However my time was short on Saturday and my car was running basically on fumes so I stopped in here at USA. It is the lowest of those not mentioned above usually but here are some things you need to know: Serious Cons This place is located on a busy intersection (Soledad Canyon and Whites Canyon) so you need to be very careful entering and exiting the lot if you don't want to get creamed by others not paying attention. It is also very busy at the pumps so you need to be willing to pump from the opposite side of your car (or truck) or wait until a spot opens up. Since people are coming into this station from two different directions it can get a little nerve racking if you are not used to it. Sometimes the pumps don't accept your card...if that is the case you are on your own my friend because it takes a while to get this situation handled. Also be aware that this place is sometimes frequented by homeless so be on guard for those who are not so nice (my wife had a situation here so she won't come here anymore with someone reaching into her car while she was parked.) The good balances the bad, but still only gets it to three stars.

With brands such as ARCO my engine pings and just doesn't like it. I will almost always put Chevron, Shell, or even Costco. This gasoline seems to be equally as good as those. I get pretty good mileage off of this gas and it doesn't cause my engine to ping or anything.

Every time I've used this newly opened gas station someone tried to do some sort of fraud on my debit card and the company cancelled it. Yesterday my husband and I went there stupidly and used the debit card thinking it should be fine now or gave the benefit of a doubt. Guess what? Our transaction was about 4pm and at 9:32pm a lady from Georgia used my debit card and purchased fit bit from Best Buy that cost 192.55. I have this ladies full address and have this gas station on my radar if the owners don't stop scamming people they are going to be reported, investigation is already in process. Oh she added my last name to her full name not to spike suspicion as if I'm stupid.

This gas station is known for having decent prices on gas and it does, but don't drive hours to get here. The prices are good. Lots of taxis and Ubers from LAX use it and that is what it get crowded. You are best going at night. It is super clean. The mini mart is great. They have everything a traveler needs, but has forgotten. They also have lots of snacks and junk food. If you are starving there is no place to eat nearby after 10:00 PM. You can get pizza and hots dogs there at all hours. Are they great--of course not, it is a gas station, but they are quite eatable and there are lots of drinks to get there as well. The interior is very clean. The service is quite nice.

In the last year, I have noticed my engine makes a knocking sound. I buy 91 suoer unleaded no matter where I go but I have gone out of my way to get G&M's gas for years. I recently got 91 gas at Costco. Not only did the knocking sound end immediately but my car drives very smoothly with a very pleasant acceleration and doesn't seem to work as hard. I have always thought 91 gas is similae everywhere; however, I have to say, my car's performance enhancement using Costco 91 versus G&M's 91 is very noticeable. I am heart broken. I am a G&M loyalist but perhaps its quality is subpar. I have no other issues with my car to cause knocking and it stopped immediately. I am in my 3rd day of using Costco 91 gas, and I will have to make G&M a backup rather than the norm for 91 gas going forward. I do not believe it is premium gas or Costco has magic gas. Test G&M against other gas for even burn & performance. From a positive standpoint, they generally keep the gas station area clean with squeegies and window. Cleaners and paper towels and trash cans. I love the location, pricing for debit payments and general in and out flows.

Very considerate considering the neighborhood. The ladies outside looked at me warily as I carried this 12 inch bludgeon as discretely as possible to the loo. Upon returning the weapon I shared my amusement and concern with the cashier who seemed to take it all in stride. His logic was, it's better than losing the key. Apparently this is not an isolated incident. I was once handed a sawed off led pipe to take to the can. Consider this your tip of the day, hopefully in an adult fashion.
