My new favorite barber in Eagle and surrounding area. Small, clean place that is popular with locals. Happens to be next to dog grooming shop so you could kill two birds with one stone! :-) Barber took his time and made sure the cut was right. Trimmed the eyebrows too. Reasonable prices and comparible to a chain barber. But not as much as a salon, so right up my alley. $28 for the cut. They shave and trim beards too. read more

Ive been going to Eagle Eye since 2021. They do a great job of men's haircuts, I've sat with each of the barbers, of course I have my favorite but all of them are fine. Been a patron for five years, never had a bad cut. His prices are fair and he has a square account for cards. If your in a hurry, call ahead. He takes no appointments, but often has a line of as many as four people. He seems to average about 15-20min a cut, which can help you determine your wait when you first walk in. He does have quite a few older (balder) patrons, so figure 10-15 for them. His wife (not sure they are actually married) does a decent job as well, but if you sit in her chair, expect it to take about twice as long. She does a fair job though and will make sure it's done right. read more

Really love the family friendly vibe of this shop while all the other barber shops are trying to be hip. I got my perfect zero high fade undercut & feeling fresh. I have been a long-time customer from the first day it opened, but I've been gone for a few years since moving to Oregon, so I had to stop by when I found myself in Eagle again this week picking up a commercial freezer. I stopped in and found 2 barbers clipping away. The atmosphere remains as friendly as I remember it, but it looks like Trevor has a lot of help now and I think I was lucky that day since there was nobody waiting when I arrived. That situation lasted about 10 minutes before more folks showed up. I got a very good cut and my barber was very thorough about rechecking and tidying up. The beard shaping also went very well too and I left looking far more respectable than the ragamuffin I was when I arrived. As his very first customer coming back after being away for so long, It's good to see Trevor's Eagle Eye Barber Shop still doing so well. Still an awesome place! read more

Trevor and Don kept the entire shop engaged in conversation and based on the work I saw while waiting my shot at a chair...I knew I had found the right shop for me. Been testing out other barber shops in the area for a couple of months and haven't been able to find anyone that can handle a fade with a hard part. That was, until I met Trevor. I walked in on a Saturday morning a few weeks ago and was immediately greeted and instructed of the wait time and the price of cuts. Once I sat down in the barbers chair, Trevor asked what I wanted and I showed him a picture. He proceeded to match the image exactly and consulted with me along the way. We chatted about this and that while he cut and I left completely satisfied with the service and haircut. Went back last night at 5 pm and received the same level of detail and attention as the first time. He remembered cutting my hair before and even suggested a minor change to make it last longer. While it isn't my style, all three times I've gone in they've done a great flat top or high and tight. If that's what you want, this needs to be your barber. read more

I have two very picky teenaged boys, and Trevor is the only guy in town who can give them the haircuts they want every time with no issues. He seems to know some kind of wizardry to get their cowlicks in back to lie flat, and has had good advice for them on the best way to transition between styles. With both a barber's and a cosmetology license, he has tons of great training, and it shows in every haircut. The space is clean and comfortable, with plenty of cushy seating. My only complaint is that there's usually a decent wait, with only one barber in the shop and he in high demand. As long as you're cool with a fairly dude-centric selection of magazines (or bringing your own book), it's all good. read more

Im not one to leave a review at all but I have to. My haircut is quite simple and very quick. asked for a low taper on my mullet and ended up with a taper almost to the top of my head. Thankfully I didn't ask for anything done to the back of my mullet, and nothing left on top. when my girlfriend who is going to cosmetology school looked at it, she noticed the top with 3 different lengths and a long and short side. I ended up having to do a finger length all around on the top because there was nothing else to be done. I ended up having to pay for a whole different haircut from someone else. To anyone with a mullet I'd warn you now. read more

Gender discrimination alert. I was refused service because I am a female. I went in and requested a touch up on a grown out undercut I had done at another barbershop. I was told by the owner of Eagle Eye Barber "We don't cut girls' hair here because that would start a stream of girls thinking they could come in and get their hair cut here. I created this as a barber shop for men. Men only. We cannot help you. There is another place down the road that might be able to help you." This is illegal and is a prohibited act as listed in Idaho Statutes: Title 67, Chapter 59 Commission on Human Rights, 67-5909. read more

My old stylist relocated so I had to find a new place and someone to cut my hair and my 3 year olds hair. Decided to stop in here as it was fairly close to home and a good price. Not disappointed with the choice at all. Joe cut our hair, and he was great with my son, and gave him the best hair cut he's ever had!!! My wife's words, and I agree. Came in for a light cut, easy trim to even out a previous cut. This "light trim"turned out to be a disasterous heavy cut that left me with almost a flat top. More than 6 weeks to grow back in. I presume it was the owner; not a good listener and just goes off to cut on his own. Maybe good with kids, but not with this adult. Never to this shop again. read more

A 5 STAR barber shop through and through! The shop was clean and well decorated and nicely furnished. When I went in Carri and Trevor were working, Trevor cut my hair while we all shared in an excellent conversation. Lastly the hair cut, it was one of the best skin fades I have ever gotten, and I have gotten one every week for the past 2+ years. Trevor listened carefully to the cut I wanted and asked questions to make sure he fully understood what I wanted. He took his time on the cut and made sure he got everything just right. Finally he handed me the mirror and told me to make sure that everything I had asked for had been done. He was very receptive to my feed back and fixed anything I had suggested (which was very refreshing as I have had many barbers simply hand me the mirror and start cleaning up). Overall an excellent experience and an even better haircut from a very professional and mature barber. read more
