    They don't stay true to their hours. Went in to finish up a purchase on a car and they closed 30 minutes early.

His son, Johnny Pittman Jr., is following in his father's footsteps and is part of that family and company. They're honest - hard working folks, and John's wife is right there with them, keeping the books and involved with helping to run the business. The name (Pittman Motor Co) has been the same, and recognized in Lindale, Texas for 20 years. If you enjoy dealing with a really great company for your next vehicle, go see John and his family, you won't be sorry . So, without further ado..... This was the absolute best experience that I (or anyone I've known) have ever had buying a car. My situation is pretty dire. My husband is very sick, we've hit financial unbelievable hardships and I was out of a vehicle. My folks (God bless them!) had been, unbeknownst to me, looking for a replacement they could get for me. And, by a miracle, chanced upon Pittman's. I can't begin to tell you how fortunate I am for that. First, the Pittmans are incredibly friendly, kind, warm and compassionate people. They were extremely sympathetic to our circumstances and listened patiently to all our concerns. They worked within my family's price range to get us into a car that was both dependable and affordable in the long haul (IE: gas mileage and upkeep). They were knowledgable about their products and were willing to go the extra mile to help us. Further, their employee, Billy, was a treasure. He made sure that the car we chose was in top notch condition above the excellent service provided. In general, I simply can't say enough good things about the entire staff. They're all saints in my book. Second, they really stand by what they sell. Apparently, we were the first customers to benefit from their new warranty program. Each used car now comes with a four month warranty, which includes up to $1,500 in certain repairs, roadside assistance and other perks completely unheard of in the used car business. Then, they threw in some of the most incredible extras: in-depth detailing, an oil change, a topped off tank of gas and, most unbelievable of all, a brand new set of tires. How amazing! I understand they undoubtedly wouldn't do that for every customer, but I am here to tell you how shocked we were that they would do something so wonderfully astounding for us. Considering it would've taken me forever to save enough money to do that myself, this was a godsend. I mean, wow. Finally, they also on the day of pick up, had a really beat surprise for me. I wasn't raised in the country, so I was enamored by some of the restorations found on their showroom floor. One of which was a lovely old tractor. Well, when we got there, they'd brought it out for me to drive around the parking lot for a while. How cool is that? For this former city girl, I was in heaven. Not many companies would ever go through so much trouble to make your shopping experience such an unmitigated success. And my family was so impressed by Pittman's every step of the way, that they not only bought this car as a gift for me, but found them an awesome SUV as well. Plus, my mom who is a very shrewd consumer, trusted John and Marla so much, that she sold them her beloved older pickup. It was just a win-win-win situation. In closing, I highly recommend Pittman Motors. If I'm ever in the market to buy another vehicle (which I can't imagine -- this one is so perfect, I bet it'll last forever), I have every confidence that they'll have exactly what I need and will be able to afford. I'll never shop anywhere else again and I'm equally certain that my folks feel the same way. I will gladly tell everyone I know to give them a try and see how extraordinary they are. I HIGHLY recommend them. 100 out of 5 stars. :) Thank you, Pittman Motor family. You all are angels.

They worked very hard to build the sale. And have been able to keep us as a customer. They save you money. They have the selections and comparisons. They are knowledgeable and had us outfitted to a T. Thank you Steven, David, Maria, and all the others on the floor and garage team. We got a bunk house light from Coleman. It matched our towing capacity, budget, and mission. Give them a visit.

    I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service we received during our recent visit…read more My partner and I had a scheduled appointment, yet we waited approximately 2-3 hours without assistance, while other customers who arrived after us were helped first. We were later informed that the delay occurred because the sales team assumed, based solely on my last name, that we only spoke Spanish. As a result, we were told to wait constantly which ended up being for a Spanish-speaking representative--despite the fact that I do not speak Spanish and never requested such assistance.This situation was both frustrating and concerning. Making assumptions about customers based on their name is inappropriate and unprofessional. Not only did this result in a significant waste of our time, but it also left us feeling unfairly stereotyped. I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed to ensure that future customers are treated with fairness, respect, and without bias. And yes I did make two separate reviews because no business who deals with the finances of people with many different backgrounds should make assumptions.
