This place is clean, relaxing and a great, easy location to get to!! Easy parking and some nice restaurants and shops in the area too!! I have been going to Jasmin for over 4 years and she is an expert barber and has great attention to detail! She is professional and nice so whether you want quiet or chatty, she goes with it. Great attention to detail and customer service! read more

Walked in to ask some questions, and get pricing. 4 stylists working, but just one customer in a chair, and 1 receptionist currently on a phone call. Several of the stylists made eye contact with me, but no one smiled, or came to say hello. The receptionist on the phone never turned around to even look at me. 5 mins. later, I walked out. Saturday, 12:15. read more

I was there with my boyfriend today. I was there to tell her how I wanted his hair, which I understand it can irritate stylists sometimes. Regardless I asked for her to just trim up his hair give it a good shape. It was really long about shoulder length. I was specifically with how long I wanted the sides to be. I also told her his fringe needs to be just above his eyebrow no shorter than that. Along with allllll of that I showed her a 2 pictures. One showing the sides and back and the other showing the length of the fringe. Through the course of the appointment she was rude and had an attitude. She told him that he shouldn't be letting nonprofessional (me his girlfriend) cut his hair because it fucks up professional lines. At the end of the appointment she came up to me in the waiting area and told me "it's a little shorter than u asked for but it'll be a good base once it grows out". I shouldn't have paid and I stupidly did. It's absolutely ridiculous his hair was so long there wasn't anything fucked up with it originally. I'm not a professional but I had my mother in law who is licensed helped me through multiple hair cuts and it may not be perfect but it's damn better than what that chick did. I wish I remembered her name but she's the one with her station in the middle in the left side blonde old with bad eyeliner. read more

I've been a customer for two years averaging 2 cuts a month. I had appointment scheduled today but got caught in traffic. I made a courtesy call to let them know my GPS said I'd be 10 minutes late. Bro at the front desk made it clear I could lose my appointment as they have a 10 minute policy before they would give up my spot. I told him I was trying to be courteous by letting them know I would be there, albeit 10 minutes late. Bro made it clear it was policy. So I told him to cancel the appointment. Sorry, Tre. Front desk bro took money out of your pocket. You know I tipped well too. read more

Don't waste your time on this place. I walked in, there wasn't a single customer in the entire place, literally not one person. They refused to cut my hair because I didn't have an appointment and turned me away, what a joke. I can't believe this place is still in business, everybody should boycott them. They are terrible. read more

My uncle has been coming here for years so when my toddler needed a haircut I knew exactly where I was going to take him. The staff were very sweet. His haircut turned out great. My son loved the dirtbike in the front. Super cool vibe in there. No complaints! Thank you! read more

Didn't get the service I booked. Staff was curt and abrupt, borderline rude. Won't be back.

My husband was in need of a haircut desperately. We made an appointment and being new to town were so surprised they were able to get him in quickly. Well he looks amazing and I'm so proud he's rockin his new cut and looking amazing for his first day at his new office. read more

I called ahead but could have done a walk in. John gave me a great haircut for a reasonable price.

Asked for a 0-3 midline fade. You can clearly see no fading was done. I walked out with levels on my head. Find yourself a better barbershop. Absolutely ridiculous read more

Thank you 4 having patience with my boys as they received their hair cuts this evening. They love the motorcycle in the front lobby, and all the fun decor. We'll definitely be back in regular intervals!!! read more

I sent my son to get his haircut, he brought a photo of what he wanted. The haircut he got was nothing like the picture. It's so bad. I feel horrible making my middle school son go to school after this haircut. Jay shaved his hairline at his forehead which was a horrible idea, then did it in an uneven line. It's literally the worst haircut I have ever seen. Took him over an hour. This place used to be good but has gone way downhill! My poor son will remember this forever since this week is school pictures and football pictures and his hair is embarrassing! read more

Update: thank you to the gracious business owner for the message. These things happen, and on that day it was difficult. Called in to ask if there were any walk ins available. Was told that there were, and just to get there before 7:30. This was at 5:30. I headed that way and got there at 6:35 only to be told that the barber that the barber was sitting around and left. The lack of accountability of whoever was on the phone is what leads to the one star. read more

I went in for a cut today and left with the worst haircut I have ever had. The barber started off the haircut telling me that he used to struggle with what I was requesting (A mullet with a fade on the side) which was already making me feel uneasy. He then proceeded to ask how long I wanted my hair on top, I showed him and he cut it significantly shorter. While doing my sides he held the trimmer backwards, moved the wrong direction and left me with a bald line. Which he tried "fixing" by cutting my sides higher in which did not fix anything. While doing the sides he consistently took more off of the top leaving it uneven with a sharp transition into the mullet which was left way too long itself. I am seriously considering buzzing my head due to this and will never be visiting here again. (He did not make me pay due to the bald spot but nonetheless this is the worst haircut I have ever seen or experience at a barber) read more

Heather's haircuts are pure magic. Seriously. I stepped out of Bolder Barbershop yesterday and immediately got asked out on a date. We flew to Vegas, got married, and are expecting our first child. "Too fast," you say? Not as fast as Heather is with those shears. "Careless," you're thinking? I'll tell you who's NOT careless ... you guessed it ... Heather! Total pro. Look, sometimes in life you eat burgers and sometimes you eat steak. If you want a boring, run-of-the-mill, grocery-store-ground-beef haircut there are tons of places to get that. But if you're a dude looking for an A5-Wagyu-level trim, do yourself a favor and go see the good folks at Bolder Barbershop. You never know what could happen when you walk out looking good and feeling great. read more

Are you looking for an amazing haircut? STOP LOOKING! Bolder Barbershop is THE place to go in the valley. I've searched for highs and lows, and so far, this place has truly exceeded my expectations. I have to hand it to Heather. She's cool, fun, personable, and knows how to do a bad ass fade! I literally get compliments all the time the moment I leave the establishment. She is like a family member to me now and I welcome her to anyone of my BBQ's! Heather is bar none the premier haircutter and will make you feel whole again... so thank you Heather. Additionally, you feel warmed and welcomed the moment you walk in the store. There's a beautiful lady who has the warmest eyes that greets you, and make you feel at home. I can't say enough on how that makes me feel because it's like you're home away from home. Elise, you ROCK! Her hospitality is amazing and I love having small chats with her when I walk in, and when I leave. Lastly, the workers there are friendly...and more importantly, the store is CLEAN. If you ask me, this is the best spot in the valley to get your haircut. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you do to for the community to both Heather and Elise and thank you for being my #1 in making me look good for my own future endeavors. I won't be getting a haircut anywhere else, unless they both leave for a different adventure. read more

Jaron is the best. It took me a while to find a good barber in the Eagle/ Meridian area. He is 5 stars. The 4 star rating is only related to 2 others I've tried in this shop. I hope he stays. It is hard to keep up with a good barber read more

So I went in with an idea of getting my first under shave and at first he was doing a good job and then when he showed me the design he had done, it did look a little funky. Little did I know when I got home, my boyfriend took a pic and I realized that there was an extra line on my head? And the others didn't even look good read more

My son and hubby had their first haircuts today at this shop. Megan did a great job. My sister has been a barber for 30 years so I am pretty picky about who does their hair. She did a great fade and they both were pleased. Happy to have found a new barber. read more

Megan does the best fades! I certainly have found a new barber and barbershop. It's clean and in a great location.

My son (Tristan) and I (Matt) went to Bolder Barbershop in Eagle, Idaho today. It was a pleasant all-around experience, and the haircuts were great! We had an appointment so there was no waiting. Shout out to Melissa for a great haircut! Thank you! read more

I told her to trim incrementally so she wouldn't cut too much hair off, and the first time she updated me she already screwed my hair up enough. Literally everything that I told her, she threw out the window. She left no volume on the sides of the top of my head like I specified, left the hair near my neck too long (looked like I was trying to grow a mullet), and made my head look overall round (instead of a more quadrilateral shape, like the pictures I showed her). Worst haircut in a LONG time, not gonna lie. read more

Great staff and nice environment to get a haircut. The location allows for abundant parking at all times of the day,

This review is not for hair cut services, but for the lack of customer service upon walking into the Eagle location. My son and I walked in on Friday evening at 5:30. We knew there was a high probability that we wouldn't get in for a walk-in cut but we were close so we thought we would try. Upon walking in the Bolder employee had his back to us at the front desk area folding towels. He never turned around to knowledge or greet us. We finally asked if there was availability for a walk in cut. He proceeded to keep folding towels and started mumbling something. All we could make out was Saturday so we figured we couldn't get in. We told him no thank you and left. It is amazing how little customer service there is these days. First impressions are everything for a business and Bolder needs to require it's employees to offer high customer service in all areas. read more

I Love the atmosphere, talented hair stylist but a bit pricier if you can handle it. I will return.

I was looking for a place for my nine-year-old son and I to get a haircut as a father and son day type of thing. So we thought we would give Bolder barber shop at try. My son and I both got our cuts from Haley LaRue and she did a fantastic job. It was a cool place to get your haircut and Haley is the best. I Highly recommend this shop. read more

Got a great haircut at the Eagle Rd. store, good straight razor shave and nice neck massage, all included at the normal price which was reasonable. I'm hard to please when it comes to my haircuts, and I left very satisfied with the skill of my barber. Will be going back when I get shaggy again. My only suggestion for improvement would be to please screen the music being played so it doesn't contain profanity. Probably just a Spotify station, but a couple songs were grating against my sensibilities in that regard. read more

Was referred to the Eagle shop by a friend and told to get an appointment with Aaron. It has always been difficult to communicate exactly how I want my haircut but Aaron listened and cut my hair just how I wanted it. It was nice that he faced the mirror while cutting my hair so I could see what he was doing. Too many shops have you turned away from the mirror and the final product is a mystery until its too late. I will definitely be returning. read more

Great place. Very reasonable prices. You can make an appointment, there's plenty of parking.

Tasha is absolutely phenomenal at what she does! I'm one of those guys that is very particular about their hair, and I am always confident that Tasha will do an amazing job...not to mention the neck shave with a straight razor and shoulder massage! Plus, being able to make an appointment through the app makes it so much easier to plan my day! read more
