We live bicoastally so every-time I'd come to this house, I was experiencing severe allergies and asthma symptoms. Finally on my last trip out to Ohio i decided to have Hepaclean come out. A few reasons why I called Sean. - he quickly responded to my inquiry - was willing to explain his detailed process, that it's chemically free and even gave me a generalized estimate over the phone - he was ok with me calling around and checking around. - he was very reasonably priced compared to some of the services. Not the least expensive but also seemed most trustworthy, fair and honest. - flexibility w my schedule He and his wife came out. They were very thorough at counting all the registers and returns. Used a camera to look into all the vents and took before pics (yuck). Sean and team took an extraordinary amount of time and detail to clean every vent from opening to furnace, as they were far dirtier than either of us expected. Sean showed me the "after" pics and the vents/returns/pipes looked nearly brand new. I have to say, nearly immediately I noticed a diff in the air in the house. With in a day my symptoms subsided. Also we noticed much less dirt on the floors which was huge as I would mop n mop daily and still have black filth on the mop pads. Thank you Sean and Hepaclean team.

I thought that was very rude. He didn't introduce himself or anything. Then he goes on to lecture me about smoking, and how he quit with laser treatment. This went on for about 10 minutes. All I asked was that the ducts get clean, and not a lecture. I also asked him for a receipt, and he said that he would e-mail me one. So I gave him my e-mail address, and I haven't seen it since we had the ducts done on 10/29/20. I find this very bad business, and will think about twice about using them again.

The aftermath was our AC unit was knocked out of phase and just sounded terrible! We called DeAngelis as we were unaware of the power problems and they were amazing sending out very professional and courteous techs to investigate. They said they would 'stay' until we figure this out even though, as I said, the issue actually was power/grid related. The front office staff (Angela) responded immediately and was beyond cordial. The owner (Chris) also called to try to help fix an issue which turned out to be nothing to do with the unit after all. But what a mess for 3 days..... we were all stumped. This is the type of company you want to do business with. They stick with you and want nothing more than to fix the issue. And they never even charged us for two visits. I can't say enough about them and their customer service - an art that is lost on so many contractors these days! Use them. You won't regret it.

They scheduled me for first thing in the morning (without an emergency service charge) the guys should up bright and early and fixed my unit quickly. Then proceeds to give me a little diddy about replacement like I am being fed a line--no trouble shooting or anything aside from hooking up the gauges. I ask him what about finding the leak. He goes on about $900 to fill and try to find a leak with no guarantee. I say "huh???". Then quotes me an astonishing $112 / lb R22. Basically his whole schtick was coming to say "yeah, it's broke and we can sell you a whole new one". Lame service call if you ask me. Complete waste of time and out $80. Just as an FYI: called Broadview Heating and Cooling immediately after. They come over, I tell them the same thing. They fill up some refridgerant to get it going and found the leak (I believe with electronic device). Just as an FYI: quoted service visit $79, additional work ours at $89/hr, and R22 at $55/lb. That's honest and up front.
