We called Lawngevity Landscaping, they talked us into doing a more expensive option for 60,000 with three walls. The agreement being that they would remove the previous retaining wall, lay out new ones and smooth out the backyard. They removed most of the old retaining wall, smoothed out the backyard, and placed a few of the old pieces of the retaining wall back in our backyard. They covered it with dirt, leaving a very uneven surface. They added dirt once: ineffective band-aid fix. As the dirt fell away a small, camouflaged obstruction was created. I tripped in the small divet created at the base of that camouflaged piece of wall. I broke my foot and was unable to care for my family or work for six weeks. I told the company and it has still not been fixed. I would strongly discourage anyone from using them without verifying that they won't rush the job. Finishing a job in three days is only good if the job is done correctly and responsibility is taken!

I highly recommend purchasing fall bulbs from A.D.R.! I run a small flower farm and order from many…read morewholesalers and small bulb companies, but this was my first year working with A.D.R.. I ordered a smaller selection of bulbs for the fall (420 bulbs including 6 types of narcissi, tulips, and fritillaria). The bulbs were beautiful--firm, healthy, and well-sized--and prices were excellent. I was especially surprised and pleased with the selection of narcissi they offered. I had one small issue with fritillaria bulbs that had been damaged in transit and customer service was *outstandingly* prompt, communicative, and helpful. I followed up with a second order during their end of season sale and purchased over 3000 additional narcissus and tulip bulbs. I was even more impressed; despite the fact that it was an end-of-season sale, the bulbs were in absolutely perfect condition, and the turn-around time on packing and shipping was remarkable. I've added A.D.R. to my vendor list for yearly fall bulb orders and highly recommend ordering from them. I'll leave another review for spring-planted bulbs in future!

So the morning of my sister's funeral, I checked on my flower order, I was informed there was a…read moreproblem with my order for some odd reason. No notice or anything. I was in trouble, now I had very little time to reorder. My sister was dear to me and I needed to get something there but time had run out. I did a quick search and found Corwin Florist in the next town over. From the reviews they looked like they had a good reputation so I called. Colleen picked up the phone, awesome person. I explained what had happened and she told me they were busy but she thought she could fulfil the order. I felt relief at those words. Placed my order and prayed for the best. I still wanted a beautiful piece, something worthy for my sister but I felt like I'd have to settle for whatever they sent. I was out of time. However, Colleen came through, she sent a gorgeous piece and it meant everything on a sad, bleak day. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I wasn't a previous customer, I was a stranger to her. But you could tell, I was still important to her. She kept her word about getting it there on time. So thanks you Collen you're the best! Thank you Corwin Florist.

Buyer beware... This place engages in deceptive practices, and the owner lacks scruples and…read moreprofessionalism. I ordered flowers to my aunt who is recovering from a surgery. Below is the pic of what I thought we would be receiving (I purchased the standard of this version -- which you would think would have a similar artistic touch/style but smaller or fewer flowers) below is what was received. Yikes ... ($81) When I called to let them know that the arrangement was not at all what was advertised, Kim became super defensive and not in a professional way. Her proposed solution was to "have someone pick up the arrangement for a full refund or pick up the arrangement and add more flowers to it" I said it would be embarrassing and awkward to retrieve flowers from someone who is in recovery... (from my aunt's perspective, her niece made a thoughtful gesture -- to have someone show up and take the flowers back or add some flowers only makes what was originally perceived as a nice gesture, awkward -- which an unnecessary thing to put my sick aunt through). Kim responded that SHE wouldn't be embarrassed (right, because it was ALL about her) and called me "too uptight". Anyhow, she continued to talk over me, refusing to let me get a word in edgewise... and then she hung up on me. Makes me super sad because I was being soooo nice and careful with what I was saying. I hate taking time out of my day to deal with negative energy, so I figured I'd let Amex deal with her and write this review so that others are put on notice about this place.
