Honest, too-- I learned from sore experience elsewhere that things like Crizal hard coatings are sometimes charged but not received, and you only find out the first time something tries to scratch the lens and succeeds. Not here; all the options were in place as-ordered. And they carry the highly desirable Silhouette frameless/hingeless frames! Accept no substitutes. I have been going to e optometry for many years. I think it's time for me to make a change. The team does not follow up with you regarding steps you discuss with the doctor during the visit, you have to knock on the door to gain entry to the office- which is beyond strange. They treat you like an inconvenience if you show up without an appointment by opening the door with a "can I help you?" In a tone that implies you aren't welcome. I have never seen an office that is more locked down and lacking of customer service. The office is lovely and the product is good, hence my three stars. But it is time to improve the customer experience and stop the need for a secret knock to get in the door. It's ridiculous, inconvenient and represents your overall customer experience. Sorry, but there are a TON of options these days. Nobody needs to feel like they have to beg for a call back , an email response, or a pop in to ask a question. My experience has been that getting any response is challenging, at best, with multiple follow-ups by me and the visit is not welcomed. I would stay with e optometry if they got their act together and prioritized customer experience but it's not happening. My family is going elsewhere. 4 customers gone. Peace out. read more

Well let me just start by saying staff is extremely friendly!! I was hesitant about going to a different optometrist but this office was AMAZING. I truly felt cared about, valued and additional services were not forced on me. Their selection of glasses is excellent!!! Highly, highly recommend. I made an appointment and saw Dr. Tina Truong for an eye exam about a month back. I went in and got my full eye exam and chose to get my glasses on the same day. Dr. T was very thorough with the exam and answered all the questions I had. After the exam, I was recommended glasses to help reduce the blue light that we are exposed to constantly. She explained that this will give my eyes some relief at work. She also gave me some tips to try it out for short periods at a time at the beginning to give my eyes a chance to adjust. Appointment: Made over the phone conveniently Timeliness: No delays, was seen on time. Overall appointment took about an hour Resources: Plenty of selections available. They have option for children's glasses as well! (Front staff will help you look for the glasses that fit within you budget range) Follow up: The staff gave me a call within a week to give me updates on the status of the glasses. I've been going here for over two years. Doctor Chung is very thorough and made sure I had the right fitting for my case. He was very knowledgeable and professional. My issue is with the service. I've noticed over the years service has declined. Here are the reasons why: At times there's no one answering calls and you're not able to leave a message They don't follow up with you like they say they would One time they labeled my contacts incorrectly and was so sure that they didn't (they finally said yes they did mess up) They make you come in for another fitting if you want color contacts (cost ranges from $95 to $125 depending on what the fit you with. I have no clue what that is about) Sometimes I just feel like the front desk person doesn't know what they are talking about (just one person in particular) I had another not so great phone conversation with that person today and I've made up my mind that I do not want to deal with this place anymore. I like Dr. Chung and the staff was great about 3 years ago, the last time I went there. But I've had too many problems with the lenses they had made for my glasses. My current pair is the final straw and forced me to go to another office. All I was given were excuses about why the coating failed, why they turned yellow and hazy. There were no problems with the way I cared for them it just happens sometimes is what I was told. Not when you're spending over $600 on a single pair!! No offer to investigate or correct the problem. No incentive offered on a new pair to keep a customer satisfied. That's okay, there are plenty of other places to go. You folks do carry some nice glasses and Dr. Chung is great but that's not enough to keep this customer. read more

Dr Chung and staff really are great! I've only had one appt here, but my experience was very good. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Dr Chung also is a sweet friendly doctor. He was very knowledgeable and informative. He took the time to explain to me why he did almost every test and what it meant. I've never had an optometrist who has done that (i've had 3 different optometrists in the past). I really appreciate his calm demeanor and for taking care of my eyes. He didn't rush through the appt and made sure that I was receiving the right prescription. He was patient with my 18 month old who started fussing during the appt. Even when I wasn't a patient yet, the staff helped me with finding insurance. The office was very clean, the staff did not seem catty, the technology used seemed up to date (to me), most importantly the doctor was awesome and took the time to meet my needs. By far the best optometry office I have ever been to. Absolutely amazing customer service. Dr Tina Truong helped me so much! She rethought my contact lens prescription completely to allow me to see up close without reading glasses, and to see just as well far away. She is brilliant! She also spent an enormous amount of time with my 15 year old son to teach him how to wear contacts. I can't say enough good things about this office! Oh one more - it is absolutely gorgeous! My family have been patients of Dr. Chung for MANY MANY years! We have only continued to go because we do like Dr. Chung. However, my daughter had an appt. yesterday and it will be the last with this office. She wanted to re-learn how to put her contacts in because we bought her some but she never used them and then forgot how to put them in. (she had them for a year and a half in the box) I called to make an appointment to see if they could show her again and I was told to have her bring the left and right contact. She also wanted to update the LENSES in her very cute Coach glasses. I was also told that she was due for another exam so I made the appt. and I had her leave school for this appt. She had the exam and when she asked about learning to put the contacts in she was told she would have to come in another time for that. What??? Really??? (I wasn't with her) My main purpose for the appt was to have this taught to her. Next, my daughter told them that she wanted to use her same Coach glass frames just replace the lenses. They continuously tried to upsell to her. She insisted on the same frames. EVERY time we have had appts here, they have always tried to upsell. I don't like that. We have spend plenty of money here over the years. But no more. This was the last straw. I am now looking for a new eye doctor. Nothing against Dr. Chung himself, just some of the staff. 4 weeks and counting! Still my husband is without glasses! This is so un called for! Twice now they have had an issue with the lenses! Called to speak to a mangager or Dr. Chung...neither available! Here goes week five! Asking for a full refund on lenses and frames. Costco can get this better than they have! Oh and today they said they put a rush on it! Seriously? I've been coming for years. Dr Chung is a great doctor and doesn't over-prescribe lens. As I get older its good to have someone who understands how age, computers and Blackberries effect our eyes. BEST !! I have been a patient with Dr. Chung for many years. I am very picky when it comes to MD's. Dr. Chung is so informational on eye care. My insurance changed one year and I had to go see an other eye MD. That was not a pleasant visit and the Rx for my glasses were awful. Back to Dr. Chung's office I went. My whole family goes to Dr. Chung; first my husband and me, then our 2 children when they were born. Dr. Chung is extremely knowledgeable, calm, and thorough. He has helped me through glasses and contacts, and between him and his staff, I've always been well taken care of. A few years ago I bought some glasses at a chain store for less money, but I had to replace them as quickly as possible because they were such poor quality. I had been to see Dr. chang a few times he and is staff was very professional and nice to work with. Now the office is a whole new staff and not very knowledgeable the young lady that helped did not know how my two insurance plans worked. she told me I could not combine them that I could only use one plan or the other I said no I think you need to call and get the right info from them. which she did but she should have done that before she even got ready to deal with me her customer. I didn't get my glasses their. I got my prescription and left the new office seemed a little shady. I have to say the new lady optometrist was very professional and very nice. the staff is what I didn't feel comfortable with especially Stephanie who helped me didn't give truthful information nor did she mention that my insurance had an extra incentive if I choose a certain brand name of glasses or she just didn't understand my dual insurance which is her job to be informed. I am generally not a person who is easy to deal with - I do tons of research ahead of time because I hate making mistakes, and I'm a bit obsessive about getting things right. I have never received better service anywhere else than with Quyen at E-Optometry. Quyen is absolutely superb. She is knowledgeable, patient, and she was masterful in guiding a very indecisive me through the three separate times I've come in to look at lenses and frames. She even happily discussed Abbe values and base curves with me, and has worked with me to put together a very specific set of Silhouettes containing lenses with an abnormally large B-measurement for my needs. She also gave me great advice on which frames and lenses would go best with my face (I need all the help I can get!), then even put up with me when I went against her recommendations and then changed my mind at the last minute! See - I'm basically the customer that nightmares are made of, and she has treated me absolutely wonderfully! The office and the rest of the staff are awesome, too; efficient, helpful, and friendly, and there is a great selection of very high quality frames. They carry the full line of Silhouettes with many different lenses, they carry Zero G, which I haven't seen any other place, and they have a great display of Cartier, Oakley, Ray-ban, and tons of ladies' fashion frames. It has a nice, high-end feel, and is located in a new development area with plenty of parking, close to downtown. There is a nice waiting area as well. If you're looking for it, it's located in the front lobby of the building next to the bank, and there are nice bathrooms just down the hall. read more
