    I hired Sarah to be my florist and had such a wonderful first meeting with her at a coffee shop…read more She was so personable and at the time, I thought she would do such an amazing job with my wedding florals. I even recommended her to all the other brides I knew that were getting married at my venue. During our meeting, I told her there was only one flower I really love and wanted to be the focal point my bouquet - a large King Protea flower. I showed her some inspiration photos and she said it would not be an issue to get. I ordered white thistle boutonnières for the groom/groomsmen, flower corsages for our moms, and greenery runners (with flowers matching our bouquets) as our guest table centerpieces. For our sweetheart table, I ordered greenery runners with some extra flowers. On the weeks leading up to my wedding, it was extremely difficult to get in touch with Sarah. My wedding planner said Sarah was the only vendor she had not heard back from. I wanted to meet Sarah to go over last minute details 2-3 weeks before the wedding, but every time I attempted to meet her, she either didn't respond, or said she was too busy. She finally told me she was available to meet the afternoon before my wedding. When I met her that day, she mentioned she had been so busy because she had accidentally double booked a wedding that same weekend. Not once did she mention anything was wrong with the flowers I ordered for the wedding. On the morning of my wedding, the flower delivery arrived and I was SO upset and disappointed. I thought maybe she made the wrong delivery because it was not what I ordered. Instead of white thistle boutonnières, she sent me pink carnation boutonnières. I absolutely hate carnations. I reached out to her as I was getting my makeup done, asking her what happened with the boutonnières. She claims she "thought" she sent me an email to tell me the thistle that arrived were not in good condition, and so she didn't want to use it. She never sent me this email, she didn't even bother reaching out to me to tell me over phone or in person the day before the wedding when I met up with her to me to tell me that she would substitute it with carnations. I told her I was very upset about it and asked if there's anything she would be able to do, and she responded that she was at the venue setting up, and "would try to see" what she could do, and then NEVER RESPONDED to me for the rest of the day! She completely just went MIA and didn't bother trying to fix her mistake, which is extremely unprofessional. My husband never even put on the groom boutonnière, we just threw it out. When we arrived at the venue, the tables only had a greenery runner, and nothing else- no scattered flowers (matching our bouquets) like I had asked/paid for. The sweetheart table, I asked for it to be decorated some more floral than the guest tables, and it was literally just greenery and not a single flower or any other floral decor. I had to use my bouquet as decor because my sweetheart was so bare looking that it was embarrassing. The corsages that she sent me were all fake flowers. It was embarrassing to have to explain to my mom that I special ordered her a corsage just to find out that they were all fake. The King Protea flower that I requested to be the focal point of my bouquet was also a fake flower with a plastic stem, and there were several other large fake flowers in my bouquet. It's upsetting to know that I paid nearly $4k my wedding florals just to find out it was filled with fake flowers. I never heard back from her on my wedding day, or the days that followed, with an apology on what happened. Two days later, while on my honeymoon, I was still so upset about this that I reached out to discuss it with her. She admitted she was wrong about the boutonnières and refunded me for the cost of the boutonnières. She did not apologize for using fake flowers in my bouquet, and claimed that those flowers also arrived in bad condition, so she substituted it with fake flowers (without ever informing me). She claimed she would go to the market and buy me a fresh King Protea flower, and preserve it for me, which I did not even want. She refused to refund me for the fake corsages, and told me verbatim, "all my corsages come standard as fake, if you follow my Instagram, you'd know that". A rude and completely unprofessional response. She was not transparent, difficult to contact, and I would not recommend her to anyone. I hope no other bride would need to endure the lasting negative impression she made on me and all the stress she caused me on my wedding day. I really didn't want to leave a bad review for someone who runs a small business.. but a month later, this is still eating away at me and I wished another bride had warned me about her. The only reason I'm giving her 2 stars is because she did a great job on the wedding arch and cake flowers. Everything else was a disaster.

Below is the pic of what I thought we would be receiving (I purchased the standard of this version -- which you would think would have a similar artistic touch/style but smaller or fewer flowers) below is what was received. Yikes ... ($81) When I called to let them know that the arrangement was not at all what was advertised, Kim became super defensive and not in a professional way. Her proposed solution was to "have someone pick up the arrangement for a full refund or pick up the arrangement and add more flowers to it" I said it would be embarrassing and awkward to retrieve flowers from someone who is in recovery... (from my aunt's perspective, her niece made a thoughtful gesture -- to have someone show up and take the flowers back or add some flowers only makes what was originally perceived as a nice gesture, awkward -- which an unnecessary thing to put my sick aunt through). Kim responded that SHE wouldn't be embarrassed (right, because it was ALL about her) and called me "too uptight". Anyhow, she continued to talk over me, refusing to let me get a word in edgewise... and then she hung up on me. Makes me super sad because I was being soooo nice and careful with what I was saying. I hate taking time out of my day to deal with negative energy, so I figured I'd let Amex deal with her and write this review so that others are put on notice about this place.
