Most accurate prescription, fitting and fabrication I've enjoyed in three decades. Great shop,…read morefriendly and helpful staff. Honest, too-- I learned from sore experience elsewhere that things like Crizal hard coatings are sometimes charged but not received, and you only find out the first time something tries to scratch the lens and succeeds. Not here; all the options were in place as-ordered. And they carry the highly desirable Silhouette frameless/hingeless frames! Accept no substitutes. Those things last forever and are light as a feather. This shop has them and knows how to work with them. Recommended!

DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING IN YOUR EYE OR AN EYE INJURY!!!!!…read moreVisit this business AT YOUR OWN RISK and read carefully what they do, they do not help you if you have an eye injury, although when you call them and tell them you have something in your eye and a possible eye injury, they will tell you that they can see you immediately, and that they will squeeze you in, this denotes that they can do something about it or they are experts at helping you with it or referring when necessary, they are NOT. This woman could have cost me my eyesight in one eye. I had my nails done at a nail salon the day before and because they were closing, they did not have me wash my hands after putting acrylic nails on, and when I got into my car I unfortunately touched my eyelid and I got the acrylic powder into my eye. It hurt immediately, and I rushed home and flushed it, but the next morning it was very swollen. The Ai recommended this business and said it was great for squeezing you in if you had an eye emergency, so I called and was told that they could squeeze me in in an hour, and I explained what had happened. When I arrived, it was located at the back of a nice building in a nice neighborhood, but surprisingly they had the front door locked, which was weird, usually that's in bad neighborhoods, which now looking back probably means, we don't want angry clients walking in and throwing a fit in front of our other clients. I sat down and explained to her that I had gotten acrylic powder in my eye, and that it was hurting on my upper lid and that I could feel it when I blinked. She gave me an exam and told me that she didn't see anything except for a slight eyelid infection that had started and prescribed antibiotic ointment. I questioned this and said are you sure that you examined all of the areas in the upper eyelid and she said yes it's just a slight eyelid infection, use the ointment and come and see me in a week. This didn't seem right because I was in a lot of pain and could feel that something was up in my eyelid, but she was older and seemed like she knew what she was doing so I went and got the ointment and used it for the whole day. The next morning I woke up and my eye was swollen to twice the size and I could not open it all the way, and my eyesight was blurry, and I looked like a monster. I immediately rushed to Stanford hospital, where smart people reside and they immediately said when you get acrylic powder in your eye, it needs to be irrigated out immediately or you could ulcerate on your eye and have a permanent problem. The doctor informed me that because the acrylic powder is translucent. It might not be visible and that there was no way to retract the lid far enough to be able to see it if it was in there and that normal irrigation would not work with something like this. They applied a suction cup to my eye, like a big rubber plastic contact and hooked me to iv with a liter of water and began irrigating my eye with that liter of water to irrigate it out. You can imagine how intense that experience was, but it was sure worth it for my eye not to be on fire and scratching every time I blinked or to lose my vision. They gave me eye drops that have an anabiotic in them to help with the infection and the swelling. I did not have to go through this Extreme drama if she would've just said you need to go to a hospital immediately because if you have acrylic powder up in your eye, it's going to need to be irrigated. There was not even an offer to flush my eye, she hurried through my examination, which was about 20 minutes and had another customer waiting, there was not even the suggestion to flush it out, and she did not offer the advice to go to a hospital. It was very much a vibe like ok we've seen you now get out of here and what is your insurance? It is a beautiful office and I'm sure that people that just need a pair of glasses do wonderful here, if you have a serious problem, you can get yourself into more serious problems by trusting them to help you with your injury or referral. I am a super positive person and the only reason I am writing this review is so that anyone who is injured does not waste their time here or possibly injure themselves worse by listening to bad advice. A tube of ointment could not solve my problem and no one even checked back with me the next day. She should just be selling eye wear and doing prescription glasses exams period. Immediately after the irrigation at the hospital I was out of pain and the swelling started going down. It's now been a day and my eye looks almost normal. This is a picture I took after heading to the hospital and being irrigated so that you can see the review is real, I should have taken one before the hospital, it was much worse but I was panicked and in too much pain, this is so you can see that this is a real review. (I had tattoo removal done a week prior so my brows look weird in the photo)

What's great about Your Eyes Image is the combination of how thorough and knowledgeable Dr. Maher is, as well as the entire staff and the lab used to create the corrected lenses. I have worn glasses since the age of 12, so I have a reasonable expectations. After choosing a nice pair of frames over the holiday I was looking forward to picking them up but not prepared for the most complete correction. I was so surprised! I wear bifocals and have for some years and grown accustomed to "how I see" with my glasses on. This is different, it is the most complete-correction I do not feel like I'm wearing glasses at all! Important to note I do not have progressive lenses I have the block of reading correction built into this lens, but I don't see the line anymore. I just feel like I have my vision back! Yes, there's great advancements in the high-index plastic but a great correction also requires the right Rx and the staff was so thorough with all the options, landing on what was just right for me. I had the best experience and want to share it with others. Go see Dr. Maher and his staff - they're fantastic!

I've noticed the machines they use to test my eyes are different compared to when I've gone to Kaiser or Costco. My prescription is more accurate compared to what I had before. I always believe that taking care of my eyes is an investment so I don't mind spending the money here. They offer an amazing selection of brands and styles. And if they don't have something I wanted they can get something close or better to it. Thanks to the staff all the women in the front end helping out. They all have excellent customer service demeanor. Specially Melissa who has helped me I've gone back multiple times and by now I thought I would get annoying. Melissa has a professional kind manner of answering any questions or concerns. Very welcoming.
