BEWARE!!! I went in on Sunday to pump gas and get a few snacks. I had a $100 bill and right off the bat the rude lady at the counter asked if I was going to pay with the $100 bill, In my mind I was like 'nah I'm just holding it so someone can steal it out of my hand' I said yes but I'm getting $50 of gas so you should have change. She proceeds to charge me. The total was $71 and some change. Next thing you know she pushed buttons and really fast the total changed to $79 and some change. I usually don't get my receipt and this time when she asked if I wanted it I said yes. When she went to reprint it the receipt was for a voided $8 transaction. She reprinted my receipt and sure enough there was a charge for $7.99 for a phone charger I had not purchased. I asked her why did you charge me for this phone charger and she played stupid. She got nervous and just handed over the $8. I believe she overcharged me then voided the transaction and was going to keep that $8. It's not much but if she does that say 10 times a day she's stealing about $80 a day. Be careful and check your receipts if your are paying inside. Yelp Challenge 2016: 82/116. Okay, yes, it's a gas station...but it's extremely convenient as it's right off the Nordhoff exit on the 405 South. Make a right hand turn off the freeway and there you are. The price is definitely right if you pay cash. It was $2.39 this morning, December 5, 2016. It's easy to get in and out with three full islands with two pumps on each. There's a mini market with all the usual amenities: drinks, snacks, coffee, newspapers, cigarettes... If you pay cash, you go in and hand it to the cashier, but I found the lady this morning to be very brusque and unfriendly. I said hello TWICE, which is an effort for me prior to 7:30 am, and she didn't respond at all. Yes, I know it's Monday, but this is a customer service oriented business! Anyway, high marks for convenience and price. And great marks for an easy entry and escape. Friendliness? Zero. read more

Had a sign saying they require masks, but customers weren't wearing them and the clerks were doing nothing. The guy in line behind me wasn't wearing a mask or respect omg the 6ft boundaries, so I asked him to back off and he ignored me. When I got to the front of the line I brought it up to the clerk, who literally said nothing - as in ignored the fact that I was even speaking. It seems like your signs are just an empty show so that people will still shop there, but your staff really doesn't give a rat's behind about enforcing any of those standards. The lady working in there is pretty rude. I asked her to turn on the air and she told me it's 75 cents. (Most places are nice enough to turn it on for free) i ended up going to put in the 75cents and the air didn't turn on. I walked back in to tell her I put the money in and it didn't turn on and she told me to call the number on the box because they don't own it. I don't think it's my job to figure out why your air machine at your gas station isn't working. Left and went across the street to the 76 and waited for the guy whose cleaning his car to finish. Don't waste your time attempting to wash your windows because there is a tiny amount of filthy water in each bucket and a whopping total of 1 squeegie to clean your windows, and guess what, it doesn't even clean them and leave the water completely behind on the window... Worst customer service experience I've ever had! When I entered the gas station lot I noticed one of the staff members adjusting the price advertisement sign from $2.29/ gallon to $2.23/gallon. In fact he literally ordered me to move my car out of the way - to another pumping station - to give him room to remove the placards from the sign which was positioned adjacent to where the pump my car was standing at the time. After seeing the attendant make this change, I got out of my car and began filling my tank. Meanwhile I went inside the stations convenience store to purchase a snack and while attempting to pay for the item I was forced to stand there for over 3 minutes while two cashiers discussed an unrelated topic all the while refusing to even acknowledge me or any of the other 5 customers waiting in line at the time. When they finally got around to helping us, there was no apology and instead, the cashier displayed a flat, unenthusiastic and frankly disrespectful disposition towards me and the other customers as if we had just inconvenienced them. After paying for the item and walking to my car, I took a look at how much I paid for the gas and noticed the meter still registered $2.29/gallon. At this point, I realized that even though they were now advertising $2.23, they were not actually giving customers this price for gas! I went inside to inquire about this and was told: "it's your fault...you should have waited until we changed over the price in the system..." My question to the staff was, why would you chance the advertised price of gas before adjusting the price in the system. They could not answer the question. Instead, I was told to leave the store and informed that I could "do whatever we you want" when I informed them this was an example of false advertising and I would need to speak with a manager. I do not recommend anyone put themselves through this torture. These people are crooks and not only will the advertise false prices, they are rude, inconsiderate and take no responsibility for their actions. This station gives Arco a really bad name. My previous visits to Arco gas stations were positive so I have to assume that this experience is a result of one very poorly managed station and most likely does not reflect the company as a whole. As a long time customer of Arco gas, I recommend the regional management take a hard look at the practices of this particular store and strongly consider making changes to both the management and customer service standards. Horrible customer service, I respect my elders but sorry to say this elderly lady is just stupid. Had to drive over to help my wife change her tire,seeing as her tires inner wall blew out in the middle of the freeway so she didn't wanna damage the rim or car so she pulled up into a pump and put her flashers on. She called me and I drove over to change the tire I was about done when this lady came out and started writing down my vin number and license plate from my car, and my wife's license plate, I asked not to do that as seeing she isn't any kind of law enforcement or parking maid. She threatened me with tickets for my car and told me the tow truck was on its way already, even though I had just told her I was about to finish mounting the spare tire and I even apologized for blocking 2 pumps even though I wasn't busy and there were 6 more pumps available. She proceeded to keep write my cars info, I asked her if her company was that ignorant or if it was just her, she just laughed and said I was the Ignorant one for changing the tire and blocking 2 of her pumps. read more
