I immediately jumped at the chance to join the waitlist and haven't looked back since. When it snows and Greenville is seemingly shutting down, TGS stays open. This especially matters for those parents who don't have the option to stay home. Goddard cares more about their families and teachers than dollars. Every teacher knows your child's name regardless if they're the assigned teacher. Students leave learning something wondrous every day, and they also leave feeling loved and have a since of belonging. At Goddard, you're a part of a family. Thanks for this jump start to a lifetime of learning. This school has an effective approach to homework. Homework is beyond sending worksheets home, but instead, teachers implement a hands-on, interactive approach to learning. The curriculum and teachers encourage practical applications of learning while having fun. It's nice to have conversations with my child about ignite critical thinking without being a drill sergeant. Teachers at this school are effective. Teachers are all educated and have a previous, developed early childhood experience. They are not glorified babysitters. More recently, in light of COVID, the owners and staff at TGS executed an effectively solid plan to continue fun while learning and while keeping the children safe. They are out-of-the-box thinkers who care about the teachers, parents, and most importantly, the students.

I've gotten 4 emails requesting a review for KRK so here we go. This is going to be a long one, so…read morebuckle up. My toddler attended KRK in Greer from summer 2022 to the beginning of 2024. At first we loved KRK - it was welcoming, clean, had cameras, & the teachers were great with communication. After about a year things started to go downhill. They were holding us to policies that didn't exist & having us come get our son for nonsense issues because they were understaffed. Around that time, 5 teachers plus the kitchen staff had all left & not been replaced, yet they were telling me that there was no issue with ratios due to that...ok. Reasons they sent my son home: wouldn't come off the playground, was laying half on/half off his mat, wouldn't nap, got dirty outside, got a bug bite, had a pimple on his cheek (they called those last two rashes). I ended up losing my job over my child not napping. They were calling me 1-3 times every week to come get him, while still requiring me to pay fulltime. They said he was being disruptive during nap time & that was part of the reason, even though I saw other children on the camera running around & ripping my son's blanket off of him - they were allowed to stay. When I asked why that was, I was told they aren't allowed to discuss other peoples children. A coworker of mine had her kids at the other location of KRK (now nest) and a teacher was fired there for being abusive toward the kids. The teacher was now at my location. When I asked the director about this teacher, I was met with "who told you that?". She said it wasn't true... Turns out it was true but I can't say how I know that. My son was kicked out for biting a kid that punched him in the face. My son turned 3 & was in a room with 2 year olds. Even though all the kids are in the same room, the 3 year olds have different rules. If a 2 year old bites a 3 year old and the 3 year old bites back... The 3 year old will be kicked out, but the 2 year old can stay. I was sent a whole handbook I had never seen or signed off on with the biting rule all the sudden mentioned in there - when I asked other parents if they had seen this version of the handbook, they had not. I was the only one the fake handbook was sent to and I'm positive I didn't sign off on it, even though they tried to gaslight me and tell me I did. I had a version of the handbook from when we started, but this wasn't it. One time I was at an offsite meeting for work and I didn't have my car because we all traveled there together. I got a call requesting I pick up my son because he wouldn't take a nap and I said I wouldn't be able to make it there in the one hour window they give you to pick up your child. I was BERATED and told from here on out I better have my car with me at all times. The director spoke to me like this frequently - like she was in charge of my life. As I see it, I'm paying for a service and providing THEM with their paycheck... not the other way around. They continue to get away with this, though, because waitlists are so long and they know they can replace a child the next day. Ownership shifted from multiple people to one individual and herein lies the negative changes. They also started accepting ABC vouchers, which seems to have changed the way they treat some kids. I know how all this sounds, trust me, but it's true. I've spoken to other parents this has happened to and I know the daycare will respond to this message in attack mode like I see they've done to other reviews but that's fine because this is all facts. Believe the negative reviews guys... go check the abcquality.org website because it doesn't lie (find them under " Upstate Preschool DBA Kids 'R' Kids"). They have high severity issues that they've been caught for and are rated a C. It's sad that the school went so downhill because we loved it at the beginning. Writing all this benefits me in no way personally, but I feel like parents need to see real reviews from real parents to make decisions about where to send their children. Find another facility.

Things we wish we could change- facility is dirty and smells bad most of the time, bathrooms are disgusting, more skilled coaches teaching the kids their next skills based off where they are now. The building doesn't look like much and it's a little confusing to navigate inside, however the quality of care, teachers and staff make Precious People one of the best day cares in the area. I'm very surprised that the price is so economical considering the prices of some others in the area. My son started in the "Little T's" (toddlers not potty training) and I quickly realized why changing him to Precious People was a good decision. Not only was he coming home from daycare with proof of activity (crafts, drawings, updates from teachers), but he was actually tired. You could tell that he wasn't just plopped down in a room to his own device. He quickly picked up new words and phrases. He's recently been moved up a room and because of a bad experience with a previous daycare and the move he made, I was nervous. But it was seamless and I had worried needlessly, the teachers are very friendly, warm and welcoming. I don't plan on moving my son out of Precious People until it's time for school, I've been more than pleased and this is coming from someone who is relatively difficult to please when it comes to their kid.
