I want to get strong now to prevent any of that happening in my future and I am so glad I decided to try some classes. I am currently taking Zumba Gold and Tai Chi and really loving both. I have absolutely noticed how my legs have gotten stronger and I feel more confident walking with improved posture and balance. Molly Roffman, the owner and instructor at StepWISEnow, is a physical therapist. She is so knowledgable about balance and fall risk and gives talks to medical professionals about its importance. Molly is an excellent and patient instructor. Her enthusiasm is infectious and when we're doing Zumba Gold, it's so much fun, you don't even feel like you're working out. Tai Chi class has made me stronger and feel so graceful, which is something new for me. If you have been thinking about your balance or have friends or relatives you might be concerned about, you need to come here. It's a warm, comforting and supportive place. Molly also offers a separate workshop on balance training, which has been very popular in the studio. Our neighborhood is so lucky to have StepWISEnow. Support your local business and come take a class. Or like me, take two! Oh and I did I mention that your first class is FREE? Come to the studio and let's get stronger together!

The teachers here are so talented and make class fun! Class size can range from 3-10 people in a class as some don't pay for the full semester and some people pay per class they drop into. They even do fun evening events where you can have a glass of wine and learn different dance styles. I took the hip hop one and had a ton of fun! If you're looking for a fun no pressure environment to get back into something you used to do as a child or start something new, I can't recommend trying out a class at RDA enough !!!

Known specifically for its high level of Modern dance training, Steffi Nossen attracts some of the best teachers and choreographers in the industry. The difference? The Steffi community is truly a family. My sisters and I all danced here and have made friendships that have lasted far beyond our high school years. While some who train here go on to a professional dance career, others have continued to find the joy of dance in all aspects of their life. We were able to work with choreographers like Patrick Corbin, Sidra Bell, Peter Pucci, Nancy Lushington, Michael Foley, Annmaria Mazzini, Sabatino Verlezza and Pam Tanowitz. We were able to perform as young girls in the outstanding SUNY Purchase Performing Arts Center, and other prominent venues in NYC. Steffi Nossen's studios are beautiful and centrally located in White Plains. In addition to Modern training, Steffi Nossen has incredible ballet, jazz, hip hop, and tap classes as well. I began at SNS at age 3, and I know many others who spent their childhood years here too. Without a doubt this school is unique and special. It's not just the best school in Westchester, Steffi Nossen also boasts a thriving foundation that seeks to bring dance to all people - regardless of personal circumstance. Their Moving Wheels and Heels program features adaptive dance for both stand up and wheelchair dancers. As a student at the school, I was able to work with this program. As a young woman, being able to not just hone my own technique, but also give back in such a fundamental way, was truly remarkable. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for high caliber dance training in a supportive environment. Steffi dancers stay connected long after high school. I am honored to be part of this community.

We enrolled our daughter in classes after reading so many wonderful reviews about this school. We…read morewere excited to meet the staff and see what our daughter would be doing, as we had in other schools that she had been in. After being delayed for 4 weeks due to construction, and then being told the week before the school had actually moved, we arrived to a new building with no little to no parking and no signs saying where the school was. When we finally found it, we were greeted with a mask mandate that wasn't communicated, and a room that was a quarter of the size of their old space. These things we could deal with. It was what followed that completely soured our opinion of the school. The man at the entrance simply told about the masking and then told us that we could leave and didn't have to stick around. While he was polite, we were confused. In other schools, we more than welcome to wait and watch our daughter enjoy her class. When we told him we wanted to wait, he got annoyed and immediately got the owner. When she approached us she explained that they don't allow the parents to wait and that we should use this as "free time" and that we could come back five minutes before class ended to watch. She then basically pushed us out of the building. This wasn't communicated before hand, so our daughter was upset by this. Once we assured her we were just outside, we left to find other parents waiting in the parking lot just as confused and irritated as us. One parent went back in to complain, and instead of being gracious and helping we later heard the headmistress aggressively complaining to her staff about the parent, fully in front of the children they were supposed to be teaching. When we went back to watch, the instructors were already cleaning up and the headmistress had to tell the instructor to go back and show us what they had taught our daughter. We were greeted with a 5 minute stretching session that showed us nothing that our daughter didn't already know before going into the class. Between this all this, the complete lack of communication on the staff's part and the fact that the classes are 30 minutes long, which is half the time other dance studios are offering at twice the price, this studio does not hold its value at all.
