Glad I didn't use them looking at others reviews. Made an appointment to activate an already installed security system that was in home when purchasing. System is completely untouched and functional the previous owner simply shut it off. So I called and got an appointment 2weeks out. On day of appointment I took the day off. This was very important as we were taking a trip for a few weeks and wanted peice of mind while away. I sat and waited and waited no one ever came. No one called nothing. Later on that evening I happen to look at my email and 2 hours into my appointment window they decided to email me they weren't coming. Seriously this is how you communicate with a customer who booked 2 weeks ago what do you mean you can't make it..... I think I dodged a bullet. Thank you for showing your true colors and not allowing me to get in a mess with your company..... Stay far far away from this one. Ended up buying a smart security system that was able to self install connects to all my cameras super simple set up. Works fantastic. No monthly fee. Because I monitor it and my neighbors are cops I can get police there faster then this company for a monthly charge that they can't even show up for. read more

The system is not working, I called the service department and was told if I upgraded my service package it wouldn't cost me anything to come have it diagnosed and fixed. Instead, It would be costing me over a hundred to have a tech come out. The lady on the phone handled my frustration with professionalism and did her best but she doesn't make these policies I get that. I would not use this company again if I had known this things and with the unreliability of the alarm system I would encourage other business owners to look elsewhere, Eagle is not for you. read more

If I could give a 0 or Negative 5, I would! When Eagle was acquired by Vynet, the Service went Way Down and the price went Way Up!!! Canceling was a true nightmare .... Took 5 months and they kept sending invoices after 5 months after cancellation requiring more calls and emails ... AACK!!! Do Not Use this company!! read more

On Sunday evening our keypad starting beeping rapidly. there was a weird message on the keypad that was nowhere in the manual that I located online; something about "Check Lng rng 103 Radio 0005. " I called the 800 and the 866 numbers - no answers. One message told me the voice mail was full. We were perplexed, but couldn't sleep with that beeping so we went to a hotel. When we returned in the morning, mercifully, it had stopped beeping. I called the company and they admitted there had been a problem with their "communicator service", but had no other helpful information. I have lost confidence in this company and do not recommend them. They have doubled their monthly charge and their ability tp provide good service has gone down. I asked that the manager call me, but I doubt he or she will. Meanwhile, I had to fork out money for a hotel room. read more

If it comes down to making a choice as to which home or commercial security provider to use in the Chico area then without a doubt I would recommend Eagle Security. The interactions I've had with the staff of Eagle have always been top notch whether it is Rick/John in the office or Nick/Ken for installations. I also found Eagle's prices to be more reasonably priced than Certified's... they are also nicer to work with. While you pay a little more money than ADT, it is well worth it for the quality of the install/products. Keep up the good work Eagle! read more

We switched companies in 2014. The owner Leo, showed up threatening my staff and I shortly after. The new security company warned us that Leo would "Jam" our phone lines and he did. .DO NOT USE EAGLE SECURITY...... I was paying $25 a month to have my security service connected to the Chico police department. Our phone was disconnected but EAGLE SECURITY DID NOT noticed that my home phone (we never used it, only for the alarm system) was disconnected, BUT they continue to bill me for the service....... I had no idea that the phone was not working, EAGLE SECURITY instead send my small bill to collection. Eagle Security is not a reliable company, Chico has many others security companies that are honest and THEY REALLY MONITOR YOUR SYSTEM.
