I scheduled this company to install a water heater that I had purchased and was quoted $187 per…read morehour depending on how long the job took when I spoke with Charlie. The technician who arrived was a different person. He arrived at approximately 9:30 AM and finished cleaning up and removing the old heater around 11:22 AM (under two hours on site). After the work was completed, I was presented with an invoice for over $800 based on 4 hours of "port-to-port" billing that had never been mentioned when the job was scheduled. When I questioned the extremely high bill, the technician first said it included an hour of travel time. I pointed out the company is about 20 minutes away. He then said the charge also included time loading his truck, even though I had purchased the water heater and he did not need to bring any major parts for the installation. While preparing the invoice, the technician spent about 15 minutes on the phone. I then personally called Charlie (the person I originally spoke with). During that conversation, Charlie stated a half hour port-to-port travel charge should apply, but no port-to-port billing had ever been disclosed when the job was scheduled. Charlie said he would call the technician. After that conversation, the technician returned with a revised invoice for 3.5 hours totaling over $600. Because I was quoted an hourly rate based on the time it took, I paid for two hours of labor based on the quoted hourly rate, even though the work itself took less than two hours. After mentioning the situation to a neighbor, they told me they had a similar experience with this company involving unexpected travel charges. If you consider using this company, make sure you get all pricing and billing policies in writing beforehand -- or better yet, save yourself the stress and money.

We had multiple contractors asses our home furnace and they either never showed or showed up…read morehorribly late ....Chris said he would be at our home at 8am and he arrived by 745! The other companies/contractors gave us quotes that were so unrealistic and outrageous. Chris was THE ONLY contractor who could tell us that we actually had floor registers that, what we thought were returns, were actually false! He fixed our problems and gave us a quote that was far under the competitors and was so much more realistic!! Chris didn't sugar coat, b.s or try and sell us crap we didn't need! He didn't try and take advantage of the our situation, like others did! We absolutely LOVE our new furnace!! Chris followed up when he said he would. Showed up when he said he would and followed up with a token of thanks! I would recommend Chris in a heart beat!!

C.J.'s just installed an amazing boiler (uses oil) in my home. We had called them for service on…read morethe existing 22 + yr. system and found that it was unsafe-ready to start a fire and giving off dangerous carbon monoxide fumes. The new system was not your average installation, my home is about 4000 sq ft., has radiant heat all throughout the first floor under tile and hardwood, a large water heater (previously run on electricity), and an air handler on the second floor that is used for AC and heating. The installation took several days with some major re-piping. The C.J.'s crew worked tirelessly, overcoming some challenges and making sure that the new system was perfect. Here are the main takeaways from my experience that are not usually found in other HVAC companies: C.J.'s embodies the true meaning of INTEGRITY, STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE, SINCERE HARD WORK, and FAIR PRICES! Next week C.J.'s will be installing another upgrade to my system-a Well Expansion Tank. I TRUST THEM--and that means EVERYTHING!
