BEWARE OF WHAT YOU'RE CHARGED!!! The employees are not the pro lem, but the owner is another story. He'll over charge you, and charge you extra fees on top of that. He will make the transactions in such way that you don't notice right away how he is ripping you off, but afterwards you realize, and there's no way you can say anything. He is the bald old guy. I came to this car wash to wash my car. It came out as dirty as it went in. I complained to the owner, and he came out to blame me for having a dirty car. (So what is the car wash for then) he did nothing to resolve the issue. The washer doesn't work. It's over priced. And clearly the customer service level is non existant. I like Shell when I can use my Ralphs Market rewards and get 20cents/gal off of my gas! So I paid 4.15/gal and got a dollar of of the drive thru car wash. Normally $6.00.The only thing I don't like about these kind of car washes is they don't dry well, So if you go on a hot day and plan on getting on the fwy, works out because the warm air gets the little bits of water that my be left on your car. read more

It was 4:15a when I arrived at this dump, I tried opening the door which was closed and that old man working rudely said they were closed but everything was lit up. So then I asked him why are all the lights in the facility on if your closed ? He cursed me out and asked me what f was I doing? I told him I am working and I am not from this area (which is true) he really fired me up I was going in for a monster energy drink and also going to buy a few scratchers but forget the monster that old fool was lucky not to get a can of whoop ass. Horrible place! Stay away from this gas station. The owners are extremely rude and has zero regard for customers, they only care for your money money money. One incident when their car wash broke down and they would not refund my money. The dark short guy just told me, "too bad!". I asked him if I could use the restroom, because I absolutely needed to use the restroom at first he didn't even say anything and then finally just kind of pointed across the street I said "you're gonna send me across the street to the other gas station? Bought 2 Red Bull's and put in my fuel rewards number to earn the extra 10 cents off in the fuel rewards app. After I bought them I found out he cleared out my number because I wasn't buying gas so I didn't earn my ten cents off. I used to come here a lot and and on 24 May 2015 I was treated very rude by the service member there ...the car wash was having technical issue unknowingly I payed for a $10 wash and only received a six dollar wash I went back to the cashier for my four dollars and was told I was only getting 3 dollars back because it was my fault because I didn't read a sign that was on the pump...I told him are you going to keep my money and he said yes because it was your mistake for not reading the pump Sign ..... There are many gas stations in LA. And Shell gasoline I believe to the best for my car. The prices are here are the cheapest in the area and they have a nice car wash if you are on the go that is really quick and affordable. The place is very clean and well maintained compared to other stations nearby and the service is very friendly. If you are ever in the neighborhood and need a fill up, car wash, and some snacks this is definitely the place. read more

This place is horrible. My husband and daughter were waiting to get a car wash and the owner tried forcing them to go into the car wash before the car ahead of them was even done. It got so heated that the guy shut down the car wash BEFORE MY HUSBAND COULD EVEN GET OUR CAT WASHED and had to refund my husband and 7 other people behind my husband. All my husband's point was being respectful and letting the car in the wash totally finish. The owner was rude and lost 8 car washes because of it. He's permanently last our business. I'm in final stages of renal failure and in a wheelchair. I needed gas in my car and pulled into shell and called in to see if I could get some help. Some man answered and said he couldn't help and wouldn't and to not come back. The next day I called again hoping the woman who helped me before would answer and I got another man who said very rudely that I had to buy more than $10.00 and started yelling at me. As I noticed in the previous reviews, there is a customer device issue and it is the owner that is a problem. Here is my car wash story. I like this shell have been buying gas and washing my car there for the last 5 years. After filling up and paying for the most expensive car, I went immediately went to wash the car. After the wash cycle, the dryer vent that had dropped down to dry suddenly pull back up without drying my car. I when to the cashier and asked what happened. The cashier (male) was rude and accused me of waiting to long to pull forward after the washing. I explained that I pulled forward as soon as the light turned green as I had many times before. The cashier then took me outside of the car wash and showed me that the next car was being dried, again he accused me of waiting too long. He refused to return any money or allow me to rewash the car. Now, I'm mad and decided to hand dry my car in front of the store so the cashier could see me. He promptly came out and told me that he is the owner and that if I ever came back to his station he would call the police and have me arrested for trespassing. I liked this station, especially the car wash, and I was shocked of how I was treated. I'm not going back, but be forewarned if you have any problems, especially with the car wash, that you may be treated rudely. Recommend you get gas across the street. read more

I have been buying most all my gas and car washes for years at this Shell station...until now. Two weeks ago, the owner or manager (not sure of his status) pulled me out of the car wash line I was in and accused me of cheating him out of a car wash by forging a pump receipt with a car wash on it. The receipt was from his pump and NOT a copy. I was shocked that he would think I would do that after all the years I, my family and friends have been coming there. We will not be buying Shell gas there or at any other Shell station anytime soon. If this is who Shell prefers to represent them, I can take my business somewhere else. He falsely accused me of holding up the car wash line & falsely accused me of telling him what to do. He threatened to shut the car wash off on me, so the only 2 things I got to say was "please do not yell at me" & "if I put my code in, are you going to shut the machine off, taking away the wash I paid for?" As of today, I nor many of my relatives/ friends will be customers of this place. I have never been treated so badly. The manager/owner was extremely rude and called me a liar about his car wash. Went there for gas and a $10 car wash. I usually get this one because my son loves to see the rainbow soap but most importantly it cleans my car. Well today that didn't happen, the machine threw regular soap and a quick rinse and we were out. It was way faster than what I'm used to. I went to tell the employee that I didn't get the car wash that I paid for. He called his manager and the manager right away said I did receive the car wash and showed me a blurry video of what appears to be rainbow soap only in the rear of my car. I continued to tell him that I come often to wash my car and knew what a $10 car wash looks like. He was very rude and insisted that his car wash did its job and how they've never had any complains about his car wash ( if you read below, you will see it's an issue). I just wanted to make him understand that technical issues can occur but he just didn't want to listen. So I left pretty upset because he just kept raising his voice and didn't care to listen to me. I realized he kept my receipt, so I called to get the managers name and store # but the manager refused to give it to me. The manager is just extremely rude and has no reasoning.
