Although the waist size itself was reduced, the way it was done was simply by folding and sewing the waistband, which created a noticeable bump right on my hip bone and made the jeans uncomfortable to wear. Because of this, I had to bring the jeans back to be redone. When I returned, the lady at the counter insisted that I had not paid for the service, even though I had already paid $59.12 for the jeans alterations. I had to search through my credit card charges to prove that the payment had already been made. Unfortunately, the top also had to be redone because the straps were not adjusted properly the first time. Throughout the process, I felt that my concerns were not really listened to. What was most upsetting was being spoken to very aggressively and even yelled at in front of my child while trying to resolve the situation. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the quality of the work and the way the situation was handled left me very disappointed.

In this last visit, I needed a pair of pants hemmed and they were able to accomplish the task with no fuss or dely. The time quoted for completion was when the pants were ready and the job was done exactly as requested. The price for a pair of pants to be hemmed was, unfortunately, high but that is also the norm everywhere you call for alterations. $16 in my case so just be aware that the cost to alter might be on par with the cost of a new pair of jeans ($22).
