Washer kept giving error in rinse cycle & now will not even start. We came here about 1100 AM on a Saturday. First of all, these speed Queen washers are the bomb. I saw people loading a whole baseball team worth of clothes & they just got swallowed right up. Dryers are huge too. No noise or broken machines when they are running. Now the price is high for this; starting at $7.50 for the washer & $3.25 for the dryer. I can't complain as I already spent $300 on a dryer, THIS WEEK. LOL. Attendant was cleaning the store the whole time & the Gator Ade Zero is a cheap as the water. Comfortable seats & clean restrooms. Even after I get my washer fixed, I'll probable be back. 5-stars

This was a pretty interesting experience. When I walked in, there was a front desk where a friendly lady (At the time) is there to help customers out if they have any questions or new like me. She will walk you through every step of what machine sizes you need based on your load and type of laundry. The machines themselves are relatively self-explanatory, as far as, wash type and water temperature needed for the washing machine's and drying temperatures for the dryers. They have a cash to card system where you put in a certain amount of cash on a card she provides you based on the machine used. Once that is determined, she'll then proceed to take the cash amount provided and use a touchscreen kiosk to transfer the cash to the card. There is a $1 deposit for the use of the card which gets returned back afterwards, as long as, you didn't lose it. Any amount still left on the card at the end of your washing/drying experience gets returned to you including the deposit. The facilities at this location is very clean and large enough to accommodate the decent number of people. There is a snack machine, arcade machines, TV, plenty of seating, laundry soap machine dispenser, and restrooms for the customers comfort. They also provide throughout the facilities these laundry rolling carts to transfer your laundry around the facilities and/or back-and-forth to and from your car, etc. Anytime I have a special load that can't be used in my home washing machine and dryer, I will definitely consider this place again next time. Sidenote: they do offer laundry services here for those that do not want to wait in the laundromat. The staff here will do them for you for a fee.

I brought eight valuable garments to GEM Dry Cleaners, including two custom three-piece suits with Italian fabric and buttons, a $500 long coat, and a $200 suede jacket. Every item was damaged. Buttons were loose, seams were torn, and most upsettingly, and without my consent, they ironed sticker labels directly into the fabric of every piece, leaving permanent, burn-like marks. I was never informed this would happen, nor given the option to use pins--a safer more standard method used by most reputable dry cleaners. When I questioned it, the owner, Bryan McNatt, claimed there were signs. The only one I found was hidden behind the counter, barely visible. Others were small printouts, covered by card readers and equipment. Even Bryan admitted the signs were hard to see, which makes it even more perplexing that nothing was said to me during drop-off. I contacted no one, yet Bryan called me personally at 8 a.m. from his cell phone (which I assume he retrieved from the customer system), yelled at and berated me, and offered a mere $36.45 partial refund for the damage of thousands of dollars worth of items. I did not accept the offer because of how inappropriate it was. I spoke calmly and expressed I wanted to handle this amicably, but he was immediately defensive, dismissive, offensive, and said I must be struggling financially to care about the damage. When I said I may have to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, he told me to do whatever I needed and banned me from returning. The staff were also rude. One employee was visibly wearing a court-issued ankle monitor while working. While everyone deserves employment and second chances, I believe this anecdote unfortunately gives insight into the deeper issue -- a clear lack of professionalism, accountability, respect across the board, and oversight at this business. The garments are permanently damaged, and nothing can undo that. This was one of the most frustrating, heartbreaking experiences I have ever had with a business. I trusted them with irreplaceable items, and they treated me and my concerns with absolute disregard. Please read through the many other similar reviews. I am far from the only one who has experienced destroyed clothing and mistreatment at this establishment. I am sure they will try to twist and make up some way to rebut this, so I have decided to include some of the photographs of the damaged garments and the obscured signage with this review so that others can see the truth for themselves. I sincerely hope this helps at least one other person avoid the same loss.

I was assured that if I brought my items in at 7:00 am that I could pick them up at 7:00 am the next day. I didn't quite arrive at 7:00 am but that wasn't the issue. There was some type of maintenance going on which prevented the turnaround time I'd been told. It was disappointing but not the end of the world. I picked up my items after my extended weekend. The folks over there seem very friendly and pleasant. The prices seem to be competitive. I'm sure I will be back to get a feeling about them being my new neighborhood cleaners.

I was greeted by a friendly woman at the counter. She asked how much starch I wanted and when I needed it by. I was in no rush and I didn't really know anything out starch. She explained it to me simply and I went with light. I was told two days until pick-up and a dry clean for a shirt is only $2.99. The shirt was perfectly cleaned and looked great! I was so impressed, I went back and had it cleaned again with my jacket this time and a dress for my wife. This place has decent hours. You can pick up until 7pm most evenings. They do alterations and repairs as well, and open early so you can drop off your items on your way to work.
