THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO ASLI'S REVIEW LAST WEEK. Everyone that knows Eagle Tile and Knows me, Louie, also know that we are very fair in our pricing and will go out of our way to help our customers and make them feel educated and good about the project they are doing and material they are purchasing, as I did with Asli.. I for one have never, ever gotten defensive with a client nor been out of hand about any orders that I have ever done in the past 22 years. I have a reputation to maintain and our clients are Priority One... Asli is out of line saying the things she said in her review and i never have nor will get nasty with a customer no matter the circumstances, but I will defend myself and our company from any false slander that is said about us as did Asli in this review... Everyone knows 9 out of 10 stores and shops use affiliates or other wholesalers to order, fabricate, install or do any mechanical work in this business. Empire Marble is one of our affiliates and does a lot of our counter fabrication and installation. We do add a percentage of 15-25% to our Wholesale costs when these jobs are done, but that is the normal mark-up from wholesale.. We do all the paperwork , the calling, scheduling and follow-ups on all our orders. Who does our work is irrelevant when it is Eagle Tile & Home Center a client is dealing with. In this instance we sent over her quote and explained all the steps in fabricating and installing her kitchen counters. we also welcomed here to get other quotes at that time if she felt the job was costly. A week later she informed us she wanted to go ahead with the job and we proceeded with the steps.. We are scheduled today to Template and If Asli wishes, she can still cancel her order and get her refund anytime . this is company policy until we start cutting slabs. Then the job cannot be canceled. PLEASE , ASLI, IF WHAT YOU THINK IS TRUE THEN LET ME KNOW AND I WILL REFUND YOUR MONEY AND YOU ARE WELCOME TO GET THE WORK DONE WITH SOMEONE ELSE, BUT DO NOT GO ON YELP AND SOCIAL MEDIA TO SAY THINGS ABOUT ME AND MY COMPANY THAT ARE ABSOLUTELY FALSE and HARMFUL.. REPLY TO ME IF YOU WANT TO DISCUSS FURTHER OR CANCEL. WE WANT ALL OUR CLIENTS AND PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS TO BE HAPPY WITH THE JOB WE HAVE DONE OR ARE GOING TO DO FOR THEM. Asli is misinformed and very bitter, but we do not want this. we want her to be happy with this work. we wish her happiness and Luck with this entire project, with no ill will toward her for being misinformed.. In response to Asli A's review... Asli has no idea how the tile market works nor does she comprehend how one company uses another in the wholesale market to work for other retail customers of affiliated companies. Eagle Tile would never try to overcharge their clients nor take advantage of anyone. They have thousands of customers who know they were given great deals in their purchases. Asli had asked Eagle to install kitchen counters and was given a fair price. our installation company went and templated the tops once Asli agreed to the price given. No hidden charges, just a standard quote. Now just because Eagle uses an affiliate to fabricate their tops, and does not directly install themselves, Asli thought Eagle was ripping her off. The management wanted her to feel right about this job, and promptly gave her a full refund , even though Eagle spent time and money on Asli's project she agreed on.Only because she was not 100% Happy with the process Eagle Tile goes through to complete job. Then Asli decided to give Eagle a bad Review anyway .. Because of her own insecurity problems.. I had to write this review to bring to light what happened with this client.. read more

I had to repair original tile on a bathroom that I renovated 25 years ago. It was very difficult to locate the various tile pieces in the old design. I was under a tight deadline because my contractor was working in my apartment, and wanted to "keep moving" to finish installing the tile. I found Eagle Tile -- and Bobby -- through a referral from a tile person in our building, and from Daltile. Bobby saved the day! Bobby dealt with the challenge of ordering many different pieces from different vendors. He kept track of the the status of each order, and always kept me updated on when to expect the deliveries. He was very knowledgeable about every vendor and style of tile and marble. He was very meticulous with the details, and the order came in 100% perfect. On top of it all, Bobby is a pleasure to work with. He goes the extra mile on customer satisfaction. Because of his good work, I will definitely go back to Eagle Tile for my next bathroom renovation. This company made my kitchen renovation as painless as possible. The contractor Franky was completely professional at all times. He always stayed on top of the work being done on a daily basis and was constantly in touch with me. His workers were extremely competent. The work done by the main carpenter, tile worker and counter top installer was done perfectly and I would recommend them to everyone to do your one stop shopping by buying all your materials from them. They're prices are good and you don't have to deal with big stores like Home Depot who give you horrible customer service. With Eagle Home Center it is one on one and you have constant immediate communication when things like damaged cabinets are delivered and are replaced immediately. Do I recommend? ABSOLUTELY, ABSOLUTELY! I live in the city so naturally shopped around all the trade and home design showrooms when I was beginning our remodeling job. All were as you expected, expensive and not friendly (since I was not a trades person). My contractor recommended Eagle Tile as a place to look so headed up town to their showroom and never looked back. Bobby was incredibly helpful, always looked into all requests/pricing, gave excellent recommendations, and equally very responsive to all additional inquiries. On top of the excellent customer service, their pricing was far better than the in city as was their delivery fee (nominal compared to the other quotes I received.) Definitely worth a trip uptown! My experience with Eagle and Bobby was exceptional. Bobby was friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable about the variety of products offered by Eagle. He was always patient, easy to talk to, never appeared frustrated by my numerous questions, and always anxious to help. During each visit to Eagle, Bobby spent as much time with me as necessary thereby making the entire experience a pleasant one. The tile that I selected created a fabulous bathroom and the cost was reasonable. As a result, I will not hesitate to recommend Eagle and Bobby for one's tile, kitchen, and bathroom accessories. WOW, what a selection of Tile. I was really surprised at how much of a selection of different products Eagle tile has. Along with bath and kitchen fixtures as well. The staff and salesperson were so nice and helpful. We decided on a porcelain wall and floor tile along with some glass mosaics as a trim. the person helping us was very helpful and knowledgeable about these products and within an hour we were all set . we even got our contractors discount added on to the order which made it a little sweeter for our bottom line.. Very happy with the service.I worked with Paola Castro for bathroom tiles. She really was very helpful and professional. She is a lovely person to work with. I also worked with Bobby Ramdin for bathroom vanity,sink and toilet. The Sizes were difficult to work with, but he persisted and was able to help me find the BEST of all products for my bathroom reconstruction. I was so grateful that the Super in my building had referred me to Eagle. We recently completed an extensive remodel in the Upper West with Eagle's help. They were professional from the start, with a great selection, prompt service and very competitive pricing. We purchased all our tile, countertops and plumbing from them. At the end of the job when small issues came up (missing pieces, questions on installation, etc.) they were very responsive and several times bent over backwards to be sure we were satisfied. Eagle has a great selection of tiles, cabinet hardware, kitchen and bath plumbing fixtures, and so much more -- a much wider selection than the Manhattan locations of Lowes and Home Depot, and their prices are very competitive. Eagle is a much more down-to-earth place than the downtown tile stores. Staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Our salesman, Bobby, even recommended taking our tiles and hardware home in a taxi because it would be much cheaper than having them deliver. read more

i never write yelp reviews but this store was so great i have to! made the mistake of ordering tile from home depot - who shipped the wrong ones...in order to keep my project on schedule i needed to track down the right tiles ASAP. luckily i called eagle - not only did they have my tiles in stock but they were so nice and helpful! prices were very reasonable and i was able to pick them up same day. eagle totally saved the day - avoid the big box stores and check them out! read more

I got the tiles and grout for my 1 bedroom renovation with Bobby of Eagle. They offer a wide selection of beautiful tiles, and lots more for your home project or renovation. Bobby was very patient, helpful and efficient. His co workers were also very helpful when he was not available. Eagle tile was very helpful in ordering the tiles I had selected for my kitchen floors. They carry Daltile which is an excellent quality product. My neighbor used them as well, as per my recommendation, and was also extremely happy. I give only 4 stars as they is no delivery service available, your contractor has to pick up the tiles. I am replacing some of the tiles in bathroom that were in bad shape looked all over for the same tiles and was told they were discontinued I was about to give up when I found these guys online who took their time out and they were the ones to come up with these tiles and they got to me in 4 days! plus they installed them and their price was great. read more

Eagle has been excellent. We are currently renovating our Manhattan kitchen, and worked with Bobby to get floor tiles and backsplash. He knows his products--there is a big selection--and followed up quickly with prices and availability. Prices were good. We love our new tiles! read more
