I said how I couldn't take 2 hours off work but I work 20 mins away, so if the drivers could call I could head that way. She replies that "the guys should be calling momentarily, we do not provide a window." So I compromise and ask for a 10 min window. She again texts "Your arrival is 9:30 - 11:30 in the text above. Let me know if you do not have someone ready to receive". So I call and get a female dispatch (Arriane / Kristina something) and state how I'm confused that if the drivers call when they're on the way how are they not able to tell how far out they are? She snaps at me "DON'T TELL US HOW TO DO OUR JOB". Incredibly rude, disrespectful, and absolutely unprofessional. The drivers then arrive, without a phone call. So apparently someone DOES need to tell them how to do their job. Btw- no "white glove" service as stated by Satvaa. No paper boots, didn't even bother wiping their feet on the multiple door mats. Just tracked dirt all through the house as apparently it's the customers responsibility to lay down plastic. Unbelievable.... Hope you never have to ever work with them. You've been warned.

I was notified a few days in advance of the estimated drop off time which was accurate. The driver walked me through the process with instructions on how to load, lock and secure. Delivery, EXCELLENT!! Pricing, REASONABLE!!! (no hidden fees) Communication/Tracking, ACCEPTABLE!!! We have no complaints and recommend UPack to anyone moving from state to state!!!

This is the absolute worst moving company in the business. They then lie on the phone about the contract and pressure you into signing a contract without reading what it says which is not what they verbally say. When movers arrive....a day late, they charge you TWO times as much as they quoted because they think they can stick you when you are vulnerable. I will spread the word everywhere about how horrendous this company is. Do not use them under any circumstances.

It also seems that the owner is very hands on which is very hard to find with some companies. When we moved we didn't have any breakage but, we did purchase insurance just in case. As with any moving company we knew the risks and wanted to protect ourselves but the guys did a great job with no breakage! The rates were also very reasonable. Kudos to a careful and conscientious moving service. Great respect shown for all of my items and care taken not to damage them. Movers showed up promptly at the pre-arranged time, and leading up to the move, there were several communications to guarantee time of the meeting and the plan. Upfront communication of pricing, expected services to be provided. Nate was always immediately available by either text or phone. I plan on using this company again when I move away from the Syracuse area as part of a planned move in 2018. While I did see other moving companies online with competitive rates, the difference in price was small and the service rendered by this company would be hard to beat. Very pleased with no regrets on this transaction.

After a truck trouble delay (not their fault) the 4 guys got right to work with Nate directing the furniture/box Tetris. They respected my belongings (wrapping delicate pieces and watching tight spots) and didn't complain about the stairs or heavy-ass Peloton bike. Loading up always takes longer but the team powered through and emptied the truck quickly at our destination. They even took a moment to celebrate my awesome new basement. Nate quoted me on the high end and came in under budget (which I appreciate much more than the reverse situation!). Have already recommended Mountain Movers to my network.
