Gabe's dad is in the shop and telling stories, you should listen up--because they always contain a lifetime's worth of experiences and tips.

I have been in the process of setting up a woodworking shop at my home and was actually referred to Eagle tool by another vendor. I checked them out online and was greatly impressed by the glowing reviews, after my first visit I could see exactly why there was so much positivity related to this business... The service, the staff and the available stock is incredible! I made a few visits before finally deciding on which tablesaw I would go with as there was a lot to consider. Jessie was one of the most patient and knowledgeable professionals I have ever worked with. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the entire process of the sale. I would highly recommend Eagle Tools to anybody in need of top quality woodworking equipment.

This store is amazing - a family-owned tool and machine shop that has been around for decades and offers stellar service, excellent prices, and no sales pressure! Three years ago I was looking to buy my first tablesaw and a chain woodworking store was kind enough to recommend Eagle (even though the chain store also sells tablesaw saws!) I'm so grateful they did. Eagle has a huge selection of machines and brands and they tell you honestly which ones are great, what upgrades are worth the money, and which ones you can skip to stick to a budget. That first visit I ended up buying a tablesaw, dust collector, and drill press. Over the years, I've bought a bigger dust collector, a jointer/planer, a huge woodworking bandsaw, a wood lathe, a metal cutting band saw, as well as numerous saw blades, bases, and other accessories. The sales guys are extremely knowledgeable, and they also have their own in-house machinists who can build the machines from scratch. They've been to my shop several times not only to install new machines but also to trouble-shoot and fine tune them years later.

Band saws, table saws and more!

So I take my time selecting what I need versus what I want especially because I don't know when I will have the next chance to return. The owner himself takes the time to show me the various chisels that they have and you can tell just by listening to him talk the pride he has for the tools that he carries.

In addition to vegetable seeds and garden supply, there are plenty of home and kitchen tools that you'll use every day of your quarantine isolation. SERVICE Nori-San has always been very helpful with any purchases you might need to make. Now that the store attendance is limited, no doubt you'll receive even more bespoke assistance. STORE ATTENDANCE There is only one person/party allowed in the store at a time. If you're familiar with this small family-owned hardware store, you'll know that there isn't much room for too many people anyway. For precautions of health, just one at a time in the store. If you know what you need, the trip to Anzen is really quick. If you DON'T know what you need, the trip to Anzen can be really easy. I make a regular trip to get professional kitchen knives from Nori-San, and he's always very knowledgable and helpful in the decision. SILLY GIFT PURCHASE: Even if you want a simple silly, but useful kitchen gift for your friends, you will probably find something here. I know the layout, I know the staff faces, and I've spent a lot of money here over time. That said, I need to address something that has been deeply uncomfortable for me. Every time I use the self-checkout, employees immediately come behind me, grab my cart, take my items, and start scanning them without asking. I've been told it's to "make my life easier," but it doesn't feel helpful. It feels targeted. Especially when I see other customers using self-checkout without the same level of intervention. I'm also aware that many large retailers use advanced surveillance and AI technology in their stores, which makes the experience feel even more uncomfortable when you're already being closely watched. I've witnessed theft in this store before by various individuals, mainly mexicans and whites, so I understand loss prevention is important. But being automatically treated with suspicion when I've never given any reason for it is frustrating and disheartening. I have never had issues with the law, and I'm a working professional who simply wants to shop in peace like everyone else. I ended up contacting Home Depot corporate because the pattern felt like racial profiling. Corporate took the complaint seriously and issued me a $15 gift card. Since then, while employees still stand directly behind me during self-checkout, they no longer grab my cart or begin scanning my items without consent, which I appreciate. I'm sharing this because customers deserve to feel respected. Loss prevention should not come at the expense of dignity. I will continue shopping here, but I hope management continues training staff on how to support customers without making them feel singled out. Do better. Respect your customers. We're here to spend money, not to be made to feel like suspects.
