I spoke directly to Bob who came out a few weeks later to give me a quote on six casement windows. We chose him to install them and I've never been happier! THE QUOTE: I had gotten quotes from four window companies prior to Bob. The process with those other companies was awful! Long "sales pitches" and high-pressure, fast talking salesmen. However, Bob was refreshing. He's low-key, unobtrusive and really knows his stuff. I explained that we wanted to replace the existing windows with the same kind of window. He came in, measured the windows and then left. He sent me an email a few days later with two window choices and the prices. I emailed him back, signed his contract and mailed him a check for half the money. Smooth, painless and super-easy. THE COMMUNICATION: Bob called me when the windows came in. (The install dates are, of course, weather dependent.) He called a few weeks later with some install dates. We chose Monday, October 24, 2022 to begin the install. He showed up ON TIME and installed 3 of the six windows. Due to soaking rains the next day, the second install date was scheduled for October 26. Again, he showed up on time and began work immediately. THE WORK: Our windows were original to the house and approximately 40 years old. Many were "glued shut" and the handles didn't work on others. It took a bit pounding to get them out and Bob and his worker did a great job! The new windows are Pella and look outstanding! On top of that, Bob's worker did a great job cleaning up each day after the work was completed. TIDBIT: When Bob was here the first day, I asked him to quote an additional window in the dining room. (The bracket thingee that opens the window had just malfunctioned a few months earlier.) Bob noticed that it was the same brand of window as the others that he was replacing. He suggested merely taking the brackets off one of the windows being replaced and using it on the dining room window. Genius idea! Other shady companies would NEVER have suggested a repair like that! Bob is not only honest, but a creative problem-solver! CONCLUSION: Bob's Windows did and outstanding job at a competitive price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

It was a mess. I carefully researched companies that did exterior work. I ultimately chose Olson on the basis of their reputation of doing high-quality work. Shortly thereafter I met with the project manager (Joe H) and he was helped me get the colors and materials picked and ordered and the project was underway. When the install day arrived, I was introduced two a 2-man work crew that would be handling the bulk of the work. In the course slightly more than a week, they totally rebuilt the full exterior of my home. The results are amazing and the home feels new again! Two things really stood out to me and my experience with Olson. 1). The work ethic of that two-man crew. They worked as hard as anyone I have ever seen. Except for lunch, work was non-stop from sunrise to sunset. This was hard and grueling work, especially the demolition of the old siding and stone fascia. They showed up every day like clockwork, and cleaned up after each day. 2). The quality of work they demonstrated. They absolutely knew what they were doing, and they were very good at it. Everything was installed true, level, without gaps, etc. Caulk lines were perfect etc. Everywhere they worked you could see the pride in what they do, and it was very clear there were no shortcuts taken. These two gentlemen were expert craftsman and I can gratefully say my house now reflects that. It turned out more beautiful than I'd ever imagined. I have never nor will ever receive any compensation for this review. My sole motivation for writing is to share the positive experience I had with Olson. Finding a trustworthy company for a project of this size and investment is daunting. Olson, especially their work crew, deserves recognition for a job well done.
