My "New" Bathroom This is a lengthy review, so if you want the BOTTOM LINE, I give Eagle Remodeling and Shai (owner, operator) my highest recommendation! They came with fair pricing, expertise, attention to detail, commitment to timeliness and deadlines, professionalism, and trustworthiness. They really made it EASY for me as the client. The toughest thing was deciding on tiles, colors, fixtures and they made that easy too. I will hire them again for future projects and refer them to my friends! My bathroom was in MAJOR need of a renovation. The old jacuzzi tub was not functional (even as a soaking tub), a small shower that had hot and cold reversed, and there was a fireplace between the bedroom and bathroom that looked cool, but took up space, was hardly used, and resulted in the bathroom and bedroom not having privacy. Essentially, the two rooms were one. I contacted Shai after a referral from a neighbor. He came by during the spring, took a look, and made recommendations as well as a quote. I got a couple of other estimates, and due to travel, didn't reconnect with him until late summer. By that time, I'd made some changes to what I wanted to do. I decided I wanted to remove the fireplace. Shai checked with his architect, and it wasn't as big a deal as initially thought. Because there'd never been any leaking, they would demo the fireplace and then cap the chimney, no roof work. We proceeded with plans for a full renovation. Shai laid out the renovation in a very itemized and detailed document with a total of thirteen milestones with payment after each, including my final inspection. I went with getting permits, and Shai took care of all of that! He also helped my with tile and fixture resources. This was outstanding, as I met him at stores, selected tile, tub, fixtures, doors, and the like. I was traveling again so was only there for the first two weeks. His team is fantastic. The lead for my project is a gentleman name Salvador. For the first two weeks it was Salvador and his colleague, Arcadio. They showed up every morning on time, went about their work quietly (even the demo wasn't bad), took a break for lunch, got back to it, cleaned up, and left at the end of the day, usually around 4PM. Consistently. No "they can't come today, they're working on another project." Salvador has a great eye, asks excellent questions, and provided solutions. Same with Shai, of course. My house is an older house and whoever built it wasn't a stickler for straight lines, flush corners, etc.. They found solutions. I'd purchased the vanity myself, ventilation fan per their recommendations from Amazon, towel racks etc.. They supplied the LED light fixtures, building materials etc. as noted in the estimate. I also had a second project in my family room that required opening up the wall to replace a bad HDMI cable and place a conduit with new cable. I forgot that they'd done the work! They had to open up the wall completely, remove the "jackleg job" done previously, and match the paint. Ultimately, they painted the entire wall. Very reasonable price and expertly done. Oh yes, they also installed an electric fireplace in my bedroom to soothe my loss of of old gas one! LOL During my travels, Shai kept me apprised with photos, questions, and progress. I was able to send payments electronically. Importantly, I TRUSTED THEM to be in my house when I wasn't there, and they were completely trustworthy and respective of my property. This is so important! So, how'd it all turn out? FANTASTIC!!! I now have a NEW, STYLISH, and FUNCTIONAL bathroom that really looks great! I am VERY HAPPY! I am so glad that I went with Shai. I didn't mention much about cost, but his estimate was much more reasonable. I never got the impression that he wasn't being straight with me. Never. He went and got materials that weren't delivered to the house. Where we had different visions, he recognized that I might have different thoughts on things, like colors, and went with me, the customer. He definitely goes above and beyond. He also had a new roof put on my home, and the entire exterior painted. The transformation was remarkable and his crew overall was extremely dedicated, had good attention to detail, and was respectful. Dean (Shai) came up with wonderful ideas and took the time to create pictures showing us what the remodel might look like, which no other contractor was willing to do.
