My meal was very good. I don't remember the exact name of it. It was a chicken, cranberry, spiced walnuts, raspberry vinegrette dressing combination. Delicious! Service was prompt, waitress was kind and attentive. Price was right. I would definitely order this again. Well done! 4 solid stars for authenticity! The Eagle Inn doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. Make no mistake this is a rural dive bar with great food. Nuthin fancy. Gizzards....yup! Excellent burgers (olive burger is as good as I've had). The menu is extensive and offers Mexican, wraps, strsalads, pizza and 1/2 pound burgers at a reasonable price. I got the wet burrito the other day and it made me very sick. I had a gut ache and diarrhea for over three days. I know that it was what made me ill because I didn't eat anything else that day. Across the board, prices are way too high for what you get anyway. Food is mediocre at best. You're better off at Wendy's or Taco Bell. read more

Stopped by because I was detoured off the highway. I was really surprised by the place...absolutely loved everything! Our group had the house pizza (great crust and sauce), the wet burrito (awesome sauce) and then a bunch of apps too (gizzards, pickle spears and onion rings). OMG This little bar has the BEST Fish Fry Fridays . You really need to experience this . Get there early because word is definitely out !!! Their menu is amazing. Became regulars while we were in the area visiting family. Monday night, ordered a pizza. Pizza was good and tasty. Had a nice crust, hand tossed. Tuesday went for beers and appetizers. Ended up ordering fried pickles (they are cut like actual fries!) and the nachos. Wednesday we went for their 75 cent wings and OMG the were sooooo good!! Ordered the traditional wings with the sauces on the side. The wings were nice and crispy and I ordered the garlic parm and the sweet chili sauce, mmmm both were good and would definitely order them again. The Eagle Inn is the quintessential neighborhood tavern where neighbors run into neighbors frequently. A decent pub food menu but the real star is the Friday Fish Fry. Better come early and be prepared to be patient as this is a very popular event. Well worth the wait so enjoy a brew from their fairly extensive on/tap and bottle menu. When the Fabiano family took over here they also brought their excellent pizza recipes which are terrific! Come to think of it, we've never had a bad meal here. Would have been a great meal. Didn't receive part of our order even after we asked for it 3 times. Took forever to get a second beer. I only had two beers for the simple reason didn't think I would see a third. I asked for the manager and was told they where not here. The restaurant ran out of fish at 7pm. I've been here a plethora of time. Bei5tNy is a great waitress. Tonight was all I could stand. We ordered in two different shifts, kids first and then adults. Kids were done for 45 mins and we played the bill while waitimg. We got a 10% discount for the wait. Apparently there was a technical problem and our food was in the mix. When I asked about it the BARTENDER Nick said "I didn't have to discount it at all" which is true. Went two days ago to try to enjoy a meal...what a disappointment! We hadn't been there for months and decided to try them again. We ordered appetizers and burgers and waited and waited....after over an hour, the table behind us had only sat down 15 minutes prior, and got their food; a table that was there before us also never received their food. Their excuse was the kitchen messed up the orders. They never offered anything for what happened just a "sorry". We won't be back ever!
