Not only will I never return to this business again, I would actively advise against anyone else trusting themselves in the care of this practice. I came in for three cavities (seems simple enough) : I have had cavities filled at this dentist before as well as had deep cleanings completed at this dentist before. None of those prior experiences were a problem until this cavity appointment. Upon arrival I was paired with an assistant (?), Danielle, and here is where the nightmare begins. Dr. Singh completes removal of my cavities with minor sensitivity, all that is left is Danielle's responsibility to fill said-cavities with resin. It is clear from the beginning of the process that Danielle is lacking competence to complete this simple service alone w/o supervision. She is filling my mouth so so many pieces of wood/rubber/stoppers from the jump to keep it open (and complaining about it the entire time), I am at the point of gagging. Then, as she is filling the pre-drilled teeth with resin she is consistently under her breath making "oopsie!" type comments. At one point she openly tells me that she even accidentally got resin on teeth she wasn't supposed to. Somehow, with obscene amounts of rubber and wood stoppers in my mouth, this is still my fault per her commentary. Eventually, after aggressively trying to pick resin out of my teeth (why would that be happening during a cavity beyond a mistake made), she pulls out a drill to "polish" the teeth. She then proceeds to drill various teeth (remember I only had three cavities) for 15+ minutes. Keep in mind the botched resin process has took so long, my numbing is now starting to wear off making the drilling process relatively painful. Eventually, I request a break to use the restroom and express my discomfort. At this point we are over an hour into the appointment (for three minor superficial cavities). When I express discomfort over the time this is taking, the feeling of excessive drilling, and the pain of the drill - I am scolded by Danielle with immediate defensiveness. Shes not "drilling" but "just polishing!" apparently. This is the point another staff member should have been tapped in by Danielle. Her ego would not allow her to request help or a second set of eyes, so as I return from the bathroom she again scolds me before beginning the drilling again explaining that I "need to relax and sit still." (I am a fully aware adult that has no problem sitting still, nor has ever received this complaint from another staff member so this is again defensive bogus to avoid self reflection, empathy or accountability). She then switched to a different drill that would be slower and continues working. Shortly after this, she removes the drill from my mouth and as she is doing so completely cuts open my lip. Again - I had a LOT of material holding my mouth open. How she even did this is astounding to begin with. Not once did Danielle apologize what happened, or even acknowledge to me that she had just busted my lip open. I had to see it bleeding through the reflection of the dental light. I then explain that I feel deeply uncomfortable and like something isn't right and we need someone else to step in immediately. Danielle then continues to argue with me, claim that I was moving too much, needed to calm down, she was just doing her job, etc. Another hygienist (?) overheard Danielle's disrespect and immediately jumped in to save me (THANK YOU). Danielle then continued to taunt me as I was in the chair bleeding, exclaiming "make sure you sit super still for her this time!" Etc. Coincidentally, the second hygienist was able to fix the resin issue and finish up without pain in minutes. Then, following this assault I was still required to pay for my service (with a SMALL discount) and told that "mistakes happen" amidst apologies that do not account for the fact that I just paid to be botched. Danielle should be fired before this happens to a more vulnerable client, and I should have had my bill wiped for the physical and emotional trauma. Expect this review on every platform, the accompanying BBB complaint, and formal complaints to state licensing and regulatory agencies. What a disrespectful joke. ***I have updated to include a picture of how this is healing - I am most likely going to have a permanent scar on my face from this experience of unqualified staff with attitude problems/incompetence.****

Shady Scammy When…read morebooking i had to do the receptionist's job Insurance, pricing, how soon i'd be going back to my dentist, clarifying the exact procedure i'd be getting, and x-rays. everyone i spoke to was unpleasant. it took months for me to actually get the procedure done and the day of, two hours before they called to verify information. L O L. there was much back & forth and refusal from them to use x-rays i already had done from my dentist and to accept what i was getting done and nothing else. every conversation they kept giving me a range of pricing i might owe because i might need some thing that i made clear my dentist was doing, alarming. "i already have x-rays they've been sent to you", they'd act puzzled and say it's IMPOSSIBLE for them to open them. Dr Pfotenhauer and his assistant were great. I felt comfortable and they explained everything being done. I am very (touch) sensitive and had no issues. i would love to recommend him personally but i don't think dealing with the front office staff is worth it at alllll. they don't take payments but pricing is $500+ for procedures and they want a card on file. i paid cash.

Everyone I have dealt with is AMAZING, and the way they treat you let's you know that they really care. They will get you in very quickly, and they actually call and text you the days after just to check on you and make sure everything is going well. I have been there 2 separate times and each Doctor was great, but I will tell you that Dr. Joseph B. Adams is the most thorough, caring, and all around pleasant Doctor I have ever encountered. My first appointment, they were very thorough and made sure to explain everything that would be happening. I was able to ask questions and get the answers right then. The treatment I had took much less time than I expected. The endodontist was quick but does quality work. My dentist praised their work when I came back for follow ups, saying they did a great job--and usually do. My second appointment, they seemed less inclined to explain everything and more interested in getting things done. I had a mishap where I wasn't given enough numbing and felt a jolt of pain through my tooth while they were working. I'd told them I needed more than most people--genetic thing, unfortunately. He said he would give me more than he usually did, but not as much as the first time since they weren't doing as much invasive work. They said they didn't want me numb all day. But I'd rather take longer for it to wear off than feel that in the middle of a procedure. I was a bit miffed since I told them my needs multiple times. I mentioned I could feel something uncomfortable as they were propping me before the endodontist got started and the assistants made it sound like it was normal to feel it because of the type of tool they were using. It obviously wasn't because I then had the jolt of pain during the actual procedure. If I have to come back at some point, I'd advocate more forcefully for myself in that regard. But again, that was my only problem. They were very professional, kind, and didn't mind me bringing my weighted blanket or wearing my headphones the whole time. The end result was good according to my dentist. So I'd still recommend them.

Now that it's over I fell like a goober for how scared I was this morning. I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to the dentist...going to the endodontist would be a nightmare. Let me tell you, getting a root canal is not bad at all! Or maybe it's Dr. Ramsey and Annie! They brought me in and took great care of me. I was in and out in an hour and most of that was X-rays because Dr. Ramsey wanted to make sure the packing was perfect. I hardly felt a thing! Even now that I'm not numb anymore, I don't have any pain! None. I've always heard horror stories about root canals. Mine was a piece of cake. Seriously, I've had fillings that were worse. I cannot recommend Dr Ramsey enough!
