I sent my son to get his haircut, he brought a photo of what he wanted. The haircut he got was nothing like the picture. It's so bad. I feel horrible making my middle school son go to school after this haircut. Jay shaved his hairline at his forehead which was a horrible idea, then did it in an uneven line. It's literally the worst haircut I have ever seen. Took him over an hour. This place used to be good but has gone way downhill! I went in for a cut today and left with the worst haircut I have ever had. The barber started off the haircut telling me that he used to struggle with what I was requesting (A mullet with a fade on the side) which was already making me feel uneasy. He then proceeded to ask how long I wanted my hair on top, I showed him and he cut it significantly shorter. While doing my sides he held the trimmer backwards, moved the wrong direction and left me with a bald line. Which he tried "fixing" by cutting my sides higher in which did not fix anything. While doing the sides he consistently took more off of the top leaving it uneven with a sharp transition into the mullet which was left way too long itself. I am seriously considering buzzing my head due to this and will never be visiting here again. (He did not make me pay due to the bald spot but nonetheless this is the worst haircut I have ever seen or experience at a barber) read more

Was told that there were, and just to get there before 7:30. This was at 5:30. I headed that way and got there at 6:35 only to be told that the barber that the barber was sitting around and left. I told her to trim incrementally so she wouldn't cut too much hair off, and the first time she updated me she already screwed my hair up enough. Literally everything that I told her, she threw out the window. She left no volume on the sides of the top of my head like I specified, left the hair near my neck too long (looked like I was trying to grow a mullet), and made my head look overall round (instead of a more quadrilateral shape, like the pictures I showed her). This review is not for hair cut services, but for the lack of customer service upon walking into the Eagle location. My son and I walked in on Friday evening at 5:30. We knew there was a high probability that we wouldn't get in for a walk-in cut but we were close so we thought we would try. Upon walking in the Bolder employee had his back to us at the front desk area folding towels. He never turned around to knowledge or greet us. We finally asked if there was availability for a walk in cut. He proceeded to keep folding towels and started mumbling something. All we could make out was Saturday so we figured we couldn't get in. We told him no thank you and left. It is amazing how little customer service there is these days. First impressions are everything for a business and Bolder needs to require it's employees to offer high customer service in all areas. read more

Got a great haircut at the Eagle Rd. store, good straight razor shave and nice neck massage, all included at the normal price which was reasonable. I'm hard to please when it comes to my haircuts, and I left very satisfied with the skill of my barber. Will be going back when I get shaggy again. My only suggestion for improvement would be to please screen the music being played so it doesn't contain profanity. It has always been difficult to communicate exactly how I want my haircut but Aaron listened and cut my hair just how I wanted it. It was nice that he faced the mirror while cutting my hair so I could see what he was doing. Too many shops have you turned away from the mirror and the final product is a mystery until its too late. I went here because my favorite barber moved and I'm waiting to see where they went, but this is the worst haircut I've ever gotten. First I get there, after a long day at school, and the guy starts making fun of the hair gel I'm using. Fine whatever, I could care less. Then, as he's cutting the side of my head, he keeps slapping the side of my head with the cutter. This obviously hurts. Third, he shaves my neck with what feels like a dull blade. I use a straight razor at home as well as a DE razor, and I can tell a dull razor from a sharp one pretty well. He also didn't shave the back of my entire neck.Fourth, and this is the most infuriating, he brushes my face with this massive shaving brush that has a ton of other people hair in it. Are you shitting me? I left a $2 tip on a $21 bill because I know tips are a big deal, then I got to my truck and discovered the neck shave botch job. I wouldn't have tipped anything had I figure it out before they rang me up. Save your money, go to Redlands, I've never had a bad experience there. Shame on these guys, terrible job and you've lose me as a customer. Shame read more
