Just want to give a shout out Jackson Comfort staff & installers. We had a furnace & I wave installed. Cody & Billy were quick & efficient, they put down dropcloths & kept the carpeting clean. Very polite & had both installed in 4 hours. We are very pleased with out new equipment. We also got a quote for a hot water tank installation & although there was a communication delay due to sickness in their company, they will honor their quote & install it on Monday. In July, 2025, I requested a service call to diagnose a back up sump pump issue. The repair person told me that the motor was burned out and the pump needed to be replaced at a cost 3X higher than the original pump. Long story, short . .. I reached out to the manufacturer of the pump to diagnose the issue and they sent the replacement part. I believe Jackson Comfort repair isn't out to repair but to replace! read more

UPDATE: Doug (Owner) your prompt response to my original Yelp review is appreciated but surprising considering I had to make multiple phone calls to Emily before Mike Hudson called me back. The "multiple efforts" that you spoke of were on my part, not yours. Thank you though for acknowledging that my hot water tank is under warranty. Unfortunately, you continue to miss the point of the civil complaint. I've never asked Jackson to "remove, process, and dispose of the current tank and install a new one". The warranty does not require any of these things that you say and this is confirmed by the manufacturer, your supplier, and the print of the original purchase contract. In fact, not only am I entitled to a replacement hot water tank, but I can also do whatever I want with it including giving it to a neighbor or even putting it in the corner of my living room, decorating it with lights and placing Christmas presents around it. Once again, all I have asked in my multiple efforts to resolve this issue before filing a small claims case is that Jackson uphold the terms of the warranty. On a side note, Jackson says all calls are recorded for quality assurance. Please bring the recorded call to court when Mike Hudson eventually called me back. I think the court will enjoy hearing Mike fumble through multiple excuses as to why Jackson refused to honor the warranty. See you soon. I FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST JACKSON COMFORT. Matt and Max worked all day to give me an experience with my new furnace that I won't soon forget! After getting my new furnace in (by removing doors and moving furniture) they found that my wiring was not compatible with the newer version of my old furnace! They had to uninstall it, drive to Sebring to get one that IS compatible and bring THAT one in! They had laid drop cloths all over the dolly's path and were meticulous with my property. They even brought in a heater for me so I wouldn't be cold while they were gone! (My furnace/AC is in a bedroom closet and they put it back together for me!) I wish I had thought to offer them a tip; but I doubt if they would have accepted one anyway! That's how I view these wonderful, dutiful employees you have! I had Jackson give me an estimate on Nov.14 to replace a 10 foot section of gas piping in my garage (out in the open). The estimate was for 2,700.00! The next day I had ARS Rescue Rooter replace the pipe for 375.00! I`ve used Jackson in the past for my furnace replacement (spring of 2024) and now I wonder if I paid too much!! Tim T. read more

The work was done great. But after he was done he said the price was $650 vs $93. It may have been worth it to get a clean drain etc. but they should have disclosed the price before he went to work. FYI he was here about an hour. $650 for an hour seems very high. read more

A/C malfunctioned during a recent heat wave. I begrudgingly paid the $250 emergency service fee, but then they wanted to charge me ~$360 to replace a $10 capacitor. The tech was a nice guy, but damn, no thanks! I went and purchased (3) capacitors at a local HVAC supply store and replaced it myself in less than (5) minutes. This sort of thing isn't even remotely fair. This company should be ashamed of themselves. read more

Had a small crisis yesterday and Brandon with Jackson Comfort came to the rescue! Around 815am, I noticed a drop in water pressure while washing my hands. I thought this was strange and went to the basement to discover the water heater had failed and water was moving across the basement floor, heading for the finished side of the basement. I turned off the water to the house and called Jackson Comfort for help. I was told that a technician would be at my house within the hour. Actually, Brandon arrived within 25 minutes, assessed the situation, provided a proposal, and once accepted he went to the shop to get a new water heater and expansion tank and had everything installed by 12pm! He took the damaged water heater away, and even cleaned up the water that had spilled out on the floor from the old unit! Brandon was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. We have used Jackson Heating for over 20 years and are on their yearly maintenance plan. Saturday, we woke up to discover that our furnace was not putting out heat and the house temperature was dropping, so I called their emergency 24x7 number. After not hearing back from them for over 3 hours, I called their office and was finally able to schedule somebody to come out to look at the furnace. Finally, after waiting for over 8 hours, a technician showed up, diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes, but said the office would need to order a part on Monday and it would be Tuesday before they would come back to install it. (i.e. no heat for at least another 48-72 hours, with outside temperatures below freezing). When we asked what we were going to do for heat, the technician left us 4 small space heaters that were rated for small rooms. (We have a 3,000+ sq. ft house). As the temperature in the house continued to drop, we had to go out in blizzard conditions and purchase additional space heaters. On Sunday morning, the first floor of our house was registering 50 degrees, with the second floor much colder. Searched around for another company, within 5 minutes of contacting their 24x7 emergency number, I received a call back, explained the issue, gave them the furnace details and was told let us see what we can do for you. They called back within a 1/2 hour said they could get the part, explained the costs and we agreed to proceed. They said their technician would arrive in roughly 1 1/2 hours because he had to go pick up the part. The technician arrived has promised, stayed full masked (unlike the other technician) while in the house and had the furnace up and running within 1 hour. On Monday before I called Jackson to cancel any ordering of the part, we received a work estimate quote for replacing the broken part, and that estimate was approximately $1,000 more than what we paid on Sunday to the other company. Word of Advice if you have a geo-thermal system: Do NOT call Jackson. They claim to have the ability to diagnose and repair Water Furnace brand, but I can tell you first hand that they do not. In my case, they charged me $89 to tell me it was broken and was instructed to run on EM heat until they got back to me with an estimate. 4 weeks and still waiting. I called another HVAC company, who was able to diagnose and repair in one trip. Also, the kicker is, Comfort would've replaced the wrong part. It was something totally different than what their 'Best Geothermal Tech" determined. Stay Clear of Jackson Comfort. read more

My sister has to go to ER. When she got home, NO HEAT. Called Jackson and they came out the same day. It ended up being something dirty by the sensor. They cleaned it and got her heat. I told her she should have it checked before it got cold but she did not ‍. read more

They utterly misdiagnosed the problem with my heating system. On top of that took it took a month of me begging for a quote to even hear back from them, after I had given them a couple hundred bucks just to come out to my house. The tech did insist I watch a couple "funny" internet videos with him, but I'm not sure that was worth the fee. One of the most aggravating service businesses I've ever dealt with. read more
